I was never told the name of my nail tech. She was late to our appointment and then rushed through the work. I was charged 46 for a fill in, polish change and shape up. My nails are bumpy on top NOT SMOOTH like they should be and after only 3 days the GEL polish is already chipping off. She used fingerpaints brand which is the least professional brand you can use, and other salons wont use because of quality. This was only $9 cheaper then what I got originally and that polish lasted 3 weeks without chiping at all. Talk about saving a damsel in distress! Unfortunately I was let down by my hairdresser on my wedding morning (!) and Jades stepped in last minute sending in 3 very experienced, what can only be described as Charlie’s Angels of the hairdressing world!! They were absolutely fantastic, got us all ready well on time and looking absolutely stunning! I could not have asked for more professional, lovely and wonderfully talented women to do my hair, my mums and 3 bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding! I sat there for a whole hour for them to tell me i cant get my nails dont because she has to leave to get her children. They always have close friends there that they love doing there nails. But anyone else they will just let u sit there. They dont put appointments in the book ive made 2 appointments that i ended up having to cancle because of theire mis-communication. They are verry good with nails but horrible with service and people skills ive tried this 3 time now then i called and was asking questions and the lady hung up on me just rude she needs to be fired. Appointment days are Monday - Wednesday but call by Monday because they fill up QUICK. Walk-ins are Thursday Friday and Saturday but you will wait for quite a while. Best to come right at 9am when they open on those days. We showed up at 10am on a Saturday and waited 5 hours for a full set. BUT the nails are beautiful, perfect and last forever, the staff is very nice and the place is clean. They REALLY need more seating and maybe comfier chairs, my butt almost went numb lol and i was considering waiting in the coffee shop next door where there are couches lol. But i will go back. A wonderful salon filled with excellent professionals. As soon as we got engaged and booked our venue, I had to book Jades next. If you’re getting married in, or around Llangollen; then everyone knows you book Jades because they are simply the best. Louise, Sue and their staff are all so friendly and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The whole team made my entire Bridal party feel special and look perfect for my wedding. There were 8 of us in my Bridal party and ...the team worked amazingly hard to get us all ready in just two hours. Living a long way out of the area I was recommended Jades for a hair trial for my wedding. I went to the salon and had an amazing time. Made to feel so welcome and relaxed and my hair was stunning! Louise came to my venue at Trevor Hall on the day of the wedding and did an amazing job on mine and 5 others hair. I looked this place up online, since I had some free time while visiting family I thought I'd treat myself to a way overdue pedicure. My experience was nice, a bit off putting at first but when your a guy walking in to a nail salon you can expect that everyone in the place will stop and look at you. The lady who did my pedicure was nice enough although she didn't introduce herself. I just went with the flow being a stylist myself I know it's kind of awkward with new clients. The service was good, although, she didn't cut my cuticles, she just cleaned them up. The foot massage was awesome! The price was a bit of a shock at $30 plus tip, I would have expected a nicer place with better amenities. I don't pay that much for a pedicure at nicer places back home in Chicago. The staff was friendly but I doubt I'd go back and I was hoping to find a place to stop at when I visit. Read Less

Amazing salon with fabulous staff! Myself, my mum and sister booked the salon for our hair and makeup for the morning of my brothers wedding - not being from the area, and not knowing where to book we sure did luck out! Both the make up and hair were stunning, and the staff catered to all out tastes and styles individually. The staff went above and beyond for us all, and nothing was too much trouble. I travelled up to Llangollen for my mother in laws wedding and booked to have hair and make up done at Jades for a wedding. Had my make up done by a lovely lady (sorry I forgot your name) who gave me the exact look I was after and then had my hair up with Bethan which was better than the pictures I took with me. The hair and make up lasted all day and night and I got lots of lovely comments on how great it looked. All the other staff were so friendly and lovely too. Well, where do I start?? Me and my friend came in on Saturday 16.04 for our hair up for our friends wedding! First of all leading up to our app, the salon was always friendly when dealing with emails and phone calls as we live out of the area! Once we arrived at the salon we were greeted lovely to say we were not from the area and the girls were lovely! We felt very important and treated like princesses, everyone in the salon could not have been more welcoming and friendly ...which for us started off a special day lovely!! Beth Owens did my hair and I can honestly say she was AMAZING, I showed Beth one photo and it was perfect! The best I have ever had, I felt very special and my friend had Beth Day which once again my friend could not have felt more special and was over the moon with her hair!
