Not worth the time or money! I will not be going back and I do not recommend! My kids got me a $70 gift certificate for Mother’s Day. I was really looking forward to a nice $35 (30) minute massage as well as a Deluxe Pedicure. I called to schedule for my 30 minute massage ahead of time and was given a noon appointment time. When I showed up and told them I had a noon appointment I was treated like they had no idea what I was talking about. I was then told to go pick out a color of nail polish but I was not able to understand what she was telling me. After (3) tries, I just walked in the direction of where she was pointing and figured out what she was trying to say after standing there for a minute. I understand that there may be a language barrier, however, there needs to be a way that the customer can understand as well. I then went over and sat down and explained that I wanted a Deluxe Pedicure along with a 30 minute massage. After repeating myself several times and letting the person know what she kept saying was not what I wanted, I finally was hopeful they understood. I was then told that they were getting ready to have me go and get my massage. I then went and dried my nails for the (5) minutes they told me to. I was then told to follow another woman, who again, I could not understand. After many failed attempts of trying to understand her, I was treated as if I should understand and with an attitude. I eventually realized where she wanted me to go. At this point, I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The massage was not what I would call a massage. It literally felt like someone just putting oil on my body before I go swimming. My legs were pushed into for like 30 seconds throughout the entire “massage.” Once I left and got in the car, I realized my pedicure was completely smudged. I was so frustrated with my experience that I called to let the manager know. I enjoyed my pedicure soooo much. I did the Deluxe and I am satisfied. It lives up to what I expect for a Deluxe pedicure. Anna did a great job massaging my tired, sore nurse feet. After a long week of being a nurse, this was definitely what I needed. Thanks bunches! :) Read Less

LeAnne at La Nails is AMAZING! I drive out of the way every two weeks just for her and I always will! So nice, listens to your requests and is very gentle! The prices here are absolutely ridiculous, especially for the quality of the nails you get. I am not impressed. My nails are misshapen, and the color doesn't completely cover the nail. My friends nails look like a kindergartener painted them. I would highly advise not coming here. You could go to a Walmart nail salon and pay half the price and get better quality nails then this. I don't usually come here. But today I was at the mall and needed a mani/pedi and had kiddos with me and thought, they can shop around while I get my nails done (they're 12 and 16)... LeeAnn was my nail tech. I got a deluxe pedicure and asked for a half moon Shellac manicure, which is a retro polish style on oval filed nails. She did amazing. Her attention to detail was fantastic and I am pleased with everything she did. One of my best manicures ever. And she also waxed my eyebrows and they look great. I highly recommend LeeAnn. I went here tonight because I needed to get my nails done badly and they were the only place open after 730 PM.  I didn't bother to read the reviews until now and I was pretty surprised at all the negative comments.  I'm guessing that only those who received bad service are taking time to review and complain because I had a very nice experience there.  My nails were done  just the way I requested and my brows look amazing. Even though I came in towards the end of the day,  I was warmly welcomed and never felt rushed.  If anything,  the nail tech really took her time and did a very good job.  I would recommend this salon for its quality work,  friendly staff and later hours,  which are more convenient for me. WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN. I thought I was doing myself a favor by coming here while shopping at the mall, instead of going out of my way to one of my usual salons. Bad decision. For starters, the lady who greeted me was beyond rude from the beginning and acted appalled when I declined the numerous additional services she wanted to tack on to what I wanted done. I understand trying to upsell, but do not continuously try over and over and over again and then act like that when someone politely declines. Additionally, do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get eyebrows, lip, or anything waxed here unless you want raw, red, burning, bumpy, irritated skin for SEVERAL DAYS following. So embarrassing and not supposed to happen. This has never happened to me before and I get the same thing done every single month and have done so for years. I knew when the lady was ripping the wax off that something wasn't right.. sure enough, the burning sensation and redness (which is normal for a short amount of time following) did not go away and just got worse and worse as time went on. Immediately upon arrival, I was hounded by the brothel madam - er... salon manager asking me what I wanted and to pick out a color. I had really no time to get a good look at the colors since he hounded me about 3 times so I ended up just choosing a pink & white full set since I didn't want to make a decision under pressure. They were busy, but the manager made me feel as if I were in a cheap wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am brothel instead of a salon. I'm not sure why he needed to know what color I was getting since he was not the one doing my nails? Perhaps to make sure his poor workers gave him the right percentage.I got a really good tech who I will not name because I do not want them fired for my negative review since it was not their fault, but the manager's fault that I am giving this review.They did a really good job on my nails and I am impressed with the quality, but they used an electric file on my natural nails which is EXTREMELY bad for nails, and can lead to bleeding and infection. They did not ask me if I preferred a regular nail file or the electric one, they just took out the electric and ravaged my natural nail. Very. Un. Professional. Will not be going back, it seems the staff are worked like race horses and the greedy management wants you in and out as quickly as possible to take your money. I'm not even sure if the tech was able to keep all of the money I gave them as a tip. As an independent contractor, I know how crappy management tries to get away with exorbitant fines and ridiculous fees on their workers and I do not take kindly to it. On January 10, 2014 I took my 10 yr. old niece here for her very first pedicure for her birthday. I was given the pedicure spa chair right next to her kiddie char which was great since she was nervous being that it was her first time. My water was very cold so I ask for new water. It came out cold again so they moved me down a chair. That spa had luke warm water. I decided to brush it off because it was my nieces day and I didn't want to have to leave when she started enjoying it. A few ladies came in after us and they also complained about the water being cold. One of them decided not to get a pedicure because of the water and another had the worker bring her hot water from the faucet and put it into her spa chair. As I was getting my pedicure the lady pulled skin from the side of my toe instead of my cuticle. The next 20 mins included her holding a towel on my toe because the bleeding was so bad (she pulled a big piece of skin due to not paying attention & hurrying). It was the worst pedicure, most uncomfortable, and nerve racking pedicure I've ever had. The whole time I was worried I would get an infection because they don't have liners in the spa and she kept having me clean the blood in the water... gross! My painted nails looked great and I went home and doctor myself to prevent infection. My niece got a great pedicure and manicure from her technician and I was very pleased by that. I had a manicure, pedicure and eye brow wax.  The first service was the pedicure and the employee doing my pedicure was in a big hurry to get my service done as fast as possible. I went to have these services to relax and enjoy myself.  At one point I asked the employee could she please be more gentle .....it's hard to be gentle if you are in a big rush.  For the best pedicure they offer which is $55 it wasn't worth it at all and I had a special design put on both of my big toes which doesn't match and its suppose to.  The manicure was fine and the eyebrow wax was wonderful.  The esthetician that gave me the wax was very kind, took her time and did a great job.  I highly recommend the Esthetician.  I would love to go back and have a facial by her. I've had half a dozen pedicures at this salon. After what happened yesterday I will never go back. Everything was fine until the pedicurist got some trimmers and began *cutting down into the side of my nail*. It was extremely painful and I let him know so, but by the time it happened it was too late. He'd cut down very deeply, removing a side portion of my nail. I am 100% sure there was blood, but I couldn't bear to look. When he sprayed my toes with some kind of disinfectant (alcohol, I'd guess) it burned like fire. It was painful walking out of the salon and I could tell then there were going to be issues. Now, 24 hours later, it's very painful and red and I can tell that I'm going to end up with a pretty deeply ingrown toenail from this if I don't see a doctor. AWFUL experience. I will never give this salon my business again.Aside from that, my best friend who was with me was hassled to use the ATM because her pedicurist wanted to be paid in cash. Even though he had understood her fine whenever we were talking at the pedicure chairs, when he was asking for her to pay he was acting like he didn't understand when she said she wanted to pay with a credit card. He took the credit card and returned and began asking her to use the ATM to get money to pay. She refused to use the ATM 4 times before he finally took the card again and ran it. I was very unimpressed with this salon.   My friend and I arrived together to get manicures, and were promptly seated on opposite sides of the salon.  I noticed all the people who checked in after us were seated together.  I am also very unimpressed with the shellac manicure I was given.  The girl was eating cookies in-between steps.   She couldn't even excuse herself to have a cookie.  She did a poor job.  My nails look fine from afar, but up-close look a mess.  The massage part of the manicure was lack luster as well.   She stood up and was talking to another employee and the massage was like an after thought.  Very quick and rough and she might as well just not have done it.The only reason I came here was because my usual place was soooo busy.   When you pay $30+ for a service, it should be a little better than what they offer here.  I learned my lesson-next time ill just wait at my usual place.   I will never go back to LA Nails.
