Like most hotel spas the services are a bit overpriced for what you get. I have gotten massages there a few times and almost every instance I was shorted time even though I got to my appointment early and was more than ready at my appointment time. The staff is friendly. Read Less

We stayed at the Kalahari Sandusky and had a wonderful time! Staff was friendly rooms cozy and clean although a bit pricey, but what do you expect it is a resort and everything looks so appealing so bring mula lol. My family and I had amazing time we'll be back! Read Less

This review is just for SPA kalahari. Paige at the front desk was super friendly and extremely helpful. Loved the salt room and the spa pedicure. So relaxing. They did a wonderful job. Spa Kalahari is a great place. The halotherapy room is great! Everyone is friendly and very welcoming. This is a great atmosphere for relaxation and reguvenation! I return as often as I can. Definitely worth trying out. I am never disappointed. Read Less

It was a beautiful setting for the three of us but the actual manicure and pedicure portion needs to be revisited. Cuticles are still way too long, no clear coat over the polish (chipped within 24 hrs), didn't clean up previous polish upon removal (still all over toes when we left with new polish on nails), booked one service but received a different with being told no time, and completely uneven nails when we walked out. Perhaps turning the light up and not worrying about wine and mimosas will assist in providing the level of service that you are charging for. Won't be back and won't recommend. $334 plus tip to walk out with something I could have done better at home. Read Less

Bad hotel experience. Never cleaned room our whole week here. Always having to call on emergency basis for towels etc. Stay away and go to other resorts or hotels in area. Cheaper and much much better value. Other complaints but not going to do that here. Would be zero stars if i could. Read Less

Everyone at the spa was amazing. Courtney was most def my favorite. Only because since I had a manicure, we was able to actually communicate with each other. During a massage and facial, you cant really communicate. Even though I was there for the convention (colossalcon) they treated me well. I will most def come back when I travel there from Michigan! I've been here now 4 times in the past five years, and the resort/park has certainly seen a steady decline. You can't get on any of the "big" water slides, without at least a half hour wait, which sucks cause it's super muggy and hot. It's not as clean as it once was. The overall staff is certainly not as friendly as they once were. I used to not mind paying the extra money for food, but they've lost a step there too. It's entirely overcome by foreigners and drunks; which wouldn't be so bad if either acted as if they had any manners or class. During check-in there was a family that decided to have a picnic right in the lobby, directly next to the check in desk. It smelled up the entire lobby area. It's not worth the money they charge you to stay there, and I definitely won't be staying here again any time soon. I would consider coming for a day pass, to let my kids swim. But there are a lot better, and more contemporary water parks near by, without all the lines and hassle.Read Less
