I am not one to typically write reviews, whether I am extremely happy or unhappy, but I had to write a review because I am so unhappy with my experience today at this place. The first time I went, which was a few years ago, it was a great experience! The salon seemed clean and the woman who did my pedicure did a fantastic job. I also treated my sister and my mom to a pedicure and they were happy too. That same year, I asked my husband for a gift certificate from there so I could get a pedicure before our 10 yr. wedding anniversary trip. I made an appointment for a day or two before we were to leave and the salon cancelled because the nail technician I was scheduled with called in sick. I explained my situation and they made no offer to try and get me in, so I had to scramble and find another place last minute. Fast forward to a few years later. I decided to finally go and use the gift certificate and to also treat my sister to a pedicure for her birthday. We both got the deluxe pedicure, which is $45. Her technician made rude comments about her feet. Also, because I chose a color by Essie, i had to pay $3 more. When I went to pay, using my gift card, and to pay the balance with a credit card, they said that because the salon was under new management and the gift card was purchased a while ago, it was only worth $10. My husband had purchased a gift card for $50. I expressed dissatisfaction, but didn't want to cause a scene. Essentially, the pedicure was $45 and since they didn't honor the gift card for the full amount, I essentially paid $85, plus an extra $3 for Essie brand. When I got home and looked closer at my pedicure and saw how sub-par the finish of my pedicure is, that was the last straw and what caused me to take the time to post this review. I’ve been to Lush multiple times with my daughter and the experience has been fabulous! Vaughn and Vivian are so nice and absolute perfectionists! Prices are fair and the salon itself is very clean and new. Plus you can bring wine in from the bar next door! They always care about the customer experience and go a long way to make sure you leave happy. Read Less

I've gone here twice and not pleased at all, the first time I went I was with a friend and it was a Sunday we walked right in the place was clean and staff was friendly but the guy who did my nails(Ken) rushed through half of my pink and white set and pushed me to some woman to finish my set so he could start my friends manicure I figured ok they are busy I'll just deal and understand but my nails came out uneven and just not what I wanted especially spending that much money. I decided a week ago to give them another shot because I needed a balance. They had the same tech Ken do my nails because I guess they all don't know how to do a pink and white set and again he rushed through to help another client he did finish my set this time but again they are uneven and not what I should of gotten for the price! Will not recommend to anyone I will be finding a new salon so I can at least get what I want with the quality I'm paying for! I'd give them 0 stars if I could! I called somewhat last minute looking to schedule two manicures. The person who answered was very helpful and made the schedule work to accommodate us. I came in with a very specific idea in mind and my nail tech, John, was very helpful in working through different ideas that would get me what I was looking for. John was very friendly and easy to talk to. During the manicure he was very willing to try a couple different ideas until we found something I loved. I have been to Lush a couple of times now...my first experience was fabulous. Nail balance was absolutely perfect! My last visit on 11/4 was "okay". I had a different technician and specifically asked multiple times that my new set of acrylics be as thin as possible but they aren't. I just hate fat thick nails. Meh.  I give 3 stars because of the friendly staff.  My gel pedicure turned out ok but I'm also not examining my toenail polish as much as my nails. I did the gel manicure as well.  My nails was honestly a quick soak and nail file/trim, then she finished my pedicure.  After pedicure she did the polish for my nails.  I left with paint on my cuticles and one nail already chipped 1 day later.  I would consider this an "ok" job had it been less pricey.  But since I paid $107 with tip  I expect my nails/feet to look exceptional.  It looks like I did them myself. **See image of nail job. I would rate this establishment at 0 if I were able to.I received a gel manicure and pedicure, within 8 days my gel polish came off completely. My nails are so weak.I returned to ask what they would do to fix this and was told to sit and wait until they had time. I sat for a while, but I had to leave. The next day I called to see when would be a better time, they told me to come in the next day at noon. I arrived and sat for an hour and I  left because they didn't want to fix this. First time here. Got right in for a pedicure at 11a on Sunday. Love that they're open on Sunday's! Very modern atmosphere, clean tools, not in a rush to do my toes although I was one of two people in here. $35 for a regular pedicure, pretty standard. No complaints. Will definitely be back! The staff are very friendly; however the person doing my nails was not very good. In fact he laughed about his inability to polish nails when he began there. I got a gel manicure. It was very bumpy, uneven and sloppy looking. The tech had to try to file down the edges where it ran. They looked awful. Will not go back. Read Less

I have been here before with a bridal party and our nails turned out great, lasted longer than expected, and the girls were amazing! A friend and I returned last week hoping to have the same experience... we felt rushed-even with being the only 2 in the salon, my guy switched mid manicure to go help someone else, and the staff was talking to another employee via speaker phone about how they hadn't shown up for their shift. On top of that, my gel manicure was sloppy and peeled off within 5 days. A week later, I have no polish on my nails and out $45. A positive note, my nails aren't ruined from gel polish this time. :/ Very disappointed from this experience- wondering if management changed in the past year. Will not be back! Read Less

I have been here several times in the past. Nia used to be who I requested and she was really great, but when Nia was not available I've always left the salon feeling very underwhelmed. Today, however will be my last time at this salon because of the gel manicure that I received. The girl who did my nails asked if I wanted a nail trim and/or to make my nails a uniform length. I told her to please just make them as even as possible.  She then proceeded to take off all of my nails down to the quick. After that, her gel polish application was very sloppy with polish all in my cuticles as well as on my skin. The polish was globbed on, making my already incredibly short nails looks rounded (not what I was going for!). I wish I had just stayed home and done my own nails. Read Less

Go to this salon if you want: - terrible customer service - broke nails every trip of getting serviced - nasty restroom experience - overrated high priced services - horrible nail quality products Honestly, I've never been to a nail salon as triflin as this one. My initial visit was recommended to me by a friend. My nail broke within 4 days mind you my career is behind a desk I'm not ruff with my nails. The next trip I went back to get a balance thinking it was jus a mishap. NO! My nails broke again within 5 days. The owner told me "if you get long acrylic nails they will break" this is UNTRUE. She clearly didn't care about what I was saying nor what I wanted. Anytime I ever get acrylic nails I've never gotten short nails only medium length or longer and they've never broke EVER. To prove it my sister also went to this same salon and got short acrylic almond nails her nails broke twice upon her visit. This place, or at least the guy who did my nails, does not no how to do gel manis. Mine consisted of 2 layers of base, 3 layers of polish, and 2 layers of top coat. 7 layers???  They were uneven, lumpy, bumpy, and some sides were so thick it looked like one of those bubble manicures, but lopsided.  Also, the lights were not timed, which they are supposed to be. So my hands were under those hot UV lights for a total of 15 minutes. Well, when you have to go under them 7 times it ends up being way too much exposure. It looked god awful.  After a few days I had to remove it. I do my own nails a lot and remove salon gel by myself often. Whereas I typically soak in pure acetone for 12 minutes, this manicure took over 40 minutes to soak off. I attribute that to the 7 layers as well. This was the worst gel mani I've ever had. I will never step in here again and would advise anyone who is considering going here for a gel mani to run as fast as you can to another salon. Read Less

Website pricing is out of date, no one responds to messages.  Not clean, hate putting my hands under the lights as those cubbies are filthy, pricey - everything is ala carte priced.  If you are a LA Fitness member, you get 10% off, but only on one priced item.  Tyson gave a wonderful manicure, but Tyson is now gone.  Had services from other techs and they had an attitude, ignored me, etc... This was my first time going to Lush and it was really a great experience! I took my 6-year old as a reward for good behavior and she received the Princess Mani & Pedi and I received the lush pedi. My pedicure was so relaxing and my daughter couldn't stop taking about her mani & pedi.  We will be back very soon! Read Less

I recently made an appointment for pedicures for myself and a friend. Shortly after the pedicure started, the ladies doing our nails started talking badly about another employee. The conversation lasted the duration of our pedicures. I never mind if the employees talk to each other, but to be talking about another employee in front of customers is just unprofessional. When it first started my friend and I were both messing around on our phones, so maybe they thought we weren't listening? Regardless it was very awkward for us. Towards the end of the pedicure my friend asked if they were busy the rest of the evening. (She had decided she wanted to get a very basic mani... Trim her cuticles and regular nail polish. Nothing fancy.) She was told that they were very busy. However, at that time there was only one other customer besides our selves and we were just about done with our pedicures. A few minutes later she asked if it was even possible to get a quick mani. She was again told they couldn't. When our pedicures were done and we were sitting at the drying bar, I could hear the lady that did my friends nails saying " I don't have time for a manicure...". Shortly after the lady that did my nails came over and told my friend that she would be able to do her nails. I understand that the lady doing my friends nails may have been busy, but she shouldn't have rejected her twice, there may have been another employee that could do it. she could have simply said " let me check our availability and I will let you know." It just didn't sit well with me. Overall, my pedicure was great! I have gotten a gel mani in the past and loved it. Had it not been for the ladies talking about co-workers and my friend having such difficulty to get a quick mani, I would have given 5 stars. I LOVE getting my nails done at Lush. The place is always clean, and everyone is always very friendly! My mom and I came in on a Saturday without an appointment and even though they couldn't accommodate us they gave us discount cards, which I thought was great! They did not use a base coat, which I thought was standard. My polish chipped within the day and was peeling the next. I called them to give them a chance to explain themselves. They didn't apologize. They said the base coat was a manicurist preference and that you had to ask for it. I asked for the manager and was told that I would recieve a call the next day. Clean, they only speak English, nice pedicure. They definitely take their time. If you're looking to get in and out under two hours, this is not your place. The first time I had gels put on, they lasted three weeks. Since then, I'm lucky if they last two. Not sure if it's me or them, but my two neighbors have had the exact same issue. Coincidence? Who knows. They're also very expensive. I generally pay about $90 for mani/pedi with French on my toes. Their prices just went up too, so beware. They do offer a discount if you pay cash though. Just had a pedicure here for the first time and I'm hooked. I called ahead to make an appointment and they got me in on time. I also requested an eyebrow wax and they did a wonderful job. I had the Lush Pedicure and it was perfect. Extremely relaxing, my feet are super soft, and my toes are gorgeous! They did a really cute design on my big toes too, which I love. I used to love this place but now I'm not so sure. I'm greeted immediately when I enter and told to pick a color. The staff is always friendly and engaging. They are great at either being very engaging or politely quiet depending on the client's mood. There is also a rule that the staff can only speak English, which is nice but sucks that clients are paranoid enough that a rule like that is even needed. The salon owner is kind and beautiful. The decor is outstanding.Why the 3 stars then? My last few visits have left me less and less impressed. Yesterday I went for a pedicure. The water was cold after 5 minutes, despite having hot water refilled. This is probably because of the metal basins. Yesterday was my first time getting a pedicure with only nail clippers, a 60 second pumice and polish. The massage (which was great) lasted twice as long as the pedicure! Today my nails are beautiful polished but not buffed, not shaped, only cut down, and they have ridges beneath the polish. This is the the first time my nails have had ridges after a pedicure. I used to love this salon. I want to continue loving this salon. Sadly I probably won't be back, or at least not for a quite some time. Read Less

The work and service is the quality you'd expect and pay for in a nice spa.I only had the gel nails. A man did them and I cannot remember his name, but he did a great job. I was impressed with how he really took his time. The gel nails lasted about 16 days and never chipped! I think I'm in love w this place!  Clean, great chairs, great work.The polish selection is wide including OPI, Zoya and China Glaze.The chairs are beautiful and have the full range of massage and motion with your tootsies resting in a glass basin with a colored light under it.  For the service, you rest your ankles on a padded ledge.Each chair is given its own space through separation by a gauzy curtain.  There's a good sense of privacy.Everyone is professional and excellent.  There are no communication barriers, so you can request exactly what you would like and also point out any problem areas in advance.  Each set of instruments come in their own clavicle-cleaned and sealed packet.Pay with cash for a discount.The inside is clean and welcoming with artful stencils on the walls.So far, I've seen Judy.... and I'm not straying.  This is the best I've ever had and the most thorough.They are gaining popularity.  Appointments are suggested if you don't have a little bit of time to wait for an opening.
