Dodgy offers and not great service. 2U Beauty were advertising on facebook for ‘gel application for £20 and free removal’. I phoned and made an appointment to ‘remove shellac and put gel on’ and stated that I’d seen the offer on Facebook. then the lady phoned back and said she’d looked at the wrong day and could i change it (easy mistake, not an issue). During my appointment I explained that my nails had previously been damaged and when I had them done before I had wanted s...hellac but the nail technician had put gel on some of the nails to protect them. Throughout the appointment the lady doing my nails spoke in Chinese to the other beauticians, i had no idea what was going on as they were all looking at my nails. Then one of them asked me what was on my nails, despite me having already explained. She seemed to be having trouble removing it and then just filed my nail right down removing any layer that had grown back from the previous damage. The lady was speaking in Chinese and showing her colleagues my nails and this made me feel very embarrassed and self conscious. I then went to pay and was charged £31. I said that the offer on facebook said £20 and I’d stated that when I booked. So then I’m told it’s £25... because I had gel and shellac (which they moved in exactly same way). Then there was some more Chinese chatter and she told me actually it’s only free when I go back to get removed the work that they’ve done. I paid up and left, already absolutely mortified. Five-star service every time. Lynette is very skilled and takes her work very serious. Never filled rushed and rarely a wait to be seen. If there is a wait it's usually just 10 minutes or so. She doesn't use tips all of her acrylic nails are sculpted. I wish she had color acrylic but I get gel polish wish helps speeds up my appointments. Show her just about any nail art image and she can replicate without any issue. Very professional with beverages available. tv for entertainment and clean work space. I have bought two Groupon vouchers .. one to get a shellac pedicure which was brilliant, was back in June. Stayed on 3 weeks even with being in the pool etc I got a manicure shellac done last week and within 5/6 days I had chipped nails and one was completely gone. I returned to rectify this ( with no charge ) but today, ( the day after fixing my 4 faulty nails ) I'm back to having another nail that's falling off. Have to add that I felt uncomfortable where everyone spoke ...around you in what I presume is Chinese .. others who where native got offered tea coffee or water but me nothing I won't be coming back .. what was meant to be a treat was a disappointment See More Read Less

The colour I chose for my pedicure had ran out so I hastily chose another one, I'm quite happy with it though & feel it was done properly. I had lvl lashes done and this took one hour! I've had them done elsewhere in the past and it's took a maximum of half an hour…the therapist left the room without saying a word then returned what felt like over 5mins later without a word! This is an uncomfortable feeling when your eyes are closed and unable to open! She should've been communicative and made me feel comfortable and kept me informed, that way I wouldn't have had to ask how much longer my treatment was going to take. Went in for a chinese massage yesterday with a friend. The staff literally did not speak to us....rather pointed in the direction of the room. Once in, the staff proceeded to chat amongst themselves in Chinese (presumably) laughing as we received our 30 minute massage!! Luckily neither me or my friend are self conscious...but I would not recommend it if you are! The massage was ok. But staff were extremely unwelcoming. Read Less
