Their website says a client cannot be more that 10 minutes late. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment. Many other customers checked in after me, and they were all taken back, while I sat alone in the reception area. When it was 10 minutes after my appointment time, I asked the person at the desk. Another client, who was late, was more important than me and they took her back "to fix a nail". No communication! I left. I called The Polished Nail Bar and asked to speak with the owner. I have been coming here for several months now. Amazing work, amazing staff, amazing selection of colors. Services are very reasonably priced. Once I was late and Kim totally was accommodating. She is not my nail tech, but was so willing to step in and do my pedicure because my techs next nail client was there. Nothing but great service. Read Less

Never again will I go back. Made apt 3 weeks in advance for my wedding. For 3 of us for pedicure and gel nails. We received phone call from them that an employee called off so they wanted to make sure we were still coming and this was at 930am. I told her we were on our way. We ended up getting caught up on expressway and was 13 mins late maybe not even that and as we walked in happy and excited for our experience and day we were greeted with grouchy faces of maybe 6 or 7 ladies. They didn't even let me say hello they all started in that now they are gonna be behind with other appointments now. They didn't go about it in a mature manner. There should have been only the receptionist at the desk. And she should have said calmly that there is a situation now. We would have helped figure out the situation by maybe not doing the pedicures or something. But nope there had to be everyone with hands on hips and all shouting out what they could only do that day for us. I told them that I have been there plenty of times and have waited for an hour for my visit and that even once I was the last one here while they shut off lights and locked doors even due to the fact that I waited so long that we went into closing time. Great mother and daughter experience. Cashing out experience was aweful. After spending 91 dollars on services, overheard promotion of a gift card $100 and getting $20 free. I asked if I could still be honored for that especially after tipping I was at 101. Nope sorry ya cant. Well guess I don't have to come back if ya cant honor your customers. Stuck up people suck. This salon is so beautiful inside...it's like entering into an oasis, or a vacation Spa. Prices are reasonable, and the girls are very friendly. The owner is usually on site, and keeps things as fresh as the first day it opened. Highly recommended! Read Less
