On June 21, 2018 at around 2:30 pm myself, my sister and three nieces ages 3 and 7, walked into Kolorz Nail & Hair Studio located on Lee Road in Shaker Heights, Ohio. We initially stopped due to the sidewalk sign that read "Walk-Ins Welcome. Once we walked in we were rudely greeted by heat due to lack of central air and an employee, as if we were disturbing the vacant seats in the salon. Once I inquired as to the availability for Mani/pedis. The employees began to give excuse...s as to why they were unavailable due to appointments NO ONE showed up for the 2 hours we were there. Keisha whom later identified herself as the owner stated she had an available chair and I obliged her. I sat there while she finished her DAUGHTER nails for free, for about 30 mins. I have been frequenting various Salons for over 20 years all over the world and have NEVER received service this bad. I asked for the Spa Pedi, which normally consist of a Pedicure, with amenities such as but not limited to paraffin, hot rocks, moisturizers, and a pedicure. I received a foot wash, about 30 seconds of additional care and my toes painted. When Keisha appeared to be done I inquired as to what was included with a $40 pedicure. She stated a foot wash from the ankle down and painting. I explained when I originally sat in the chair what I wanted. However Keisha being the owner decided she could give me whatever she wanted. Keisha then became agitated by my inquiries and demanded I pay her before she finished my pedicure. This establishment is taking advantage of people and down right ripping them off. I am making it my duty to seek legal and any other assistance to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I plan to get them re-done by another establishment to have before and after pictures of the correct and incorrect way to complete a pedi. Keisha also assured me her 5 years of experience in doing nails most definitely trumps my 20 plus years of salon care service. Keisha did not wear gloves or wash her hands between clients. She was unapologetic, unaccommodating, nasty and rude. To support my claims I have also gathered verbal/legal statements from various salon owners nearby and NO ONE agrees with or utilizes the practices that Keisha of Kolorz Nail Salon implements. Lastly, by her request we decided to go online to read reviews, her suggestion was Facebook, however I knew better. On Facebook where the comments are controlled she was and excellent Salon owner, everywhere else was the opposite with the most recent heinous complaint to date on 5/27/18. Finally after all was said and done I ended up in the Pharmacy purchasing supplies to treat the several nicks and cuts I received from Keisha's service at Kolorz Nail Salon on Lee Rd in Shaker Heights, OH. As a result I have scheduled a dermatologist visit to ensure there are no other resulting issues. See More Read Less
