Place is ok and appears clean. I just went to get my polish changed, as soon had days before gotten a manicure. This place is close to my job and so I gave it a try. I literally was asked 20 questions. Many of them repeated after I answered. No music and no sound on the one tv that was on, so the overly zealous question asking manicurist's questions were met with stares from the two other clients as it was deadly quiet.  It was uncomfortable that they wouldn't take no for an answer. Really disappointed. I was excited to go and get a pedi and try them out and realized my gift certificate had expired....it isn’t even close to a year of when it was issued! (Issued 5-1-17) Called and explained the situation and she said there was no way they could honor it. I made an appointment for 2pm today. I arrived, picked a color, and was seated into a pedicure chair. I sat waiting for 40 minutes without being seen. Walk ins we’re getting served, and the fact that I had an appointment obviously did not matter. Ive worked in the beauty industry and I know firsthand that no matter how busy you get, appointments come first. They aobviously don’t abide by that here. I made this appointment so I would have my nails done for New Year’s Eve, also my birthday, and I was left to sit there waiting for nearly an hour, feet in now cold water. They acted so surprised that I was getting up to leave after 40 minutes of no service when my appointment was almost an hour earlier. Why would I give my money to a business who can’t even see me on time cause they’re so conferenced with walk ins?Absolutely awful and dissatisfactory experience. Read Less

I'm pretty sure the equipment used to perform my pedicure was used on other feet and I was pretty grossed out. When I arrived I asked if they provide a plastic cover before they turned on the water. They told me no, so I figured what I was in for. I gave this place four stars because my feet literally felt like butter. Do NOT go here unless you would like an skin nail infection and absolutely zero customer service. I tried treating with neosporin but kept spreading to other nails and wouldn't clear up. I started going to this salon when it first opened and loved it but since Nina has left, this place has gone straight down hill! I sat there and watched 3 employees argue about doing my nails bc no one wanted to work! After this awkward 3-4 minutes passed the woman said to the other 2 employees "Fine! But you owe me!" Then seemed very shocked that I was aware of what was going on! I told them I didn't want to inconvenience them and left! It was tacky and unprofessional beyond words! I have had my acrylic nails on for less than a week and I am so disappointed in the quality and care I received from MOD. The man with the mustache that works there glued nail tips on that are too big for my nails. Kim didn't fix it and put too much acrylic on. Now they are chipped on the sides because they were not properly sized. This was low-quality, sloppy work. The man with the mustache also didn't push my cuticles down like another reviewer mentioned. I've been going here for years and I won't be back. I don't know if they're under new management or what, but it isn't the same friendly, high-quality place it used to be. No one bothers to introduce themselves or learn your name. Not even a year ago I'd go in and be greeted by name and walk out feeling like a million bucks. Amazing! The best place I've ever gotten my nails done. Everywhere else I go for gel manicure, I end up getting a thick sloppy job that comes off in a few days. These nail techs sure know what they're doing. The atmosphere is also incredibly quiet and tranquil.. I can't say enough good things--check this place out! Read Less

I love MOD Nails! I've been going there since July and I won't go anywhere else. They are so nice, pay attention to detail, and are very gentle on my hands which are very sensitive. I went to MOD for a pedicure. Start to finish- everything was perfect! Nina and her Staff are always friendly and they have by far the best chairs I've ever sat in.
