If you are looking to get your eyebrows done RUN FAR AWAY from here!!!!! I have been growing mine out for almost a year due to a bad wax job and had finally gotten to a point I was happy with them... that all changed. I expressed I did Not want thin brows. I just wanted them trimmed and cleaned up. I said I want thicker brows. "Holly" took that as a rip them all off and leave them Pencil Thin!!!!! And when I got home I noticed not only are they the Thinnest my brows have Ever been they are also So Terribly UNEVEN!!!! Shellac Nails & Spa is the best and I love getting my gel manicures done here. They are all great. I usually make an appointment ahead of time if I plan on going on the weekend, but they are pretty good at accommodating walk ins with little wait time. This nail salon was such a beautiful place. I had been to many nail salons for pedicure and manicure and this place was the one with the best service. I couldn't get name of the lady worked on my nails but she was so nice and helpful. Her skill was professional, she took her time on every detail of my nail. All of them were fantastic! Two skilled techs did my manicure and pedicure. I was highly satisfied with the service of both lovely ladies. They took their time on me and seem to do what is best for their customers. I originally asked for a fill (thinking that's what was needed since my nails looked awful) but they advised me that I only needed a manicure because my cuticles were very dry and damaged. I came here last night for the first time. I needed my Acrylics that I got from another salon taken off. They were so great at being able to take off my nails with no damage, and pain, as possible and then gave me a beautiful gel manicure. Everyone was friendly and the place was super clean. Love Shellac Nails! It is the only place I go to get my nails done and I even drive to the opposite side of town just for my nails. Leon and Lily are friendly and professional. If I know my schedule I call ahead and make an appointment but don't mind waiting a little while if they are busy and I come as a walk-in as it's worth the wait. Leon and his wife, Lily are the dynamic duo here in Lawton! Relaxing atmosphere, and a pedicure that cannot be beat! They do meticulous, BEAUTIFUL work on your hands, and feet. You're given several options to customize your experience, i.e. Salt scrubs, scents, etc. And a cold soda to sit back and relax in their massage chairs (that seem fairly new, they aren't flattened and half working like others I've been in.) I am absolutely dying right now and so disgusted with this place after receiving "lash extensions"! First of all- I now know that they are in NO way qualified to do this procedure!! She never showed me anything or asked how I wanted them done, it assumed they were what I had done before. WRONG!! What she did was basically apply false lashes with super glue and ALOT of super glue!! My lashes look like a clown and feel plastic! Most horrific experience! I immediately drove home and tried to wash them off.... And I mean u tried everything! I then went to a PROFESSIONAL salon and they said that there was nothing they could really do for me and advised me to let time take its course as my eyelashes essentially had been covered in epoxy!! They were shocked by the job! My eye lids are swollen! They are painful and extremely uncomfortable, I don't know what I'm going to do. They should have never had the right to touch me in the first place when they didn't know what they were doing!! Also, the professional said they weren't even real eye lash extensions... I thought this place was fabulous! The employees are very nice and accommodating! I was in town visiting a friend; we thought it'd be fun to have a small bottle of champagne while catching up and getting mani/pedis. Much to our surprise, the owner was very accepting and provided us with cups. :) We both got shellac manis and matching pedis. I moved to Lawton in October 2012. Shellac Nails & Spa was my third try in finding a good place that does nails here. Since October, I have been a repeat customer. I love my 'american with gel tips'. So far I have also gotten a pedicure and my eyebrows done. Everyone that works there is professional and treats all customers well.
