Very disappointing.  Had made appointment weeks ahead at 4:30 for four of us.  A girls night before the holidays.  Arrived and first person wasn't taken until 5 and then after three were taken another customer was taken ahead of our forth person.   Then lady was very nasty and said it's not her fault and that we were told that it they may not be able to get us all in together which was never said.  Had we been told that ahead we may have made other arrangements.  Owner not apologetic at at.  Two of us did not get our nails done at all.  Will not go back Read Less

I drive 45 min to get my nails done here. I have tried other local places but Pretty Nails by far does the best job, which is why I have been coming here for over 3 years now. Def worth it. They are very friendly and the shop is very clean. Read Less

Skin on my feet were taken down WAY too low by the young man. I had pain and blisters from too much skin removal. The women have attitudes here. Argumentative, cocky and smart mouth attitudes. You have an appointment and you are delayed, phone is ringing, etc. etc.. It is not a professional manner how I have been treated here. It got worse over time. I needed my nails done when I was in town and was really dreading the cost, since I'm used to the dirt cheap NYC prices. Pretty Nails did not disappoint! I felt like I was back at home. Jonathan was awesome. He was a great conversationalist and did an amazing job on my nails. One of the downsides of gel manicures is that as they grow out the part of the polish that was once at the base of your nails can get caught on things (especially hair!) if your manicure wasn't done very well. This didn't happen with a single nail of mine. I had the polish on for at least two weeks after I had my nails done here and you would have had no idea. My nails grew out seamlessly and the polish didn't catch on anything, because it was applied so smoothly! Will definitely go back again if I'm in Cleveland and in need of a manicure! I was also impressed with the selection of gel polish; lots of businesses will feature a wide range of gel polishes, but once you pick one they'll say they're out and offer you something "similar"...not the case here! First, the manicurist I saw did an excellent job on my gel nails with shellac manicure.However, my experience was far from relaxing... I type for a living and I have an anxiety disorder on top of it. Therefore, I am used to nail techs reminding me that I hold my hands too stiffly. I do try to relax my hands but the nail tech I saw at my visit prattled on relentlessly about how my stiffness made her job so much more difficult and how short my natural nails are and telling me I must of jammed both of my naturally curved pinky's. Maybe I would have been able to relax better had I not been criticized the entire time I was seated.     Then,a client came in and asked to get a pedicure while she was waiting for my manicurist (in the last hour) and they obliged but they "forgot" that I came in for gel nails AND a pedicure as soon as my gels were done I was told I would have to come back for a pedicure because they have no time. So the person doing my basic shellac took 2 HOURS!!!! I paid for a mani and all he did was my cuticles they were very argumentative with me when I told them my polish choices and rude. I would NOT recommend going there unless you have nothing better to do. Read Less

It's been a week since I got my nails done here and first my left ring finger started to hurt and seemed lose or something. Now my left pinky nail is the same way. Not to add that I wanted a full set coffin shape nails and when I call to make am appointment I was told they do them but I guess on woman only does it, so I didn't get the shape I wanted. I don't know what's wrong with my nails but I have never had this happen when I've gotten my nails done. Disappointed and never coming back. Read Less

Visited Pretty Nails for the first time day, as it is very close to my work and I wanted to get in & out on my lunch hour.  I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and they took me right away for my pedicure.  Mylinh was my technician - she was so sweet and very pleasant.  We chatted a bit as she completed the pedicure.  She did a fabulous job!  Took the time to really get my callouses smoothed down, excellent job on the cuticles, and the polish turned out beautiful.  The location itself was clean and uncluttered, and (as another reviewer stated) no-frills.  That's how I like my salon... reasonably priced, nothing fancy or snooty - just a nice, clean place with friendly people.  Pretty Nails will be my new go-to for pedicures! I've gotten a few manicures on the west side at swank hair salons, but none of those experiences compare to Pretty Nails. I came in for my first ever full set (usually I just do polish on my natural nails) and walked out with gorgeous results. I paid $47 before tax for a full gel set with shellac polish and an accent finger. The staff is friendly, positive, patient, and attentive. The owner saw to me personally and I can't wait to return -- a feeling I know many others have, as the women next to me were repeat customers of several years. All the manicure seats were full at 6:30pm on a Tuesday! The salon is clean and no-frills, sitting unassumingly in a strip mall near Great Northern. Read Less

I came to Pretty Nails after trying multiple times to get into a local nail salon for a pedicure (Riya's Nails). I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was seen. The salon was by no means empty. They had a full salon with 3 techs working. They were juggling things so efficiently! All of the staff here is very friendly! They welcomed me openly and had me soaking in minutes. It's apparent that many people around here love this salon as some of their long standing customers stopped by to chat and get serviced. They actually converse with you and their prices are very reasonable. A pedicure starts around $30. John did my nails. He is very sociable and gentle yet efficient. I am very picky about my pedicures but he delivered! My feet look great! Pretty nails is a hidden gem in this area. It's not as flashy and modern as some salons but the nail techs are talented and make you feel special.I'd recommend them any day and I will be back again! Read Less

Was really excited to try this place out because of the price, and I am really disappointed. Both thumbs chipped the very next day. The nail tech checked my toe nails to make sure they were dry and put my socks on, to go home and see my toe nail polish was smudged. Read Less

I was able to walk right in on a Friday morning and get manicures for myself and two younger cousins. We all got gel manicures and we are all so pleased with how they turned out!! I moved here from NYC and have been looking all over for a nail place like they have on every corner of NY where you can just pop in whenever and get a great no frills mani or pedi -- this is the closest I've found to NYC ... now if only the nail places here had the same cheapey prices as NYC (oddly, nails shops are the one thing that's more expensive in Ohio than NYC!). Best place friendly clean awesome people they always get right my nails right every time ..they will remember you and what you like ..The nail techs are so friendly, funny and caring.  If you want your nails done right head over there my favorite nail tech is Lynn I've known her for way over 10 yrs .
