I love love love this place. The service is always amazing. They give excellent manicures and pedicures and actually care about the quality of their work. They offer you pop or water too regardless if you're waiting or not. I made the mistake of going somewhere else since they were busy but never again. This place can't be beat! Read Less

Their customer service is absolutely horrible! Even if you have an appointment, they will play favorites and make you wait for an hour or more past you appointment time so they can get their regulars in. They also don't do a good job of sterilization. After contracting a horrible infection from a pedicure, I will definitely not be back! Read Less

So sad, usually such great service to all, today my daughter & I witnessed a mom & her little girl get shunned as someone came in with 2 teenage girls and kept asking how long, she had plans later, etc etc, orchard staff accommodated this person & pretty much ran my daughter & I out of our seats to seat the 2 teenagers, the mother & her little girl had pretty much not even been acknowledged, so they left after waiting almost an hour. Shameful service. Won't be giving this salon any more of my money or business. Read Less

My daughter & I witnessed terrible service here today, a mother & her little girl were shunned after 3 walk-ins came in & pretty much continued to say they had company, plans later etc, etc. They infact received services before the mother & little girl that had been waiting for an hour or so, the staff said "bye" when they decided to leave ! Another person left as well. We were almost done & pretty much handed our things and rushed out of the way so the other 2 of the walk-ins could be seated ! My daughters nails were not of professional service. We will not be back. Think twice before thinking you will get friendly or speedy service. Read Less

Best mani/pedi's I've ever had (and I've had a few) --they usually last 4 weeks every time. They don't crack, chip or peel like they do from other nail places. The tech's are great and the price is reasonable. You may have a wait without an appointment because there are only three nail tech's-because the owner demands excellence, but it's worth the wait!! I'm a 41 y/o male who has never had a manicure or pedicure in my life.  My friend and I decided we wanted to try them.  He had massive amounts of dead-skin to be removed, I just wanted to be pampered.  :)  When we walked in everyone stopped and stared I felt so uncomfortable at first.  then one of the ladies broke the silence asking us what we needed.  We told her we were early for out appointment and she set us up in our chairs.  The lady that did my feet did a really good job, but she really didn't talk at all.  She seemed like she wanted to just do the job and move on.  Maybe it was the end of her shift, who knows.  I wouldn't have thought anything of it except the girl who worked on my buddy was very chatty and personable.  My friend had his five year old daughter and they bother were very sweet to her.  I decided I will continue getting pedicures from now on.  The experience was a good one.  I'd recommend this place.  Once the shock of us walking in the door was over, everything was great. If I could not give a star I would not. The woman who did my pedicure took the skin right off my toe. Literally a gash and acted like it was my fault. No apology or act of kindness at my bleeding foot. She then sprayed my foot with alcohol and kept trying to dip it in the dirty water! Then, to top it off she smeared my polish when putting on my shoes. I told her not even to fix it I could do it better myself. Um no thank you! I would not go back even if it was free. 35.00$ for rude service, a gash in my toe and nail polish on my leather flip flops! What a joke! Read Less

The service was ok.... Nothing special... I always asked for a pair flower on each of my big toe.  The other nail place down the road that I usually go to never charge me for these flowers, they took like 2 minutes to do.... Anyway, I asked Orchid... and they said yes, we can do that... But they didn't tell me I have to pay for it in the end... Needless to say, not so good impression for a new customer! Quaint little salon in old Powell. They take walk-ins, but it's probably best to make an appointment. The salon itself is super clean and beautifully decorated - really sets the tone for a relaxing environment. However, even with an appointment, my standard pedicure took 70 minutes. Eek! I'll likely come back, but it's good to know that I need to allocate a substantial chunk of my afternoon to an appointment.Color selection and variety of services is pretty comparable to other mani/pedi shops in the area. Again! Another place I have driven and walked past many many times and finally one day I caved and went in.  And very happy I did!  The place is way bigger inside than what it appears outside and there is no "product" smell about it.  Big plus for them for me right there!  One wall is lined up with the massage chairs for pedicures and the other side has the manicure tables.  They do eyebrows in the back and are currently upgrading the area back there to eventually do massages.  And the entire staff is very friendly.Another big plus was that when they offered me a beverage - wine was one of the offerings. YES! The massage chairs were something else! You can leave them on as long or short as you like and this is the first time ever that I was in a chair that actually massaged your butt! That was a bit strange but ok.They do good work here at prices no more expensive than any other salon and they don't charge you extra depending on what brand the color is.  But one of the best things was that lotion.  It was a lavender and jojoba jobbie that smelled soooo good I think I am going to go back and buy a bottle from them.  I have found the place to go from now on for my mani/pedi's. Orchid Nail Spa is a relaxing little haven. I was immediately impressed with the fact that it forgoes the chincy strip mall look and opts for sky-high ceilings, bamboo green walls and relaxing music playing quietly in the background. I was warmly welcomed and chose my polish color from a wall of Zoya, OPI and China Glaze. I selected the signature manicure ($20), which went well beyond the basics with a sugar scrub, lengthy hand massage and meticulous polish application. Will definitely be returning. Read Less

Like most girly girls I LOVE getting my nails done, especially my toes! Nothing beats a refreshing pedi!I first tried this salon well over a year ago, and chose it because it was in a great location in downtown Powell.I was VERY PLEASANTLY with the size and open concept of this salon! It is MASSIVE. The waiting area is very cozy with A LOT of magazines, but I have never had to wait to long to be seen!The staff is super sweet, and do a GREAT job!
