I was in town for a visit and was looking for a nice place to get pedicures with a friend. I knew that I wanted a nicer salon and spa, not a quick nail spot. The Crocker Park website didn't give me as many options as I expected and Head Quarters definitely seemed like the most quality option in the area.Since my friend and I were together to catch up I booked us both for the Aveda Spa Pedicure. On the Aveda website this was listed as a one hour service. Catching up with a friend calls for the longest and most luxurious available services.We arrived a few minutes early and filled out our paperwork. The receptionist offered us water and it looked like tea was available as well. After a short wait our technicians arrived and took us back to the nail room. We picked out polish colors and settled in for some pampering.The services were great. Our technicians were friendly and our nails looked great at the end. The Aveda products smell really good and the lovely scent lingered all day. Our pedicures provided that relaxing time to catch up. The only negative was that the service that was listed as 60 minutes came out to 45 minutes. Horrible experience! Made an appointment for a cut and color. Stylist was 10 min late. Ok it happens. She keeps looking to see how long til her next appointment. She told me how many steps it was going to take to do highlights in my hair. That I really didn't know what I wanted. With my kind of hair that style won't work. I have been looking for a certain cut for a while. I've been to several other salons and no one could do what I was asking. First time here, Kaylie cut it EXACTLY how I wanted it. Hands down the best place around NEO to have your hair done.  Eliot does my hair.  He's a gifted stylist and it's a pleasure to be his client.  The front desk staff are always pleasant.  They religiously confirm your appointment via text, email and maybe they call too. Depending on the time of your appointment you can get a parking spot right in front of the store, if not you can park in the garage but allow 5-7 mins to walk from the garage.  I'm always offered coffee, tea or water upon arrival, they hang your coat, purse or bag up and they are conscientious about your clothing and have you change if needed so nothing gets stained by hAir color.  I wear glasses and they even protect the stems with plastic or foil.  They are sure to book your next appointment before you leave which is wonderful so you don't need to try and call later. I will never be back to this salon. I came in for a basic haircut, and I asked for a trim all around, with my bangs an inch below my chin and to keep the "V" shape to the back. At the salon i noticed she cut off at least an inch more than i asked, but i didn't say anything because i figured it wasn't worth it and its not like she could take it back. It wasn't until i got home that my roommate asked why my hair is so uneven. I looked in the mirror and the left side of my bangs were at least an inch shorter than the right side!! Huge difference! And its not like my hair was parted a different way while cutting. I asked for it to be parted down the center and cut like that because that's how i wear it. So now my left side starts an inch ABOVE my chin, and my right side starts at my chin! I look absolutely ridiculous. I cannot believe i didn't inspect her cut more after she did it. So now i have to wear ponytails until my hair is long enough to be fixed. I am seriously sick to my stomach over this. I will never be back nor recommend your salon. Read Less

I have been going to Headquarters for about a year now and I love it! I currently see Ashley and she is great. She really helps me to achieve the look I'm going for with my hair. Previously I saw Elliott and he was also great! I went in telling him I wanted to be AS BLONDE AS POSSIBLE an he made it happen! Let me first say that my hair dresser was great. I liked her and she did a good job. My problem with this salon was the price. Most Aveda salons are non tipping so the price includes a tip for the hair dresser. This salon was not one of those salons. Normally that would still be okay with me except their prices were just as high if not higher than other TIPPING aveda salons.My trim cost $40, my highlight cost $100, and then I was charged $35 for toner. So in total it was $175 plus tax then added tip. I've always gone to an Aveda salon and never have I paid that much. Aveda at Casals and Rometrics included tip and were lower than $150 for same service. Price does matter to me so this will be my first and last time to go to this salon. I, like most Americans don't have $200+ to shell out every 4-6 weeks just for hair. Read Less

I purchased large bottles of shampoo few weeks back,  they did not give me a pump which they usually do. I stopped by a few times and every time I was told that week's shipping did not have pumps. I went here today while in town visiting family nearby. (I live in the NYC area and needed a root touch-up.) Katianne did my color and she did a fantastic job! I liked the upscale but comfortable atmosphere and everyone working there went out of their way to be polite and friendly. I never felt ushered from station to station like in some salons. I was staying town for my best gal pals wedding. Had no plans of getting my hair done but another bridesmaid suggested HeadQuarters. I called them less than 24 before the wedding and they got me in no problem! Sweet! Showed up and was seated with a cup of joe immediately. I had no plans for how my hair should look so I pretty much let my stylist do whatever she wanted. With the creative freedom granted, my stylist (whose name I dreadfully forget) gave me hands down, the best undo I've ever had! I received compliments all night long. In short, the salon smells amazing (duh, it's an Aveda salon), the stylist and staff are genuinely friendly and there's definitely a lot of talent! I had to get my hair just styled for a wedding on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.  I was staying close by to here, called and made an appointment.  I just needed my hair washed, blown out, and flat ironed.  With the thickness of my hair, and my lack of experience, this takes me about 90 minutes to do.  I went to Rose, a junior stylist, and it took her 45 minutes or maybe a bit less and it only cost $21!  Yes!  I looked and felt great while also scoring a great value. I was not treated any "differently" for being a Groupon customer like I thought I might be.  My stylist was Angela.  She was very friendly and easy to talk to. Pretty good service and you become attached to your stylist quickly, I know I am!  The services have 3 ranges based on the experience of your stylist.  But for spa services there is one base price.  Some of the services are quite expensive and some are really good deals.  It also helps if you go during promotions when you can get 3 services for 75.00: hair highlights (10 foils), cut, and a wax ( i think that's the services they offer with it).  The facials made me break out and red so I won't do that again.  Also, sometimes the eyebrow wax irritates my skin around there.  The pedi and manicures are quite enjoyable; however, they have a limited color selection.  The only services I would really recommend is hair coloring/highlighting, shampoos and cuts.
