This is the first time I have EVER written a review for any business but I was so disappointed and upset after leaving Regal Nails tonight I decided to write my first. I am giving them one star because my first, and last, visit started great. They were pretty busy when I signed in but were able to work me in promptly. My son was with me and there was couch which was a nice spot where he could sit and play on my phone. I needed a full set and a very nice lady started working on my nails. We talked about our children, (hers were there and sitting on the couch with my son,) our family lives, and the town (my family was recently relocated to the area.) She was doing a great job and was very gentle. She got a little over half way through and an older gentleman (I use the term gentle man loosely) came over and took over for her, I guess it was time for her to take a break. He started out fine, he complemented how good my son was being, but he seemed like he was in a big hurry. He was filing excessively rough and kept hitting my skin with the drill. I told him after the first four or five times that it hurt and all he said was when I tensed up every time it made him not want to do them. I let it go thinking maybe I was just being too sensitive...I've been having my nails done for the last 12 yrs but had them taken off about 6 months ago something I do often. He continued filing roughly, filing my skin, and nicking my skin with the drill. When I was the only one in there my son came to sit beside me to watch and, when trying to scoot closer to me, he accidentally knocked off a cup from the customer previous to me. We helped clean it up and my son then went and stood next to me on the other side at which time the man, very sternly, said "Just go sit over there. Do not come over here." I told my son it was ok, accidents happen, and to sit on the couch and watch a show on my phone and he did. The man started working on my nails again only this time more quickly and rougher than before. After I had said "ouch" 3 times, the man tossed the finger nail shaving coated file at me leaving a white mark on my black shirt and told me, "You do it!" I was so shocked I just said, "Excuse me?" He replied, "You think you can do better, you do it then!" Now angry, I told him, "I didn't want to do it myself or I wouldn't be there." He then said "Then sit still!!" I said, "But you are really hurting me!" Showing him the little blood spot on the skin on the side of the nail on my left index finger I asked "can't we just leave it alone?" He said "I said if you want to do it..." I interrupted and told him to skip it which seemed to really irritate him. When it was time to wash my hands he asked if they looked "OK." I said they did but after washing I noticed the corner of one looked sharp so I asked him if he could round it little to which he replied "When I asked you if they were ok you should have told me this then." Then he rounded the corner. Needless to say he did not receive a tip and I will not be returning. That was the rudest, most arrogant display of unprofessionalism I have EVER had to deal with. Not to mention my fingernails and the areas around my nails are sooo sore. I WILL NOT EVER go back to this place. Read Less
