Will never go back! Went there specifically to get ombre nails and was told I could get color I wanted. After 3 1/2 hours the man couldn't and was upset with me because he was missing out on other business. He then told me I had to pick a regular polish. Three of my finger were cut and bleeding because he rushed to get them done after he got all the dip off. My polish is now left bumpy and rough with sharp edges. They look terrible!! Absolutely terrible experience! I was looking for somewhat nice to get my nails done, based on other reviews Allure seemed like a good choice. I wanted my cuticles done, new shellac, a simple fill, and to have my nails shaped. I sat down explained what I wanted and asked if she'd be able to do the design I was asking for. The girl seemed annoyed at everything I said and said not to worry. She insisted on removing my acrylic nails and applying new dip nails so I agreed assuming she new what she was doing. Well you know what they say about assuming. My nails look terrible! Only after beginning to apply the new nails she said she wasn't going to work on my cuticles even though I said multiple times I wanted them done. She RUSHED through applying my nails stopping frequently to use her phone and text. Once it came time to apply shellac she then let me know she wouldn't be able to do the design I asked for (I've gotten the same design before other places with shellac) So I asked if it would be possible with polish. She said yes, however, it literally looks like a Pintrest fail. My nails look worse than plastic press on nails from Walmart. She didn't take time to polish the remaining nails well and when I accidentally bumped them and asked for them to be fixed she refused and rolled her eyes. My boyfriend has even commented saying how ratchet and cheap my nails look! This is a great place. The basic pedicure with French tip polish is more expensive than most other places, but the quality is really worth it. I would say that this is the best place to get shellac or a pedicure in Norman. The only downside is that usually this place is really busy, so plan on waiting about 30 minutes  if you don't make an appointment. There have been multiple times that I have come in and had to leave before I could get my nails done because of the wait. Generally, they seem to take more time with the services too, being very meticulous and getting you exactly what you want. There have been a few times that I've just shown them a picture and they've been able to replicate it exactly. One time I showed my technician a photo of a shellac color from a Pinterest post and she knew the exact OPI shade right off the top of her head! Needless to say, spend the few extra $$ and be guaranteed to leave happy and loving the nails you have to live with for the next two weeks. Read Less

Terrible experience the management threatened to call the police on me and forced me to pay for a service I didn't want! Today I went in for a shellac manicure and they seemed to be having an issue with the machine the use to dry the nails. The woman completely finished my nails and then as she began wiping them off at the end she saw some of the color was coming off too. She then pulled out the electric file and began removing the polish. I had already been in the salon for over an hour and wasn't able to wait for her to do it again. I explained I just wanted it removed. She removed most of the polish and as I got up to leave she told me it would be $15 because she cut back my cuticles. I looked at her confused and she made me talk with her boss (I'm guessing) and he immediately told me if I didn't pay he would call the cops. Terrible customer service and seemingly dirty tools. My cuticles were also cut and bloodied from the $15 cutting. There are so many other places in Norman to go, try one of those. Read Less

My daughter went to have a pedicure done recently. The lady kept cutting on her big toe nail my daughter told her it was hurting. A day later her toe was swollen and is red around the skin near cuticle and may have to have surgery if the antibiotics do not take away the infection. Read Less

I've been coming to this spa for about 2 years now, I love it. I've been to more than five different types of nail spa in Norman, and by far this is the best one! I'm satisfied with the price they charge for the quality of the nails, the spa is clean, and the ladies are very nice. I always get my medicine and pedicure I'm gel, it's so worth it! They can last up to 3 weeks! They make sure that all my nails look nice and are taken care of. That's why I always ended up coming back here :) Read Less

Buyer beware if considering buying a gift card, as they expire in 6 months and this establishment refused to let my wife use the one I bought her after expiration. 6 months seems like an unreasonably short amount of time to have to use a gift card. I will not be buying one again. Read Less

Had a very rough manicure and pedicure with one of the technicians! I had to ask her to stop digging into my toes with clippers ( she drew blood) and during the buffing on my fingernails I experienced  pain caused by poor use of buffing machine. I have never had this kind of painful experience at any other salon! However, my daughter had a great mani/ pedi with one of the male technicians on the same visit so I will just make sure if I return that I do not get the same woman technician, she was a horror! ridiculous! I just had the most amazing pedicure experience here. The massage part was heavenly and lasted a good 25 minutes of my pedicure experience. I got the deluxe which comes with a scrub and a moisturizer for your feet with hot towels. So very relaxing! This is my second time here and I'll definitely be coming back! There is usually a wait here but it's definitely worth the wait! Most people will stay just because the service is so incredible. Read Less

Horrible service and very rude. Avoid at all costs. After being told there would be a 20 minute wait, and having 2 people who came in after I did ask myself and the 2 people in front of me that were also waiting if we were waiting and hearing them say they were not sure if they would be able to wait that long since they were 4th and 5th in line,this place took the 2 people who came in last before the 3 people who had already waited over 20 minutes before they came in. When I asked why they were being taken first, the worker said they had an appointment. It makes no sense why someone would be concerned about how many people are waiting if they aren't also going to have to wait until after you. They then proceeded to tell those of us already waiting that it would be another 30-45 minutes before we could be helped (after already having waited over the 20 minutes we had originally been told the wait would be.) The girl who did my pedicure did a fantastic job, the salon was quiet & relaxing,  she did  talk to me much, which is just what I wanted....to be able to relax :)  I called to make sure they had room available before my walk in, and they did. Okay, so the first time I came to this nail salon I had a not so great experience. I had a young female nail tech who was new. But recently I decided to go back and had the best experience ever. I've been trying different nail salons in Norman and this is by far the best pedicure I've ever received! Johnny was the nail tech I had. He was absolutely awesome. Had a very rough pedicure which included digging in my toe with clippers without even asking first. Caused a cut on toe that hurts now 5 days later. Came for a polish change, $5, to check the place out. Nice looking. In dire need of a good cleaning/dusting. Best massage chair I've sat in as far as nail saloons go. Seems very pleasant. Attentive. I have gotten plenty of pedicures and gone to nail salons in several different states so I know a good place when I see one. This was not it. The people were unfriendly and unhelpful. Their selection of nail polish is not impressive. I went in and was trying to find a certain color and the lady kept telling me to sit down in the chair, but I told her I couldn't find the color I wanted, thinking that she could help me I asked her and she was rude and made me feel stupid. The color she kept showing me wasn't the color I asked for and she kept insisting it was. I finally said that I would choose a color she picked but I just didn't like it and she seemed annoyed that I took too long, which was only a few minutes. I realized that if this lady was rude and impatient just to help me find the color I wanted, I would be stupid to let her touch my nails and give them my business . I decided that I would pick another place that would have my color and told her and she shouted a word at me in a rude tone in her native language, which I assumed to be vulgar. I was happy with my decision to leave and I think that any one who does not feel comfortable or accepted at a place where they are supposed to at least attempt to accommodate you, should leave.
