I started going there in 2011 when I had nails done for my wedding. I only go a few times per year but always get the top level mani/pedi. I've always been pleased. The most recent time was the 5/11/18. I took my mother in law. We both had a great experience and were very pleased. I got the gel polish on my fingernails and only one nail has begun to crack - none are chipped. She did the best job on my cuticles I've ever had. It's clean and doesn't stink from the nails or products like some places do. I went to Venetian nail spa before my trip at Disney with my family. I asked to get a mickey mouse on my nails and I ended up with a smudge on my finger that isn't even proportionate. They seemed really apprehensive to do it, and acted like I was getting some intricate design. They seemed really annoyed and irritated that I asked if they could do this. If they didn't feel comfortable doing 3 dots for a Mickey Mouse head then they should have said something to me instead of doing this on my nails and charging me $80 for whatever they thought that was. They have the absolute WORST customer service. I went a few months back for a balance and my tech said, "All of these have to come off" and proceeded to start ripping my acrylics off abruptly and with no warning. When I said it hurt she just kept going until I stood up and started to walk out until another stylist said she would take me and be more gentle. I found one girl who was nice but am not always able to get her. Today I tried to walk in at 4:12 pm because it says online they are open until 6 pm. A snotty girl told me they were closing and refused to take my appointment even though they had the door propped wide open and stylists sitting doing nothing. I thought they may be worth continuing to visit because of their close proximity to home but they always have such terribly self-righteous, rude attitudes that I would only advise someone to visit if you're desperate ... and then only ask for Nancy. I went in to treat myself to a full set of nails. I got there right when they opened so I had no wait. The tech who did my nails was very fast, which I loved because I didn't want to be there all day. He was very detailed and careful to make sure my nails were even length. When he was done, I was thrilled with how they looked! Very natural looking! Best looking manicure I've ever had. I wish he had told me his name. The inside of the shop is beautiful and clean, unlike some other nail salons. Prices are reasonable too. But, the tech was very abrupt and not very friendly. No big deal. Went there last week to get a pedicure and acrylic set for a wedding I was going to be in. The man did a good job on my pedicure but the acrylic nails were another story. I did not realize until after I left multiple of my acrylic nails did not cover my actual nail at all. The sides are exposed and I keep snagging my nail on clothing. I got these done 4 days ago and they look grown out like I had them done weeks ago. For the price you pay, the quality does not match. Massage chair did not work for me or my daughter. Nail technician tried to fix it but then said "oh well". This is what my daughter was looking forward to, so I complained to the manager. She tried to tell me that I should have told the nail tech. I tried explaining that I did, and she kept repeating herself. Then she said "no discount." I have been to this location twice now, both times having a gel manicure.  I was shocked to see the previous reviews (I did not check them prior to visiting), because they are the complete opposite of what I have experienced.  Now, I do go at off times (immediately after they open or later in the evening), so I have never had to wait - keep that in mind if you want immediate service.  Both technicians have done an amazing job with the manicures and were very efficient.  I don't like small talk so I don't mind the quiet while they work.  This is a very nice nail salon with very affordable and appropriate prices!  Not to mention my first gel manicure lasted three weeks.  I had a mani/pedi performed at my hair salon not far from here and the prices were much higher and the quality significantly less.  So I will definitely be back. Keeping vowing I will not return but I almost cried this visit! Nail techs clearly hate to be dragged from texting. Might look better if they were back in break room then out in main salon texting away. My tech just grunted at me. Very distracted. Rushed through to the point he cut my cuticle so close it bled. The only reason I come to this salon is because of ONE nail tech that I adore - Betty.  Other than that - this nail salon is over priced, their customer service is terrible, and they do not take appointments on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.  I was waiting for over 40 minutes and asked if I could soak off to save time and was told my nail tech will do it when she's done.  The staff is clearly bitter that there is one nail tech that is requested over and over by customers.  Maybe they all should learn something from her! I see why this place only has two stars. I was skeptical but from first look it seems like a nice place so I gave it a try. They rushed me in and out, I have open sore spots where the filed away the skin, and I could have painted my nails better. Horrible experience. My mom sister and I went in for my birthday to get pedicures and I have never felt so rushed to get in and get out when they weren't even busy. My water was cold and when I told Son about it he barely made it any warmer.  The massage was below average and he filed so rough I started bleeding. I took my 3 adult children to get a pedicure with me last Friday night as a treat. We were all able to be seated at the same time and all of the new chairs worked. I tipped the staff well after I paid a very healthy bill. By the time we got home we looked at our toes. One sons didn't look clean at all he could still clean dirt from underneath his toes.  The other had a cut from the cleaning. My toe had been torn and was supposed to be glued, I think she forgot and I had a clump under the polish of the big toe! My daughters toes were already chipped. The massage was mediocre and the hot towels only lasted only a minute. I have had pedicures there before and they are usually ok but for the $200 it cost me it was NOT worth it. All the other nail salons in the area were booked and we were desperate (in town for a wedding, assumed that it would be easy to get a nail appointment in Toledo, Ohio). We were satisfied with them taking us immediately as walk-ins at 10:30am, no wait. That's the only positive thing to say. They give low-effort pedicures. Too expensive for the service. I have been in multiple times, but will not be back anytime soon. I went in for a gel mani. The manicurist soaked my nails (had gel on) and used her fingernails to scrap off the polish, instead of using the sterilized metal tool at her station. While filing my nails (asked for rounded edge), she rubbed my skin off until it slightly bled and forgot midway what nails she already did. While cutting my cuticles, she cut the skin underneath my nails which caused bleeding. After the polish, she did not lightly file the ends. This was the worst manicure I have ever had. Horrible customer service! Went in as a walk in for a pedicure in the early evening. There was a ridiculously long wait and not enough seats for waiting customers to sit at. After waiting for about an hour and fifteen minutes, I was rudely and unapologetically told it would still be another half hour or even longer! It seemed the employees had no care about how long you were waiting. They even turned away some walk-ins, who were visibly very upset about coming in for services and being told that the salon would not be taking in any more customers for the day. Don't waste your time here. Go to one of the other local nail salons. You'll be in quicker and get better service. Don't be fooled by the "fancy" interior. This is my 3rd or 4th time here and I've been happy every time!! I've referred Venetian to a friend and she was happy as well. It's a little pricey, but overall great service and one of the best gel manicures I've ever received! It lasted well over 2 weeks! During the summer, one of their employees was SO racist I couldn't believe my ears. When he asked me where I was from, I told him I am Pakistani. He flat out told me not to bring our guns and amo and our wars into the USA. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!????? I work in Levis Commons and have been to the Venetian before.  Today (8/27/15 12pm) was the worst experience EVER!  I had a gel manicure and wanted them to remove it and just paint my nails (no gel).  The woman was SO RUDE!  She missed the corners of my nails when she painted them, she was totally acting like I was wasting her time.  She kept commenting on how thick the gel polish was and buffing my nails until they burned.  I will never step foot in this place again!  THEN you have to use the ATM (charges $2) because you can't put a tip on your credit card anymore.  And it's annoying when they speak to each other the entire time (not in English) so you know they are probably bit*hing about you.  Like a bad Seinfeld episode.  Nothing relaxing about this place, just put me in a foul mood.  NEVER AGAIN! My daughter was visiting from out of town and we went to Venetian because they had techs available last minute.  Now I know why.  Staff were not friendly and none of them seemed happy. Although the salon was full of women it was eerily quiet...even the customers didn't seem happy!  My pedicure was fine, but the nail tech used cuticle cutters on my fingers and cut the skin around my nails, making them bleed.  The polish doesn't even go to the edges of my nails. Went there and accidentally forgot my Nike tennis shoes. I called them and they said they had them. I asked them if they would put them in a bag with my name on them. When I went back they gave me men's Nike shoes. They said a customer probably took them. That's hard to believe when my daughter and I were the last people in the place before they closed. And they would have had to see them in the morning. My guess is some employees is wearing my shoes. The receptionist was very rude. Not only did she not have the decency to have a conversation with me but she continued to laugh and have a conversation about me with an employee and customer. I understand I left my shoes there but I did call and payed generously. I forget that people do not act as I do. I would never take something that was not mine and if I was a business owner I would keep someone's personal property for them until the next they were in or better yet given them a call. I have had  acrylic nails for 17 years. This was one of my worst experiences. Not only did I pay $25 for a fill which is usually $17 most other places, but the day after my fill I broke 2 nails, 2 days later I broke another.  I went to my usual guy ( I don't live in Perrysburg) for a new fill only 5 days later and he said the reason I broke was that when they did my nails they didn't file down the old acrylic and the when they put the new acrylic on, they just filed it off in the finish. Worst pedicure of my entire life. Came with my mom, who was in pain by the end of the pedicure. The girl that worked on me rushed through the entire thing, never asked if I wanted my toenails cut, and acted offended when I asked for a different shape. The guy working on my mom's nails was obviously disgruntled when she asked him to trim her nails to prevent an ingrown toenail. At the end of the appointment, he rushed to clean the chair up, forcing her to move her feet which s...mudged her nail polish. He was then very mad she asked him to touch the nail polish up. They asked us to come to the front to pay, stood there and watched while we signed our credit card receipts and left a tip, and had our chairs filled before we were to the front. My sister made appointments here for mani/pedis for three people.  About an hour before, we called to let them know we were going to be 15 minutes late.  When we got there we were told it was going to be a 30min wait.  We were on such a tight schedule that we ended up having to leave.  If they were going to give up our slots for being late, I wish they would have at least told us over the phone.The salon does look very nice, but the chemical smell was so overwhelming when we went in, that I'm not sure we could have stayed anyway.We ended up going to First Nail down the street - while in a strip mall and not nearly as classy, everyone was very nice and my sister got what she wanted for her big day.I'd also recommend Soto Loft which is down the street.  I didn't have a manicure there, but we did get hair and makeup done and it was a great experience.
