California Nails has false advertisement says on door walk ins but we have been there twice and all they can say is do u have an apt and do u want to come back next week. If ur not taking walk ins take the damn sign or stickers off door. An apt is not a walk in. U all are very rude that work there not people friendly don't smile and prob shouldn't be working with the public because ur attitudes suck! We will not come back to give u our business u have turned down 4 people as we came twice for walk ins but prob a good thing cause if the job u do on nails is anything like ur personalities would look like shit and suck! Absolutely LOVE going to get my nails done. I always leave pleased and beyond happy! I walk out feeling so much better when my nails look fabulous The staff is like family and all very nice, respectful, and accommodating. They always help me pick out my colors. I got a gel manicure. The girl that did my nails didn't talk to me until she was almost done. She kept stopping what she was doing to watch people around her. She soaked off my previous gel polish and while doing so said "This smells like someone added something because it's not just acetone. Hopefully your polish comes off. I guess we'll see what happens." Then continued the soaking process. It hasn't even been a week and my nails are chips and the polish peeled completely off of two of my nails. Yes, I know it's just Facebook but it's also pretty unprofessional in my eyes to completely ignore a potential customer, would be different if they never got the message. The absolute worst place. I recently visited Tiffin from California and had my nails done at "California" nails in Tiffin. The name should be "WORST" nails in Tiffin. The salons in California treat the customer with respect and kindness. The people at this salon are very, very rude and extremely unprofessional!! I can't believe they are in business. The manager is very rude! I only go there because options are limited. I went in to Pay and receive my normal manicured gel fill. There was 1 customer and 4 employees. The manager rudely asked what I needed, paused and said, "I don't have time for you!" He didn't ask if I wanted to set an appointment, he didn't apologize. He just didn't feel like it. I was truly embarrassed. Maybe he was eating lunch....Who knows... My friends stopped doing business with California Nails, in Tiffin, because of similar experiences. Every time I go here I am treated well. The girls are so friendly and great at suggesting colors and designs! The royal pedi is to DIE for and I love love love it (especially since my rheumatoid disease makes my feet swell and ache)!!! I called to make an appointment three days ahead for a set of pink and whites. I was told that they don't do them on the weekends? I asked why and the only explanation was they were to busy. So I said I didn't understand because I was making an appointment? ! I was told basically it didn't matter. So I politely told them I would take my business elsewhere. He didn't care at all. I had very high hopes for this salon but it turned out to be a bust. Do not under any circumstances get your nails done here they peel off the night you get them done and then when you go to complain about them they tell you that you should have expected that. No for that price I expect them to last for more then a few hours. Now I am going to have to pay more for someone else to do them again because they look like trash when I got them done here 2 days ago. Read Less
