Went today for a pedicure and decided to have gel polish as well. Started with the pedi. Job was good but at 5:30 pm (my pedi was at 1:45) my legs are still oily. Oil was used but never wiped off. Normally the oil is first then lotion. I have never had oily legs. The young lady asked me if I wanted a manicure with gel polish and I decided yes. She shaped and buffed my nails. Never soaked or worked on my cuticles. Polish on. Looks ok but the base needs to be correct before the “paint” goes on. See pics that follow. Be more vocal than I was. BTW I could not understand her... English was very limited and I am a language teacher

Just experienced my first time at Tj nails and I can truthfully say that Christina did a WONDERFUL job on my nails, I have small nails so it’s hard for me to find somebody to do my nails the way I like them, Christina did an EXCELLENT job I will definitely recommend her and TJ nails to anyone!! Everyone was friendly, it was a nice clean, organized salon!

Walked in randomly this morning because I needed a little bit of self care today. Waited maybe 10-15 minutes which isn’t bad at all! I heard amazing things about Ashley and luckily that is who I got! She did a phenomenal job! She was quick but also paid attention to details and made sure my nails turned out nothing less than perfect! Definitely coming back! It was a great experience all around

One star is too many for the experience I had with my daughter today! Long story short, I was lied to about a design the stated they could do, lied to about the highly over priced services and made to feel like I did something wrong when I questioned that the designed looked nothing like we wanted and the color was completely incorrect...they charged $5 extra for coffin shaped nails and by the time we left she had so much gel on her nails they were no longer coffin shaped...awful experience, HIGHLY over priced...i will NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone....now I have to pay to have them fixed because they look so awful!

Tia did her best to get me in a chair as quickly as possible and still was able to provide great customer service and did a wonderful job. This is the best clean natural looking set I have ever seen. The shop is modern and sparkling clean and a comfort able atmosphere

We didn't even get to get our nails done because the bitchy lady that was there was all huffy because we had not made an appointment and they were oh so busy with 2 customers.....so we went somewhere ...

Highly recommend TJ Nails! I am so happy with this nail salon. They really know what they are doing. My gel polish stays on my nails and always looks awesome. I go to Tia but everyone at the salon is great and well trained. It is very clean and the massage chairs are high quality! I highly recommend this salon.

I had a wonderful experience... they were VERY friendly it was a really clean environment, they did a awesome job on my nails an I absolutely loved my pedicure they go above an beyond to make their clients happy... their prices were great as well... I will definitely be going back an will be a regular customer!

Just went into the new salon and signed in to get a pedicure. Sat there for twenty minutes unacknowledged when there were multiple workers doing other people's nails. Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a salon. I walked out and complained but the girl just said sorry and rolled her eyes. I would never go back here. Much nicer places to go in Sandusky that acknowledge you exist!!

I never feel rushed and am always impressed with how long my gel nails last. For $5 more they can add a small dusting of acrylic powder which strengthens your mani on your natural nail. The pedi was thorough and relaxing. It seems a bit pricey but this may be the norm for good service these days.

I recently moved to Sandusky and was looking for a Nail Salon to get my acrylics balanced. I called TJ Nails and they were able to schedule me a 'same day' appointment which was a relief because the two other salons I called we're not accommodating. The male technician made my acrylic nails look fantastic again and offered me 'mood changing' gel polish which is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. I can't stop admiring it.I would definitely recommend visiting this nail salon. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience and I will definitely return when I'm due for a balance.

This is a diamond off the beaten path..Had Tia do my nails for my wedding day and she did a great job. That was a year ago and I still go every few weeks. They do a great job and it doesn't cost too much :) They do walk-ins but if you want to get them done for sure call ahead and make an appointment you won't be disappointed :)

Went today for a pedicure and decided to have gel polish as well. Started with the pedi. Job was good but at 5:30 pm (my pedi was at 1:45) my legs are still oily. Oil was used but never wiped off. Normally the oil is first then lotion. I have never had oily legs. The young lady asked me if I wanted a manicure with gel polish and I decided yes. She shaped and buffed my nails. Never soaked or worked on my cuticles. Polish on. Looks ok but the base needs to be correct before the “paint” goes on. See pics that follow. Be more vocal than I was. BTW I could not understand her... English was very limited and I am a language teacher

Highly recommend TJ Nails! I am so happy with this nail salon. They really know what they are doing. My gel polish stays on my nails and always looks awesome. I never feel rushed and am always impressed with how long my gel nails last. For $5 more they can add a small dusting of acrylic powder which strengthens your mani on your natural nail. The pedi was thorough and relaxing. It seems a bit pricey but this may be the norm for good service these days.
