My daughter and I nails look great but... My fingers hurt from the overuse of power tools for powder nails. Also, while I was washing my hands the technician put another person in my seat. The person was in a rush to get back to work. I really didn't appreciate that because she was about to have me wait, as if I didn't have somewhere to be. I'm not going to bring color into but I will say I felt disrespected. Y'all shouldn't be pushing off people to accommodate others. Thank you but we will not be coming back. Read Less

Love this shop, Katie is the best!!  Moved here about a year ago and this is the place for me.  Tried other shops in area before and after, but no one takes care of my nails like this place.  I have a allergy to most products and I am able to wear these acrylics.  They do a great job on pedi's also!!!  Reasonable prices. I have been going to Art Nails for years!  It's honestly my FAVORITE place in Norman. Even after many attempts to try other places, I ALWAYS ended up back at Art Nails. I truly enjoy the staff.  Katie is THE BEST at solar nails and Kiem is my ABSOLUTE FAVE for shellac & pedi's and both have been taking care of me and my daughter for many years.  Katie knows I have a hard time taking care of my nails (between being a biter{and I'm working on that} and eczema)  and I believe truly cares about the well being of my nails and at times, has mentioned I needed to grow my nails out a little longer or get them healed before doing anything. She is not about just getting my business for the money. I believe she truly cares about me and my nails well-being. And all the staff is always so kind and says Hi, by my name when I come and go.  I highly recommend this salon! Read Less

Below average, at best. I went here during my lunch break and the people there weren't very friendly (one lady was and I think she was the owner). They were constantly giggling in another language every time I asked a question, such as "what makes a manicure a spa manicure?". The mani lasted 20 minutes and consisted of soaking hands in water for a minute, cutting of cuticles, trimming my nails, filing them (no buffing or no cuticle lotion), a dip in paraffin, then painting them. My nails aren't filed well because they're rough. This cost $15! Read Less

My nail polish only last a day, I was charged for a deluxe manicure- but then at the end was told no wax. And I would have to come back later. I spoke with someone today about my issues and was told I would have to pay again and I would have to use Shellac. I'm sorry but I won't return. Wanted to check this place out because it's right down the street.  I got here at 7:07 thinking I'd have time for an eyebrow wax but the door is locked and the place is closed.  Nevermind the fact that the open sign is still on and it shows closing time as 730. I made an appointment two days prior and showed up on time. They apologized and told us that they took some walk-ins instead of us even though they knew we had appointments. We had pedicures... This was our first visit.Staff was accomodating,  polite, and friendly.  Offered tips to help the pedi last longer. Offered water.  There was good cross ventilation so the place wasn't overpowering the customers with fumes (not sure how it would be on a hot day).  The massage chairs worked.   There were lots of polish colors to choose from.  They applied a base coat, two color coats, and a shiny top coat.  We did the deluxe pedicure - lots of scrubs, creams, hot towels, massage, etc.  Loved the hot towel wrap!  :-)We did not feel rushed.  Felt like we could stay as long as we wanted, even though they were quite busy.  Filled out a form with anniversary and birthday - said they send a special offer.   Received a $5 off voucher for our next visit!   :-) Toes look great!  Feet are much happier. I was at this Salon this afternoon getting a mani/pedi. Great staff that always takes their time and does a great job. My only complaint,  though I won't blame  the Salon, is the white trash family DIRECTLY outside the front door eating pizza hut out of the back of a pick up truck or mini van or something.  There was at least seven of them, four kids one louder then the next, especially this funny looking kid with glasses who wouldn't stop yelling the entire time. The only one louder then the kid with glasses was  of the adults who looked like he hasn't had a haircut in six years.  Besides these rednecks which was just bad timing, there is a pizza hut next store,  the salon experience was great. I went in to get my eyebrows done and shellac. I am very happy with my nail service (4stars).The waxing not so much(1 star). As soon as my nails were done, I was rushed into a back room where the woman took very little time waxing. Other places I go they will take the time to examine my face, pluck hairs, etc. While I was laying down I was asked if I wanted my lip waxed. I said sure. It was soo hot my lip! Now my skin looks like I've had some bad reaction.I will never get waxing services from here again. Read Less

With stellar reviews on other sites and the convenience of it being down the road from me, I decided to give Art Nails a shot with my mom and sister. We ended up having an excellent, relaxing afternoon.The shop and tools were clean. The women that helped us were sweet (Quinn was my technician) and gave us the best mani/pedis in Oklahoma at an extremely reasonable price (about $10 for a manicure with paraffin wax and $20 for a full blown pedicure). They also offer waxing. I'm not sure of the price, but I believe it is equally inexpensive.One thing they mentioned from the get-go is that they do not take off as much dead skin as some places. Apparently if they take off too much, the new skin will callous over tenfold. My feet still looked great but were not pink or sore like they can get at some places that go overboard and I found it very easy to maintain even months later.If you are still on the lookout for a reliable, inexpensive nail salon in Norman, look no further. Had my fist visit to Art Nails today for a gel manicure. Great experience. Very relaxing and quiet. No one was rushing around or yelling at each other - unlike some of the other nail places.. Great pricing too. Gel manicure was $25 and included the hot wax treatment for your hands. Will definitely go back very soon to try a pedicure. Read Less

Tried many salons after moving here from Dallas until I was told this was the best place for solar nails and French pedicures. Won't go anywhere else now. Quality at same level as my Highland Park area and a true jewel on west side. I drive several miles and my nails look excellent for several weeks till fill. I travel with corporate work so this is important to me!! Highly recommend. Read Less
