BEST NAIL SALON IN NORMAN. I've been visiting Joe's for several years and they are the best. They always do a great job and the prices are better than other salons I've been to. They get busy a lot (because the secret is getting out.... speaking of which this review is probably not helping...) but they always have plenty of technicians working and have a good system down to get walk-ins started quickly. They are also faster than other salons I've been to (I spent over 3 hours at a salon at the mall for the same nails that I can get done at Joe's in half the time). They have comfortable massage chairs for pedi's and usually offer you a drink which I hardly ever take them up on but I still love that they ask... just another small thing that sets them apart from their competition. I just got home from this place so this review may be a bit more harsh than normal. I have never had a more rude person do my nails in the 20 years I’ve been getting my nails done. I couldn’t tell you how many times she got up and and walked away while I was getting my mani/pedi. How many times she nicked my cuticles and rubbed alcohol on them and made me feel like my fingers were in the fiery depths of hell. No “Oh, I’m sorry” or “this may burn a little”. Nope! When she asked me what I thought about my nails I told her they didn’t look as pink as I’m used to (my normal salon is closed on sundays and I had no choice). But they were good enough for what I was paying. When I went to pay she looked pissed because I wasn’t fully satisfied even though I gave her a $5 tip. I told her “thank you” and she seriously just walked away. Never again will I step foot in a salon with a 3.7 star review because it was convenient. There is a reason people!! Read Less

Great prices, high quality service. I loved Amy, she perfectly struck that balance between talking enough to be friendly, but not too much during the service. I got the gel shellac manicure and it took about 45 minutes. I did not feel rushed, but she had the speed of someone who is skilled and has been doing this for a very long time. I made an appointment but they say walk-ins are welcome, and their flyer says free wi-fi but I didn't use it so I can't attest to that.Read Less

We've been going to Joe's Nails in Norman, OK for years.  The salon is up to date, well maintained, and very clean.  The staff is always courteous, professional,  and does a great job.  That's why Joe's Nails has won the Readers' Choice Award for best Nails and Spa seven years in a row.  We have recommended Joe's to friends and family and they have all had great experiences and thanked us for recommending a great nail salon.  For gifts we give people gift certificates to Joe's. I walked out of the salon crying.  I would give a zero star review if I could.  I showed the lady exactly what I wanted and she said she could do it.  It looks nothing like what I wanted and they still made us pay.  I would not recommend this place. Read Less

Crappy manicure. Lady was rude and didn't speak English. I asked her to fix my nails several times and she never understood what I was saying. $15 for a crappy manicure in Norman is ridiculous. Stay away! Read Less

I just recently moved to Norman, Joe's was recommend by me though a friend and it didn't disappoint. I got a shellac manicure and it took roughly 30 minutes when it usually takes 2 hours. Best manicure I've had in months! Read Less

First time at this shop.  It was very clean and the manicurist did a fine job.  I will return!  My pedicure was especially good because the manicurists weren't talking to each other while they worked.... I was able to truly relax. Read Less

Had a pedi then a mani. Forgot how relaxing it was and maybe too relaxing. However after we left we went shopping and I noticed she cut my little finger cuticle to short one one place it to the point it bled a wee bit. When I got home that night I notice that I still had calluses and not one but two nicks on the same little finger. I've had better, in fact I do it better at home for free. Read Less

I've been to a lot of nail salons but this is the only one I've ever walked out of due to terrible customer service. When I went in I asked what the cost was and the guy, perhaps Joe?, immediately got an attitude with me treating me like I had some kind of nerve for asking. I was asking for shellac and a cuticle trim and he kept changing the price the more we talked. When I finally got to sit down with one of the girls, she asked what I had decided upon, probably so she could be sure. With that, Joe started yelling at her and banging on the table with his fingers telling her not to ask me again. He walked away a bit, turned around, pointed at her, and said it again. All yelling like it was really meant for me. I told him I get my nails done to relax and not to have to deal with chaos and stress and left. Maybe it was just a bad day. Read Less
