My daughter and I drove from Elyria to get our nails done today. We walked into the salon and were greeted with “what do you want”. We proceeded to tell the woman that one of us needed a full set and one needed a fill. She then told us “ We are busy. We cannot help you”. Unbelievably rude!! She did not even offer for us to have a seat to wait for service, just pretty much declined our business. This was my second time going to this salon, but my daughter is a regular. If you NEED a mani/pedi and this place is the only one you can get into, it will do. Although if you have an option I don't recommend it. Linda did such a fantastic job on my powder dip nails!  Few salons in our area do the dip nails, yet it is extremely popular in other areas of the country. If you haven't tried it yet and are currently using gel polish, these feel a bit thicker but are supposed to last longer and be better for your nails. Linda took extreme care to make sure my nails turned out great and I am so so happy with them!! It is a totally different process than gel and doesn't use any sore is light to cure - I could tell Linda had practiced this technique which is necessary to get it right. I will absolutely go back to Victoria Nails next time I'm looking to get the powder dip done. I also had a pedicure during this visit that I'm very happy with! My nails looked great, I was very happy with the shape and the overall way my acrylics looked. Though, just one week later three of them had popped off for no reason. In 3 years, i've never experienced a nail coming off that quickly with no stress on it. The first came off while I was asleep! Still looking for my new nail place. The pedicure was great. The fill and gel polish looked great it the acrylic fill was too thick and and I lost a nail a week later. While the workers are nice there, the pedi I got was crappy. My color cracked at the base possibly due to her rushing to put the top coat on and all my nails are sharp and definitely uneven. This was the complaint of all the girls in the group we went with. The price was kinda high for the service received. I would skip this salon. Lots of better options out there. Read Less

My pedicure was wonderful. The manicure was terrible. The woman cut the end of my thumb with nail clippers three times. I picked three gel colors for the manicure and each time, they said they didn't have that color any more. I ended up with light pink, which was not what I wanted but I was told it was "close enough." I've been browsing nail salons lately and Yelp led me to Victoria Nails because of their reviews. Needless to say, I was not disappointed! The gentleman who gave me my pedicure and gel manicure was amazing. I did not feel rushed through the cuticle trimming or massages, like many of my other experiences. He took his time and checked in to see if I was pleased with the color and style of my nails.  The gel and toe polish was impeccable and did not clump, smudge, or overlap with my cuticles.   Their gel polish collection is extensive and meets all of your color selection needs. Pedicure chairs are so cheap and wobbily and the place looks terrible and seems dirty inside. I was there with my mom... She specifically asked the guy to be extra careful to not cut her when doing the cuticles and he laughed and said "oh no I'm a professional, you don't need to worry about that happening." I visited this salon once for a fill and will never go back. First off, the floors and shelves were filthy and looked as though they hadn't been swept or wiped down, ever! The woman who did my nails I'm assuming is the owner. Very cold and "grumpy". Their were two techs making small talk (no big deal) and she yelled at them telling them to talk about nails! LOL! I have been to Victoria nails several times and have always been happy with my service.Yesterday I joined two lady friends for a mani-pedi date. We were able to schedule an appointment at 10am, right when the salon opened. I arrived 10 minutes late (because I needed to stop at the ATM) and it was no problem at all. We were all sat promptly in pedicure chairs and all of our pedicures started at the same time. The technicians were all friendly and talkative, which I have found to be unique to this salon.I received the Victoria Pedicure and it was pretty basic. They cut/shaped my nails, removed calluses with a file, used a pumice stone and finished with a massage and one hot towel. The technician prompted me to pick out my shellac color while he was doing my pedicure. This salon cannot automatically match your toe color with shellac, like I have seen at other salons. So my nails and toes were different colors.Two things I think could be improved about the pedicure--the towel they used was maroon with bleach stains. It's more aesthetically pleasing, in my experience, to rest your feet on a white towel. That way you don't have to think about how many pedicures that same towel has been used for in the past. I also would have preferred to have my legs wrapped in two hot towels like I have had at other salons. But my feet turned out smooth and the paint job was just fine.After our pedicures we each got a shellac manicure. My nails happen to be very short (at the moment) and I was impressed with the meticulous nature of my technician, ensuring my manicure was perfect. He spent a lot of time making sure the shellac was even and capping my nails since they were so short. He cut my cuticles (at my request) but at the end he asked me if I "wanted lotion" and I said no. So I skipped out on the hand massage, but was fine with that.As I have said, I've been to Victoria nails before and I will certainly be back. In the past I have had manicure(s) with Shayla, and I really enjoyed talking with her. Although this time I worked with a male technician (not sure of his name) and he did a great job. It's a smaller salon than other's in the area, and there are only 4-5 technicians. They do take appointments, which most salons do not. I have also walked in before and didn't need to wait long. The salon is clean and has a nice environment, but I wasn't able to determine if they sanitize their equipment between clients. Terrible. Worst manicure and pedicure I have ever had. Its not even been a week and I need to go back to the salon I was trying to leave because my fill is lifting and the gel polish is chipping off. They gave me some kid who gives "the best pedicures" and he did a completely half a$$ job. Never will I ever waste my money there again. Made an appointment at 11am, for a fill at 2pm. Upon arrival the only lady who does acrylics had clearly just started on someone. I was on time, and she told me she'd be with me in 15 minutes. The point in making an appointment is to not wait. Clearly not very customer oriented. I will be getting my nails done somewhere else. What a waste of a day. Seriously can't get over how good this place is! I was eating at Piada across the street and needed to get my nails done. I looked on here and saw they had good reviews so I decided to try them out. Now only are the people here really nice, but they actually take their time and make sure that it's done right the first time. I was searching for a nail salon in Rocky River, and the previous Yelp reviews led me to Victoria Nails. I was beyond-happy with my gel manicure and eye brow wax! My nail technician (I wish I caught her name!) did such a great job, and really took her time to make sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. I've been going to Victoria Nails since it's opening. I couldn't be more pleased. I find the place to be neat and clean with a super friendly staff. My nails are always done to perfection. The owner has switched from acrylic powder to gel powder and does not charge extra. The salon has a large selection of gel and regular polish. I've watched other technicians with their customers and they all appear to take their time with the service they are providing. I enjoy getting my nails done at Victoria Nails. I have visited this place twice now. I always used to go to other places and would do a standard manicure, but I decided to go with the gels for the first time. The first experience was very positive and I never felt as though she (Linda) was rushing. There are nail salons in the area which definitely rush through and continuously try to do the gel up sell, and I never got any sort of up sell even when I first said that I was doing A regular manicure initially. The gel manicure lasted over two weeks. I just returned this evening, and, once again, Linda spent so much time making my nails look perfect. She even recommended an alternate color that she believed would last longer, same brand as previous manicure. I highly recommend this salon! Newly opened nail salon across the street from Piada. I stopped by for a gel manicure ($35), as I am always looking for a good nail spot near my house. The service was great! My technician didn't speak very much English so her sister Kim sat next to her and made sure everything was how I wanted it. Granted I was the only customer at the time but they both took their time and made sure I was happy. Kim was very nice and we chatted for awhile about work and family.
