I've been going here every other week like clockwork since the week of Easter and I've never had a problem and my nails have always come out looking so good and exactly what I've asked for, until this past weekend. I went in to get a fill and new color but the very next day my thumb nail chipped and I was pretty upset then 2 days later another nail chips. Needless to say, I was pretty upset, but when I went it to see if they would fix them for me and they did with no questions or problems and they did it with no charge. I have been going to this salon for about 7 years. I used to live right by the salon but 3 years ago moved to downtown Tulsa. I still would make the drive just to see Mary. I always call to make sure she can see me. This last time I called to see if I could get a pedicure. The lady on the phone said yes head this way. She can see you in about 15 minutes ( when I could arrive). I arrived in about 10 minutes. When I got there she was working on someone else. I told the lady up front I was the one who called to see Mary, she told me ok, pick your color, she will be right with you. When I walked by, Mary didn't even look up. So I went to pick out a color, the same lady at the front came over to me and said Mary can't see you. Are you kidding me? I drive by many nail salons to come see Mary. I couldn't believe the lack in customer service. She couldn't even tell me herself and she wasn't even willing to give me a time frame when she would be done. She wanted me to see someone else? It made no sense. I always pay and tip her well. I'm super disappointed because Mary has been through it all with me, doing my nails for my wedding etc. I have decided to find another salon closer to home where I get better service. I have been coming here for years. Tina is awesome and does such an amazing job! It says something for a business when they not only remember you but remember your kids from when they were little and ask about them by name every time you go in (the youngest was 2 when I started going here --they will be 18, 21 and 24 this year!) I have gone to this salon for a few years now and had been happy. Until the last visit three weeks ago. I was given the most inexperienced pedicurist and the manicurist was mad at the world! This salon is conveniently located and I appreciate that they offer a punch card, but those two things don't outweigh the service recently. I've been going to this salon exclusively for a year and a half (since we moved to BA), but lately the service has been terrible. The person who starts your nails is never the person who finishes your nails. It's like whoever just walked in the door is more important than you, even though you're already in the chair halfway done. Everyone shuffles around and a new person is tasked to finish your nails without your consideration. I get very frustrated when a technician stops working on me halfway through just to start on someone else. They also are lacking cross-trained technicians. All the technicians have licenses, but for some reason they aren't all capable of doing all the basic nail services the salon offers. If you need acrylics you'll be waiting a long time because only two people can do that. Be prepared for the three people who walked in after you to be helped before you because they're just getting shellac. The space is clean and the staff are generally friendly, all though sometimes dismissive. Also, more than once I've had a technician completely stop-mid file- to check their cell phone. One technician even answered a personal phone call while she was filing my nails! Quite disrespectful when I'm paying for a service. I have been going their on and off for the past 5 years. it is one of the only nail salons I will go to. the are very friendly, and the rates are fair. and it is one out of 7 nail salons that I have been to that will actually do my nails how I want then and they don't try to tell me how to do them. I love my nails really long and they don't care, they don't try to tell me that is way to long and they won't do it them. Absolutely horrible!!!!!!!! I would do less stars if I could. I got my nails done TWO days ago with acrylic tips because I am in my sisters wedding this weekend. All of them lifted by the next day, 2 have fallen off, and 1 broke a tip off. I am not hard on my hands, and I have had acrylics for years. Never this bad! I do NOT recommend!!!! I came here as I was referred. I am sorry I even came. Here are my reason I rate them a 1 star and why I will never go back.1. Their pricing is crazy! $85 for a pedicure and manicure! At first it was a nice relaxing experience, but now they get in too much of a hurry and try to work on everyone at once. They set you in a chair and start to work on one finger then get distracted and leave you setting there for sometimes 20 minutes at a time. And their also not very clean anymore, but they do speak better English than most places and are friendly. Read Less
