I wanted to get my nails done ASAP and they are right down the street from my house. The pedicure was awesome! I walked in though and I hate when nail shops are hot. It was 78 degrees in there and I’m 8 months pregnant! When the husband (owner) came in he noticed that and finally put the A/C on. As for the nails I asked if they do the dip and they said yes. Well they started on the dip process on my nails but COMPLETELY cut corners to save money (or ran out of the supplies) For those who know the dip process the drilling on the nail should be LIGHT and there is no UV light needed so that threw me off. And just as I expected three days later my nails look dull from the gel top coat. (Which was the whole reason why I stopped getting solar nails). And the dip colors were scare compared to other places I’ve been. They are super nice and friendly, but I wasn’t truly satisfied. Read Less

It's a rather small place, but other than that, I can't fathom why it's so unbusy! They do great work, some of the longest-lasting manis and pedis I've had. Relatively cheap here too, especially for the quality. Top value.Read Less

Very unprofessional !  every time I decide to give them another chance they always disappoint me. I went in for a pedi yesterday and the workers must thought English was my only language because racist comments where made as if I wasn't sitting there. They always over charge my card for some reason... plenty of more complaints to come from others trust me, not even worth the one star. Read Less

I've always liked this place and drive from Arlington for a pedicure, even after they raised the price. Unfortunately it's becoming less and less worth it. Their color selection and quality of polishes is AWFUL and today I sat for 15 minutes with my feet in paraffin, so he could do a color change. The wet towel that was draped across my shins got so cold I had to ask for it to be removed. It's really unacceptable. Now I suppose I'm done since he left without a word to do someone's balance. Got my nails done by Kiri 3 weeks ago and I'm converted. The whole experience was just so easy going and my nails looked fab at the end. Being allergic to most beauty products leaves me with limited options in the beauty sector, but everything at Loretta's is non toxic so I've had no issues. Overpriced. I had an appointment for a gel mani pedi one hour before they close. They made me bleed while doing my cuticles more than once. They rushed on everything they did. They cut my nails in a very sloppy fashion and when I asked very nicely for them to fix it they refused and said "no, they look beautiful". Will not be returning. Do not recommend.Read Less

We made an appointment for 5 pedicures. We were super worried when we saw a mother and daughter walk in moments before us but NO! They kept our appointments and turned those 2 away! I think that is unheard of, so thanks for honoring our appointment! We all asked for different services one of us just wanted polish change,  one of us wanted the most expensive pedi with shellac. The technician was really sweet, and the establishment is nice. However, when I pay $75 for a new set of acrylics I expect them to not start lifting the next day. I have had them on for 5 days now and they look terrible. I would have gone back immediately, but I left for a work conference in Atlanta the next day and will not be back in Columbus until tomorrow. I have had my nails done for cheaper and it was still a better quality. Save your money and find a different nail salon. Read Less

Price is good ($5 off for Yelp check-in), but the experience was not ideal. First off, the smell of smoke from the people smoking outside of the bar next door was really off-putting. I realize they have no control over that, but it was still unpleasant. The polishes all looked really old even though a lot of them had labels on them saying,  "NEW." The nail tech who did my pedicure was shoving my feet around & pointing instead of directing me with words, and the massage was pretty much non-existent. Rubbing stones around my legs is not what I consider to be a massage. The polish looks good, but I would probably hesitate to return if I was looking for a relaxing or pampering experience in the future. Read Less

It's been over 2 weeks and not a scratch or chip with the gel manicure I had. The guy there said if we did have any scratches or chips in 2 weeks we could come back for free to have it fixed which is awesome. They were pretty quick and did a great job. Started great.  They were going to close but took me for a pedicure  anyway.  Very happy at that point.  The woman cut my toe.  Decent size piece of skin pulled off.  Nearly 1/4" inch by 1/8" section.  Didnt acknowledge it or apologize.   I asked for a bandaid and nothing.  Then she went to do garbage . The prices aren't bad, and the staff is friendly, but I wasn't happy with how my nails turned out. I did a full solar set, and the nails are wider than my natural nail so they're already coming up on the edges. I paid $50, and I haven't even had them on for a week! I've driven past this salon a million times but just walked in today to get my eyebrows waxed (I normally go to VIP nails next to Kroger but it seems they have moved due to construction). I followed a girl into the waxing room, which was filled with clutter, and saw that the table was draped in a blanket that was FILTHY. There was even a long black hair just laying on it. Then, she took a very long time to do by brows and put all the wax on above and below my brows before putting the strips on, which made me nervous that she was leaving it on too long. In the end, my brows looked fine, but a little too thin, but I don't see myself returning. I would not recommend going unless it is your last resort. Read Less

I really tried to give this salon a shot, but today pushed me to my limit.  I had a balance on Saturday and by Sunday my right middle nail was broken and the clear coat was chipping off from my thumb and index finger.I went in for a repair this morning and there was no apology and zero recognition that I was a customer a few days prior and spent around $100 for three services. There was an attitude of accusation, as if I broke it on purpose, or had the nails done somewhere else.  The young lady who was assigned to fix my nail was very nice, but unfortunately placed a tip on my finger and it is curved upward and to the right.  I wish I could post photos.  The new clear coat is already peeling off and now my left thumbnail is cracked, just a few hours later!!  I work in an office, not on a construction site, and I've had pink and whites for years, I've never had this happen.  Point being, shoddy products?  Shoddy workmanship?  Either way, I'm not returning nor would I recommend this salon. Long Time customer...NEVER going backI've gone to this salon through several name changes and owner changes. The service gets worse and worse. I continued through the nonsense because it's near my home and business. On Friday, I called for an appointment, went in on time, and waited for almost before being acknowledged, while the head guy, a kid, walked back and forth talking to the techs who are now all older men. No female techs in sight, which leads me to believe...new management AGAIN!  I finally caught his eye, and said I'm here for my appt, and all be says is 5 minutes...do you want something to drink...OK!  30 minutes later (stupid me for waiting, but I had my tablet!)...I get up and say, I'll come back tomorrow! Well, I called right after they opened for an appt, went in at the confirmed time, and saw the same crap. NEVER AGAIN! They've lost me as a customer. They're not worth it. Learn how to run a salon...get more techs if you're so "busy". Your prices are the same as other salons and with much better service. At least they respect their customers. Read Less

I have been to every nail salon in the Polaris area. This has been my favorite in regards to price and the friendly staff. The new owner Nina is fantastic and does an outstanding job on your nails! However, her staff is not that great. I don't write reviews unless I have had an extremely negative experience and I had the worst experience at this salon in all my 5 years of getting my nails done. I sat in the chair of a man (who didn't look quite with it mentally) and asked for a pink and white solar nails (a new set, my old set was old and dingy). So he begins to drill off my old set of nails, leaving half of them on and half of them off, I had obvious "holes" in the middle of my nail. He then pulls out the pink and white gel to begin putting the nails on. I stop him and tell him that doesn't seem right and I want a new set. He then pulls the old set off and in the process he breaks off about half of my nails. He finally gets to the part where he can put the gel on my nails and he pulls out the "fake nails" I stop him again and say, "no, I want the gel." He gives me a confused look and starts filling my nails, in the process of doing so he places the "white" so far over my nails - that I don't have a nail bed to support the gel. This process took 2.5 hours. At this point I am annoyed and aggravated and ready to leave. I finally get to leave I get home and I go to pull the back off of my phone and the my surprise (not at all) my thumb nail snaps off. I immediately called back and the owner gladly fixed the nail for me. I am awaiting the rest of my shotty nails to pop off. So overall, the salon and prices are great if you can get Nina. But, if you can't don't waste your time. The rest of the staff seems pretty clueless. Read Less

I was referred to Contempo Nails from my hair stylist. She said that she had gone for a pedicure and gave it rave reviews. I have always been insecure about having someone see how bad my feet look...but I went anyway. I didn't have an appointment but they do accept walk-ins. I was seated in a massage chair (wonderful...chiropractic session while getting my feet in shape...who knew?!?) and Becka started in on my feet. As embarrassed as I was about the way my feet looked...Becka was very professional...and made me feel so comfortable. By the time Becka was done, I was so proud to show my tootsies off in flip-flops (don't think I didn't...I went and picked-up my daughter and showed everyone that would look....and I have cute feet once taken care of...). What is even more incredable...the pedicure has lasted for 3-weeks. I am planning on going back today and taking my daughter...she is three and will think it is pretty cool to sit with me.
