Her husband is EXTREMELY rude. Not only impatient with me, but I've seen him this way with other patrons as well. Dont ask about prices or He gets PISSED. Quick to get you out the door and take your money. The woman who was doing a pedicure on another customer seemed nice, but the man who did my nails was not very personable. I asked for my nails to be shaped and for gel polish. I've never had more horrible looking nails in my entire life. Wide, uneven, crooked, slanted. THE WORST NAILS OF MY LIFE. Luckily I was able to file and shape them after I got home, but for 25 dollars plus tip?? Sooooo not worth it. Don't go there. DO NOT GO THERE! Read Less

Absolute horrible experience! I was rushed by two of the nail techs and there were only two customers being done!! My nails we the incorrect shape and length. Some of the acrylic was overlaying onto my skin, the design was not what I asked for and was very sloppy and I got a full set that they finished in less then 30 mins.. a full set takes close to an hour it was completely rushed and they charged me $70 do not waste your time or money! Horrible service! Man snapped his fingers at me and asked sharply "what are you getting?" I replied "gel" and he then pointed to a chair and snapped his fingers again. He then proceeded to scoff at my nails because they were chipping and kept telling me they were chipping. He treated me and my nails like they were and burden and made me feel extremely unwelcome. He didn't use and primer or base coat before applying only one layer of gel which he painted onto not only my nails but my skin as well. Didn't even try to clean it up because he was too busy watching Judge Judy to pay attention to my nails. He filed them after applying top coat scuffing up the gel and then pretending not to notice. Then had the nerve to charge me $25 dollars. I didn't leave a tip. I suppose the majority of it was my fault though. I walked into this salon for a fill and toe polish w/cutical clean up... when I walked in there was one manicurist finishing up a client (short dark haircut female) and one male manicurist sitting on the sofa on his laptop. They both looked up at me and continued with what they were occupied with. No one said hello, no one greeted me, no acknowledgment at all. I looked at both of them and said hello. I proceeded to speak to the male because he wasn't occupied with a customer. I asked him could i sign in since they appeared to not to want to take another customer. This was at 5:15PM TODAY, their sign reads closed at 7PM. He asked me, 'how can I help you?' Very disengaged. I said I only need a fill-in and my toes polished with a cuticle clean-up. he said youd have to get a pedicure to get your cuticles cleaned up and I don't have time for a pedicure. I said usually my toes just get painted and they clean my cuticles as needed, it really doesn't require a pedicure. I did not need a pedicure because I just had one a week ago. His reply was 'go where you usually go where you are happy'. I'm not sure if I was a victim of racial discrimination or if he is just a downright rude arrogant ass short Asian. I am new to the area, and didn't have time to drive to my normal salon. I will continue to express and share my experience there, hopefully people are aware especially black women and don't and won't patronize this particular salon. His tone actions and responses were down right rude and disrespectful and very disheartening that is all I have to say about that pigsty. Read Less

Absolutely a rip off, I was told a French tip mani and Pedi would be 58$ It was a little more than usual,but I tried them, worst French tips and pedicure I've ever had. Lines were terrible. I was then told halfway through, it would cost extra for French tips- which comes on all other nail sets. Ended up spending $76.00 for a mani Pedi and two days later they look terrible. Read Less

Their okay. I got a full set of white tip nails for my wedding with a pedicure. It was my first pedicure ever so for me it was nice. Everything the lady kept using on me was extra money though and I couldn't tell if she was really trying to explain that or not. We had a nice conversation while she was doing it and she was friendly. A guy that was sitting on the couch watching TV got up and did my nails. He wasn't that talkative but I can care less to small talk with people anyhow so I didn't mind. Then another girl who looked to be in high school came over and did finishing touches. She was nice too. I was happy with my nails. They were thick and sturdy the way I like them. Eventually they did turn a little discolored but that expected after having them for 3 weeks and tanning with them exposed. Overall I was happy but I'm not sure if I would go back since I spent way more than I had anticipated and they apparently charge you extra if you don't pay with cash which pissed me off. Read Less

K nails will not fix their work for free. 2 of my nails broke after 1 day and when I went back to get them repaired Twan and Kim wanted to charge $3 per nail to fix.  This is not good customer service practice and Twan was quite rude about it.  Will not be returning to K nails. Read Less

My family and I have been loyal customers to K's Nail since it's open and all five of us know for a fact we'll never go anywhere else. Being that we've been with them for a long time we've seen many situations that occur. These people are friendly and would NEVER, refuse a service to anyone if it's offered at their salon. I myself am Italian and Irish and U find it very sterotypical that the first comment voice these people as people who can't speak english well. Also, anytime I've seen them refuse a service it's always been for a good reason. Other customers and I even applaud them for standing up for themselves.  have we forgotten that customers aren't always civil and polite themselves? I find the first comment to be false. My mother is 80 and ill as well. NOT ONCE, have they ever disrespected her. If anything they take extra care if her, helping her walk, put her socks on, and are extremely patient. Let me tell you, my mother's illness makes her very difficult to deal with. Also, they are VERY CLEAN! I ALWAYS see them cleaning their pedicure tubs and instruments. I've also never come across any problems with my nails. My nails always last till my next fill which says a lot considering my hands are constantly in water. My oldest son was getting married this summer and my 77 year old mother, with onset dementia, needed her nails done for the wedding. Also, I'm a mental health nurse for the state of Ohio, so I thoroughly understand the importance of sanitation. When I brought my mother up to K's Nails, I was on a phone call, so let my mother enter the shop before me, after helping her out of my car with her walker and oxygen, to check in. So, I do not believe the shop knew my mother was with someone, or I doubt they would have treated her the way she was. Moments after my mother put her name in, I came in and sat down. My mother was called up shortly, and directed to a seat, while I was reading a magazine. A few minutes later, I heard the nail person raising her voice. My mother was asking for Gel Nails, the tech said , "No Gel. Gel polish only." my mother said she didn't want gel polish, she wanted Gel nails". Escalating, the tech said, "I said! NO! Gel! Nails!, Gel polish, only!!!", and abruptly got up from the work station, called someone on the list and directed them to another chair someone had just vacated. My mother was sitting, thinking about if she wanted gel polish, when the tech started working on the person she just seated, and began working on them with the dirty implements from the prior customer. At which point, my mother said to the women, I guess I'll get gel. The woman was ignoring her, so my mother said, excuse me, are you going to work on my nails? and the woman stood up, pointed to the door, and started yelling at my mother, "GET OUT! YOU TOO SLOW!! iF YOU DON'T GET OUT RIGHT NOW,  I'M CALLING THE POLICE!!!' It all happened in the space of a few moments, at which point, I jumped up and was by my mother's side. When the woman realized my mother was accompanied by someone, she shut her mouth. I had a few words with her before helped my mother out the door. Everyone in the waiting area was shocked to witness this.  I will never have a good word for these @ss-wipes. Do yourself a favor. Any place that doesn't do gel nails isn't worth going to, on it's own. But to treat a disabled elderly person this way is just atrocious! If I could have given a (-) star, I would have. Read Less

Service was terrible ..only one in the nail salon an they rushed through me. When I tried to get th to fix my polish because they did a sloppy polish job ..I got yelled and cursed at ..worst experience ever..I really don't see how there still open ..but maybe that's why the were empty because there customer service was terrible. The people that work here are very nice and the shop is clean, but my nails came out sloppy and unattractive, I got gel nails and she didn't even put any oil on my cuticles or did she ask me to wash my hands b4 applying the uv gel or polish so my nails looked really ashy and rough, I also asked for square tips and they are uneven . Even tho the people were very nice I'm not sure if that's enough for me to come back, I had to put more work into my nails after leaving the shop. Read Less
