I had a scheduled appt. For 5pm when I arrived the receptionist could not find my name. When I made the appt.They ask for the spelling of my name and said okay your appt.is at 5pm. I had a retreat manicure done on Wednesday for a family wedding. I had made an appointment days before but the manicurists were busy trying to accommodate walk-ins. Because of their poor planning and staffing, my daughter in law and I were not given enough attention. Our manicures were finished without detailed care for each step of the manicure. Even though there were multiple coats on each nail, my nail polish chipped off the next day and my nails looked horrible. It ruined the wedding pictures. I will never return to eco nails and will take my business elsewhere.Read Less

This used to be my favorite place but lately it has been hit or miss. It's very pretty inside and they have a great selection of colors. But...I have often been placed with the manager for a manicure. She's very nice but she is constantly checking her phone and laptop during the manicure. She seems very distracted and it has resulted in the quality not being as good. She will yell over your shoulder to the girl at the front desk with demands, as well. It's just not the relaxing experience you hope to have. I always make an appointment, but I often have to wait past the time of my appointment until they can take me (one time almost an hour past). I have made appointments and they've had no record of me when I showed up. I also once made an appointment for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. On the phone she confirmed them both but in person they said they had no record of the eyebrow wax and would not have time to do it. I was also very uncomfortable during a visit with my mom, who was in town visiting. We were getting pedicures side-by-side. The lady doing my toes was making conversation with both of us. She asked my mom where she was from, and when my mom told her Cleveland she replied by talking about how many Jews there are in Cleveland and how expensive their stores are and that they have weird hours. It was definitely not meant in a positive way. My mom and I, who both happen to be Jewish, felt extremely uncomfortable with this conversation. I don't think she meant to be unkind, I think she was just trying to be friendly and make conversation to be honest, but it was pretty awful. I also find ECO Nails to be more expensive than other places. At first it was worth it but I've had many manicures there lately where the quality is just not there. Just paid 80 dollars for a manicure/pedicure. While I was there I messed up one of my nails and tried to fix if myself with the polish she had used since there was no one to assist me. In the process I messed up two additional nails and just had to remove all the polish. After looking at my feet- aside from the polish which I am going to have to remove as well- you can't even tell I had a pedicure. Will never go back- huge waste of moneyRead Less

Got in right away but got the "long-lasting" nail polish which was chipped the next day.  It didn't last at all and I don't really know why because when I get my nails done elsewhere, with just regular OPI polish, they can last up to two weeks!  Also, didn't get the 5% discount for paying cash - - not sure why.  No one there but receptionist didn't remember I should get it??  I asked and she was surprised.  Won't be going back. The first time I went was actually great because the manager did them, but my second time was awful as far as my nails lasting at all. breaking, chipping, lifting and on........then when I went back after a week to fix one hand they charged me to have them re-fixed, and I mean not a totally do over! very disappointed!!! Be very careful. They hide charges. For instance I had a pedicure and asked for gel polish. They charged an additional $25 for the gel polish on top of the pedicure price. Total cost before tax came to $65 which was more expensive than their highest level pedicure which only runs $60. Very disappointing. They claim cleanliness which is a major selling point but I saw some concerns and they should not be using the "cheese grater" on feet. Huge disappointment. Absolutely terrible. I came here shortly after 7:00pm as I just started working in a hospital and work late hours. The woman at the front desk refused me because apparently they take their last client at 7:00 despite their door and online saying they close at 8:00pm . All I needed was an acrylic nail soak off which is not an extensive service and there were at least 5 other women inside still receiving services. Obviously if the entire store was dead and quiet I would not have attempted to come in, as that would be rude on my part. I offered to pay double for the service and she still said no claiming she (herself) was done for the day. Pathetic that you can't accommodate a customer that definitely would have made it worth your while. Terrible people skills and I would never return or recommend to anyone. Read Less

Love this place!! It is a little pricey but clean and really friendly customer service. Only have been twice and loved both visits. Only thing I would change is how they don't tip with credit card. It is posted at front desk but didn't read it in time both times, ha!!Overall, paid about 10.00 more than other small nail places and think it is worth it!! Read Less

I tried Eco Nail Spa for the first time the other day.  I went in for a Bliss Pedicure. My experience was mostly positive.The good: the establishment was very clean, and I did love the pedicure. It's one of the best I've ever had, actually. My feet really felt and looked much better afterward. I really loved the mud masque they used on my feet and legs. The massage chair worked well and they had a good selection of magazines to read. The less good: they really want to encourage you not to use your credit cards here. I mean, they DO take them. But they offer 5% discount for cash, which is fine. What is odd though is when they handed me my receipt, there was no line to write in the tip. "Uh....how do I tip?" I asked. I was told that I could either write a check or I could "just come back." I asked did this mean run to an ATM and shuffle back, cash in hand? Apparently it did. And that was so not happening. So I had to write a check made out to cash for the tip. Really odd setup, one I've never encountered before. And as you can see from my reviews, I do love me some spa action. The techs do a good job but based on my limited experience of mine and the woman in the chair next to me, they aren't chatty. If you like to socialize with your pedicurist, I don't know that you'll get that here. I wasn't clear what was "eco" about the salon. They have the standard assortment of OPI polishes, plus a few others. Maybe some of the other products are eco? The prices are pretty reasonable: higher than a strip mall mani/pedi location but a bit lower than a salon's. Read Less

Today I had the pleasure of getting a gel polish manicure at Eco Nail Spa, they are eco friendly as their name suggests but they're also just plain friendly.  A beautiful space on the main drag just outside of downtown Powell closes to Sawmill Parkway, they are friendly, very good at what they do, Melanie did an excellent job on my manicure and told me all the things I needed to do to keep my nails healthy.Don't let the location and decor fool you, this place is very reasonable, I had a manicure with gel polish for $44 with tip....not bad :)I'll definitely be going back for my next manicure and pedicure! This is one of the nicest nail spas that I have been to in the Columbus area.  The customer service is excellent and the spa itself is beautiful and clean.  The 60-minute Retreat pedicure was very relaxing and reasonably priced.  Very positive experience! Read Less
