NEVER AGAIN. My nails were terrible. I wish I knew how to post a picture. I was there a few weeks ago for a mani and pedi. A woman named Terry, or at least she sat at that station on the end, did a terrible job. Also, a couple days later I started getting little bumps/a skin rash all over my hands a feet. This was my first time there. I will never go back. I even went to the hospital for those bumps. They were only on my hands and feet so I’m positive it was from that place. I asked them to give me a full set that's coffin shaped. When given the nail tech I asked again if she knew how to do coffin & she said yes it would be 10$ extra and below is a photo of what I wanted shape was and what I recieved. I paid before the polish was on so I couldn't really tell the shape. It wasn't until I was sitting under the dryer that I realized how terrible they were. BUT I am not a complainer and didn't want t hurt the girls feelings so I've been letting it go. It's been about 10 days & guess what acrylic is chipping from the sides of almost every nail, the polish is chipping & peeling off so at that point I'm annoyed bc I'm a mother & that's 50$ wasted. So today I called & asked to speak to the manager & guess what his solution was. To tell me not once but THREE TIMES that "it doesn't make sense to wait 10 days" "it's common sense" & "you have no common sense" so then after telling me that 3 different times he THEN wants to offer me a free fill knowing damn well I won't wanna step foot in there again after being told I have no common sense. I'm not exactly sure why I've been sitting here for more than 30 minutes but they have also taken 5 people ahead of me. Maybe they do not know how to lay acrylic and instead of just saying so, they would rather stare at me awkwardly. I've been here twice before for emergency fixes as a last result. I am not a super picky person when it comes to my nails except i enjoy a relaxing leg and foot rub, i went here with my gf as a alternative since my shop was fully booked... We sat together however the guy rushed through my pedicure and massage, very hard rubbing and quick. Then when It came to my hands he seemed bothered that i was even there. He left a space between my nail and cuticle so the shelf life of my manicure was already grown out by the next week... i wasn't impressed before and will never go back... Read Less

Terrible! My gel polish lifted after 3 days so I went back for a fix and Kevin made it out to be my fault and said he wouldn't fix them again. I said Ok! I won't be coming back if it happens again! Sure enough after they fixed my nails the gel started lifting before one week was up!! Waste of my money! Read Less

I've been coming to this establishment for many many years. If it wasn't for the nail tech I go to, that is super sweet, I would never go back! WASTE OF MY MONEY!!!!!!! I went in to get a fill in because they were open on Sunday. My nails shape was ruined the polish job was horrible I'm upset because I tipped $6 before I got them polished. I informed the lady polishing my nails that could see streaks so kept adding coats. She barely put any clear on so after only 4 days my nails are coming off and dull. Today was the worst experience I've ever had getting a manicure & shellac. Usually I either use Raun Hairdressers in Willoughby or Vince Neil Salon at Legacy, and I'm happy to pay more because I know I'll get consistent and outstanding results every time. I haven't used Nail Lacquer in two years because I haven't once left this nail spa without complaining or being somewhat unhappy with my nails. Today I was going to an event unexpectedly and didn't have time to drive out to Legacy and Rauns was booked, so I gave Nail Lacquer a shot. BIG MISTAKE!!! I was presented with what I would say over a hundred color choices, and there was not even one lavender color in shellac... So I chose a color I wasn't happy with. The technician saw I wasn't happy with the selection but didn't offer to let me try a couple different ones before deciding. What he did do is be visibly annoyed that I was hesitating to make a choice. Based on his pressure I chose a color I didn't really want. It's fine the color wasn't my first choice for tonight's event but I could make it work for the next couple of weeks. He proceed to give me a bad manicure, filing my nails and cutting cuticles... I was caught up watching TV while he worked on my nails. I walked in with fresh, clean nails, that haven't had any shellac in weeks. I was letting them recover. I then look at the finished nails and each of them looked terrible, the shellac was bleeding in Into the cuticles, that he cut off... Didn't push them in, it ran into the sides of the nail beds and there was visible skin sticking out from under the nails and sides... I was horrified. At this point I was ushered to pay and I complained. The manager was very kind and offered to fix it but I didn't trust them to redo the shellac a second time and I didn't have time to get it done a second time. I asked for it to be removed and just a regular paint job. He sends me back to the same rep, he was so rough taking off the shellac, he ripped my nail beds I spent weeks grow out... And then made my thumb bleed... BLEED! I asked for him to stop and someone else finish. A lady came and started to prep my nails to pain them. I found the color in regular nail polish and she proceeded to superglue my thumb and paint the nails. When she was done I went to dry my nails. After they dried to my horror the nails looked terrible... The nail color was watered down by a paint thinner so bad that the top coat was half on half off... I felt tears in my eyes because I was out of time and my nails looked terrible, I wouldn't believe how bad this entire experience was and I had several of my fingers hurting because he cut to deep into my cuticles. The only reason this is getting one star is because the manager didn't make me pay. I would never ever return, I'd rather have my 8 year old son pint my nails than come back here. Read Less

I always go here for my manicures, pedicures, shellac and anything else nail related.  Weekends are hectic and there is usually a long wait.  They do open doors a few minutes early which is nice for those who go early. Weekdays are much better if you have a tight schedule. Prices are decent. The have a lot of staff usually. Read Less

I chose this place because of all the beaming reviews, what a mistake. I knew they didn't take reservations going in, but from what I read the wait time want so bad. I walked in and can see there are more than enough stations, I'm told the wait would be 15 min, 45 minutes later I am taken to a station. Before this, 5 employees go to their stations, instead of talking one of 4 customers waiting, they talk amongst themselves, text, play on their phones, I watched one employee clean out her purse for 15 minutes, grab her phone and walk away? I'm taken to my chair, instead of starting my nails the nail tech answers a phone call on his personal call, 10 minutes later he starts my nails. Rudest man ever never spoke a word, and would answer questions with one word answers, personality of a door knob. Half way through my nails, everybody stops working and rifles through their drawers, pockets, purses for money for Lotto? What a clown show! 3 days into having my nails done, the polish is already coming off? $40 for 3 days worth of staying power? Have been coming here for over 10 years. Always walk right in for a pedi and service was quick and efficient! I rarely ever have to wait as they have plenty of staff on to accommodate the flow of traffic when I visit. Prices are affordable and service is good! Highly recommend. Read Less

The salon was dirty, they don't use new packs of nail clippers or cuticle clippers etc. The floor was dirty & they just opened. The trash can he used by the water basin was gross. My pedicure was terrible i could have done a better job. Maybe I am spoiled from Houston. Read Less

First and last time. Very dirty the towels they used had people's nails and dirt on them when beginning my treatment. They have 2 kinds of pedicures. They charged me for the most expensive one because I didn't clarify on the sign in sheet which one I wanted. The man sitting at the desk didn't clarify this for me. They tried to tell me if you wanted express you needed to say it. There wasn't one other person on the sheet that clarified express or spa. This is a nice nail shop that is open on Sundays and do a really good job Manis and pedis shellac gel fills you name it they do it. They recently redecorated the shop so all of their chairs are brand-new and it's very professional there sometimes you have to wait but you can always write your name in see how long it's going to be then come back. It only gets 4 stars bc they don't accept appointments, walk ins only. But the service was amazing and professional. The salonIs a good size and the light from the multiple front windows made it seem very spacious. The massage chairs for pedis are sooo nice. New to the area and visited today. The salon is very clean and can handle a large volume of customers! I went in at 5:30p and got a pedicure & a gel manicure and left by 7:30p! I looked online and then drove around Mentor on a Sunday, looking for a nail salon.  Is it a sin to open on a Sunday?  I found Nail Lacquer late in the afternoon via my smart phone and went over right away.  Very pleased with the service.  I got purple shellac that has lasted about a month.  If Mentor nail salons are listening, this place had a booming business that you are missing out on. The place sucks ...nails crooked and uneven than when I said something they told me it was because of natural nails ...than to top that off my nail art looks like teenagers practiced on each other...when I left I wanted to cry I was so looking forward to pretty nails..  very unhappy! Read Less

Decided to get a mani/pedi on a whim one Sunday afternoon and this is close so I went. I had a great pedi by Nick, who convinced me to try to shellac again. I was highly impressed with his meticulous attention to detail...he took off an entire hand after the first color coat of shellac because he said it look streaky (I didn't notice anything and I am particular about those sorts of things). It was really busy, but they had enough technicians that it wasn't too long of a wait. Everything was opened in front of me, sanitized, etc. They could use more OPI nail color options - I wanted to purchase the color I used and they didn't have it and the bottles they did have available were collecting dust...other than that, I'd go back.
