Went into the salon last thursday to have a gel manicure and pedicure done here. The girl who did my pedi was great. The older lady that did my nails was not. The first problem i have is that the nail polish was not even put on my entire fingers which is clearly noticeable. The gel is supposed to stay on for 2 weeks but yet now, i have 2 nails without polish on them because it was not done right which is only a week later. Just a very sub par job by the nail tech which to me shows a lack of experience in the art. I have been a customer of luxury nails for the past year but now it's time for me to say something about the owner Lynn. Every time I come in she always tells me to pick a color quickly because she doesn't have time. I'm always being rushed and I feel like she's very rude. Wanted to treat myself to a spa pedicure service and also find a salon who does standing appointments. We were looking for a nail salon that had good reviews. Saw this salons' reviews and spontaneously decided to visit for services. We get to the salon and walk in the door and no one acknowledged us. We stood there for about 8 minutes at the front desk waiting patiently for someone to Welcome us. No one acknowledged us or said a word from their stations. I have been a nail tech for many years and know that customer service is the key to a successful business. There was clearly no concern for customer service here. As I was leaving I saw that they were to close in 25 minutes. If that was their reasoning why they didn't acknowledge us I am blown away by their reasoning. Not a proper way to handle your customers. The salon owner may want to get a handle on this. I would have loved to have written a good review as others have, however my experience with the salon doesn't merit one. I decided to go back a couple days later at a different time to give it one more go. Glad I did! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The service was quick and done well. I had an appointment and still had to wait for a bit but it was 10000% worth it!! Lyn (the owner) kept apologizing for the wait and was very considerate of my time. Kellee is the best! I've been getting my nails done by her for 9 years. She does amazing free hand designs. Anything you request, she can do. FYI, they are not just appointments only. They also take walk-ins. Read Less

Went there for a pedicure and a full set...huge mistake! They put my set on and then started my mani..she was in such a rush that she actually cut my toe!!!! Then the idiot proceeds to rub something with alcohol in it on the cut!!! It was torture!!! Not until I got in the car did I realize that my index finger was crooked ..it looked ridiculous! I Wish I could give this place no stars but I had to rate it. I waited 45 min to get a fill wasn't even acknowledged for most of it. The person I went with only wanted a pedicure and they took him right way and gave him an awful pedicure. Once he was done I didn't w ant to stay and the women asked if I would w ait 5 more min. they don't have enough people on probably their busiest day. I have never had a manicure, pedicure, or shellac last the way luxury nails does! Kim and Lynn always give the art work such a personal touch, I go in tell them where I'm going and they always come up with something original and stunning! Waste of money! A pedicure should take more than 15 minutes and that includes the time she left me sitting there to take Shelac off of a walk-in. I had called and made an appointment even! I would normally walk in too but thought being a Saturday it might be a good idea but I think she was afraid the walk in would leave so she left me halfway done in order to put the walk in into a position that she couldn't leave either. My pedicure was rushed, the massage chair was broken and I was treated like I was a bother instead of a client. I can paint my own toes, I get pedicures/manicures/massages to feel pampered!!!! Well let's get the location details out of the way first. This salon is located in a big shopping plaza with JC Penney and Buffalo Wild Wings. However, it's located in a smaller strip mall just in front of it but you have to turn into the shopping complex to get to it.As far as the salon itself goes, it was alright. I've had better. There wasn't much of a wait and this was late afternoon on a Friday (today as a matter of fact). The process seemed a little rushed and I have a feeling the other nail tech might have done a better job but she was already with someone. I came for a fill and I think including waiting the whole process took just over 30 minutes.  The tech seemed to rush over putting the nail polish on as the color is uneven and streaked on most of the nails.Why didn't I say anything? Because I'm just passing through so I'll deal for two weeks and get them done wherever I happen to at that time. For me, this was a shot in the dark, spur of the moment "I'm here in the area, let's see what nail salons are close by" time.
