While my experience at luv was great, my shellac only lasted a day and a half before 3/5 nails on each hand started to chip. After reaching out to LUV nails, they offered to re-do my nails. I’m very pleased with my experience every time I come in. Crystal does my daughters nails with gel polish and I spend $40 -$50 every time. This last time the gel polish did not last at all as long as her last few. I called to speak with her about the best way to remove the polish and got a general answering machine that didn’t even announce the company name with was a bit unprofessional. I love coming here. The mani/pedi packages are really grand and affordable. I also did the "birthday bash" for my mom as a surprise and it was so much fun. My husband took me here on my birthday for a pedi -- and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here, as I'd had terrible experiences at another LUV location and sworn off the place.My pedicure was relaxing and nonrushed... great scrub, hot towel soak, heel buffing, and a neat application of the nail polish. Massage chair was OK, the venue was clean, and my attendant was polite. My only complaints would be that they didn't address my ingrowns (TMI??) when trimming my nails like other salons I go to, and their polish color selection is lacking.If you're looking for a high-end, fancy pedi experience -- this isn't quite the place. We came to Luv for girls time!  I will say the ladies were very nice, as was the salon....but it stops there.I was apprehensive to get a gel manicure, seeing the price was $11 more ($38) than my normal salon, but went ahead anyhow.  It is a week later and I'm missing more than half my polish!!  They started to bubble after the 3rd day, which is not the norm at all for a gel manicure!  (I get up to 3 weeks at my normal salon). Another issue I have is that two of us asked from the gel manicures and she received a totally rushed service.  Basically no manicure and no hand massage.  I'm sorry, but when you are told one thing about the service you will receive and you don't get it, it's not right.  We definitely won't be back. The place is beautiful and comfortable. Everyone was nice and my manicurist was friendly and helpful. I asked for a basic mani/pedi. I didn't research this place because I needed my nails done ASAP and the location was convenient to my grocery shopping trip. I was told that the basic pedi did not include deep callous removal. I was fine because I don't have callouses. I do have rough dead skin that I figured a basic scrub during a basic pedi would solve. Shine on me for not clarifying. The basic pedi is a waste of time and money. It's a foot soak, nail cutting, cuticle removing (without removal lotion/oil), and a quick massage with lotion. My mother and I made an appointment on the 25th which was my birthday my mother requested a facial instead of a full body massage but she received a facial and upper body massage and was charged more than she expected. I've been here 3 times, my first mani-pedi literally lasted 1 day before it majorly chipped away. My last 2 visits I have had my mani-pedis done by Sam. She's quiet and sweet and does the most excellent job. My last pedi-cure was Mothers Day and she got to take off her own work. A pedi that lasts almost 3 months? Nope not gel either! I like my nail care to be cheap. I don't need hot towels and callous shaving. Just give me quality polish, good painting skills, and a massage chair. This place is a no fuss establishment. Walk in, get your service, leave. Don't expect perfumed hallways and rose tea refreshments. I LIKE IT. Ok so I got a gel pedicure. The application on my big toe is a little lumpy. I splurged and got the lotsa hottsa pedicure (Luv salons deluxe pedi). I made an appointment that day but it wasn't necessary. I was the ONLY person there and it was just weird. Cambria did my pedi and she was very nice! I would recommend her. PROS: decent price, clean, great decor and atmosphere, nice chairs CONS: super cheap products used!! I feel bad complaining because Cambria was so nice but I literally had to wipe off the excess oils and I could tell it was because of cheap products. Also, whatever lotion they used didn't do a thing for my rough feet, which weren't even that bad. NO Wi-Fi, bad music, and it was a very dead atmosphere. I doubt I'll go back. I went in today to get my nails done. I always get gels. This was a new place for me. The girl who did not nails was really nice but the painting looked like I had done it myself( which is why I don't ). There was polish on both sides of the skin on a few of them and the one thumb had polish all over the skin on the top. Just very disappointing. Read Less

Was in yesterday for a mani/pedi for my engagement photos. Luckily nails are ok but my toes were bad! Looked like I did them myself when I was 10! I thought I could top coat a sheer color at home to hide it but because she jabbed the 3 coats of polish on, that didn't work & it puddled. Had to remove the polish & repainted them myself since I don't have time to go elsewhere. Wow I thought this place was great! The other reviews surprise me. I got a gel pedicure. The tech helped me choose a color, because I'm always indecisive. She was really sweet and patient about it. I got a "mood" polish. It's so awesome. The atmosphere was so nice and relaxed compared to other places I've been. The massage chairs for the pedicures were amazing. The price wasn't bad for the service and everything. I know every tech is different but they all seemed nice. After a devastating closing of my nail shop I was in search of a new one.  I randomly walked in one day for a shellac removal and manicure.  And just yesterday I made a Sunday appointment for my 2nd manicure and 1st pedicure.  Reasonably priced, polite, professional.  I saw Cambria both times and she is so relaxing and takes her time and does a great job, it is a nice change of pace to the numbers game most places are running.  I will def be going back. On a Friday morning around 11am I figured I'd check this place out. Since they promote walk-ins I assumed I could easily be able to walk in on a week day and get a pedicure. A pedicure which I so badly wanted/needed at 9 months pregnant. I walked in and the receptionist had her head laying on the desk and didn't even bother to lift when I asked for a pedicure. She said they were all booked for the day. Really?! There was one customer and one staff member besides the lazy receptionist. Took the time to make an appointment. I am 8 months pregnant, and this my way to treat myself. I arrive, put my feet in the water, and am asked "this is a classic pedicure, right?" I said no, that I would like the one with callus removal. The lady said she didn't have time to do it. Meanwhile, I was never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted when I booked. I left with no pedicure, and couldn't even book one for the next day because of course the schedule is full. Why take appointments???? You should be ashamed of yourselves. I will not be back. Luv is the worst, and I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here to get your nails done. Honestly if I was able to give this place no stars, I would. My sister-in-law recommended Luv for some pre-wedding pampering I was planning as a MoH. She said that it was pretty inside and that she had seen other bridal parties here before. So, I called to make a reservation for five and was told they needed a $100 deposit that I would be able to apply to any services on the day of the reservation. That seemed pretty steep, but I didn't know where else to go, so I made the reservation and paid the deposit. I was told that I could change services, but they needed to know in advance about acrylics. None of us wanted acrylics, so that didn't seem to be a problem.The week of the wedding, two of the bride's nails broke, and she ended up wanting acrylics. I called the salon that morning as soon as they opened and no one answered the phone. I ended up having to call for about two hours before I finally got someone on the phone. When I explained the situation, they informed me there was no way that they could do acrylics, even though I was letting them know well ahead of the time of our appointment. They said they didn't have any there they could even do acrylics. I've never heard of this before unless a salon just doesn't offer acrylic services. They weren't apologetic, and they wouldn't give me my deposit back even though conditions had changed. I found another awesome salon where the bride was able to get her nails done before everyone else.Needless to say, I was not thrilled to give them my business, but they held my deposit, so we had no other choice. The two women working at the reception desk were extremely rude and seemed very disorganized. When I made the reservation, I had asked if there was table to set up some wine, and they said yes. The table was the community coffee table in the waiting area where other customers were sitting. Thanks for that. Then way the place is set up, the mother of the bride was only getting her nails done, and she was taken into the far back depths of the place, so we couldn't even see her or talk to her. So much for a bonding experience. The way the place is sectioned off, there are only three chairs together, so if you go with more than two people, you won't be able to talk to them. I had planned a few tame bachelorette-type games to play, and one of the technicians wouldn't stop trying to talk to the bride's sister in law so that we could play and enjoy each other's company.When the nail technician did my gel manicure, she didn't soften my cuticles before cutting them, so it was really uncomfortable. She then turned the light all the way up, and it seemed like it was burning my nail beds, which was also incredibly uncomfortable. Midway through my manicure, another technician came over and started bothering her about using the light because she needed it. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The place has so many chairs, and there weren't many other customers, so I'm not sure why another light wasn't available. When I told the technician about the acrylics issue, she gave me some advice about making reservations that would probably go against company policy. But, I didn't need the advice because I definitely won't be back.Even after the acrylics fiasco and trying to have a nice time, this place seriously sucked. When I walked in I was surprised to see it so nicely decorated. Looked like an upscale spa, unfortunately the only positive in this place. First of all, terrible customer service, the nail techs looked like they all just rolled out of bed, and just graduated cos school. On top of that my nail tech told me it would be 12 $/nail for nail art!! Ha yeah I walked out and went across the street to creative nails where I was super pleased!! there's a lot of pros and cons about this place. Pros: cheap prices for services, relaxing atmosphere, tons of TV's with all-you-can-watch HGTV, amazing pedicure massage chairs, convenient location, they're open 7 days a week, and my toes ended up looking great! Cons: the reception staff appeared lazy or bored, some of the techs weren't very professional in appearance, and even though i was on time for my appointment i had to wait an extra 15 minutes or so for it to begin. Lastly, I was kind of on the fence about how my nail tech told me she had just gotten her license, but she did a great job so i will go back to her. everyone's gotta start somewhere. Read Less
