Rude manicurist. Not personable at all. I should have left when I saw how junky the salon is. Stuff pilled up on a massage chair next to tables? Like there's no backroom to throw things?She called the other tech over and said something in their native language. The only thing I could make out was white tips and longer. Based on her tone I'm pretty sure she was complaining about my request. Even if she wasn't, I should never have a reason to assume you're speaking poorly of me when I'm the paying customer.Without saying excuse me, she got up to answer a text message in the middle of doing my nails. I usually don't complain about people taking a moment to answer their phone but all things given....And she was extremely rough. She kept jerked my hands around and filing like it was the end of the world. My thumbs were actually burning for a while and today my nail beds are so sore that while doing laundry a tshirt I picked up caused me to wince in pain.I will NEVER be back. Read Less

My friends parents own this place and I love it. Her parents are so nice and my friend and I came in to meet up with the friend whose parents own it. One of my friends had emojis drawn on her nails........EMOJIS!!!!!!! The nail art looked great and my nails didn't chip for weeks! defiantly recommend this place :) Read Less

If I could give it zero stars I would! I understand I came at an hour and 15 minutes before you closed and I might not be able to get a walk in appointment, but the service I received when you guys said no was so rude!! If you guys weren't open in a tourist destination where customers come and go, I highly doubt you'd have regular customers!! So disgusted! As is my partner and the other customer behind me!! Quite possibly the worst nail salon I have ever been to and I have been getting my nails for 13 years. I stopped in to get a balance a couple weeks ago and some of the nails techs were asleep when I walked in and stayed that way until I left. When I asked for my nails to be shaped square the lady rounded them, actually some of them were half round and half square. They were completely uneven and raised. She even drilled down into my nail bed. There weren't even nail swatches for the gel colors so I had to basically guess the color I wanted while the nail tech stood over my shoulder rushing me. Talk about uncomfortable. I went to my original salon to have my nails balanced today and Sunny Nails did such a horrible job that I had to have all but two of my acrylics removed. This is about the slowest most overpriced place I've ever been too! I get gel pedicures every two weeks and it takes at most 1.5 hours and that's a real spa pedicure not a regular one disguised in a description as a spa with 20 minute massage, cuticle remover and all. This place is great! Prices are reasonable and I've always had a good experience. Staff is SO nice and friendly. My finger nails are usually destroyed before coming in (I bite and pick at them) and the nail techs always take care of them in a quick and pain-free manner, and without making any snide comments about the state of my nails (which I've often gotten from other places). I also have VERY small nails (some places have told me my nail beds are the size of a child's) and I've never had any issues in getting a good full set of acrylics from this place. This place has a very comfortable vibe to it when you walk in.  Men like to pamper themselves from time to time and I have been looking for a place to go to with decent pricing and I found my place.  I got the regular pedicure which was $30 and well worth the money spent.  Overall...give this place a chance and I'm sure you will enjoy their services.  Today was my first of many visits at this location. Love this place! Have been going here since I moved to Columbus a few years ago--I will not go other places. I grew up in the Washington D.C area--so I know high quality nail salon's when I see them. I have tried other salon's in Columbus since moving here and they are no where near the quality of this salon. The staff is friendly and I have never had a bad experience! I always walk in--never need an appointment and they get to me right away, even if they are busy. They even remember me every time I go in, even if its been a few months...highly recommended! I have been going to Sunny Nails for a couple years now mainly for pedicures and have had such an inconsistent experience each time I go depending on which nail technician I get. I have had really amazing experiences where I am served white wine and receive a pedicure where I get a 10 min massage of my feet & calves and become so relaxed I fall asleep in the chair. I usually get the spa pedicure where they dip your feet in hot wax which makes them extra soft. I went yesterday evening hoping for that kind of experience. Instead I actually had a painful, extremely unpleasant experience. I walked in & asked for a spa pedicure & a manicure which I repeated twice. Instead I received the most rushed, painful pedicure I have ever gotten. The technician I had was so rough especially when she was trimming my cuticles. She made me bleed on my big toe & a little on my index finger. The massage part of the pedicure was pretty much non-existent. There was no offer of a beverage of any kind. The whole time she seamed extremely annoyed and disinterested- like she hates her job. In the past I have had some other not so stellar experiences but yesterday was definitely the worst and even though the location is extremely convenient for me I will probably not go back! This place could be so great if everyone who worked there could be consistent in giving the patrons the really wonderful, pleasant experience that I know some of the technicians there are capable of doing.
