They are so rude! No customer service skills. You always have to wait. I went to fix one nail that broke ( only a couple days after they filled them) and the guy with the round face started fixing it.. all was going well til he had to match my color. I told him/showed him the color that was used, plus it was on my other 9 nails lol pink- he comes back with brown and says the number matches. I said well that’s a 9 not a six- he proceeds to paint my one nail brown- I said no that’s not the right color- he went and came back with fuchsia! Then he had the nerve to get irritated with me - told me to move to the other seat so he could start on the next person! He didn’t even paint my nail! So I got up, found the color, and painted it myself because he said he wasn’t going to do it even though I had the correct color in my hand. He ignored me! I will NEVER go there again!! Read Less

Was one of the worst pedicures I have ever gotten . Nails were not cut down like i asked ,I don't think he understood . The massage was nothing more than a few minutes of basically putting on the scrub. The essential oil is nothing more than water mixed with a a few drops of peppermint.(I work with essential oils). When I got seated for my pedicure, the water was way too hot so I asked the tech to make it a bit cooler. He rolled his eyes but did something to the water and asked if it was ok. I put my foot in and it was even hotter. I told him again it was too hot. So he adjusted it and we got started. He was extremely rough when removing the dead skin from my feet to the point that he cut the side of my foot with the tool that looks like a cheese grater. Then he dug around the sides and underneath the nails of my big toes and cliped the skin there. He said he was removing ingrown nails, but it was an extremely painful experience that left my nails sore and an angry red color. Then he rushed through the massage portion while watching the t.v. behind my shoulder. After putting on the skin mask he went to a nail station and started playing on his phone with his gloves still on. He didn't change them when he came back either. Finally durring the hot stone massage he held the extremely hot stone to the bottom of my foot until I had to yank my foot away necause it hurt so bad. My polish job was ok, but he left in the middle of it and let another tech finish because another customer came in and wanted a full set of nails. I treated my fiancé to a spa treatment before our wedding. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I'm really upset with the work that was done for $215. And the warm bottle of Aldi champagne for $25 ($6 at Aldi). I've never had a worse pedicure in my life. One coat of paint and no clean up. The massage was decent but I was looking to have dry skin removed for the wedding. I wanted a pink and white ombré airbrush, but instead they did pink and white acrylics which were an extra $20 that I was unaware of. My cuticles were untouched and from wedding stress they NEEDED to be. After the acrylic was thickly applied, there was no drilling, shaping, or any sort of thinning out by the nail bed, so they look and feel as if they're going to pull my natural nail off. I would have liked to of gone back and had them fixed, but we had guests coming into town and my schedule did not permit for a second trip. I've been to this salon before which is why I chose it for my wedding needs, but after this experience and overcharging for a very very poor job and poor customer service I will not be returning. I always enjoy my trips to Le Grand Orchid. I haven't found a better hot stone pedicure in the Greater Cleveland area. They offer many different manicure and pedicure options. They also offer different herbal treatment options. My favorite is the Eucalyptus-Peppermint. I have always felt like they take their time with you and really want to please the customer and do a job well done. Being indecisive, they're always patient with me as I select and then change my color over and over again. While I've never utilized the option, they do have a bar so you can order drinks. There's nowhere I'd prefer to go for a pedicure. If you stop in, see if the owner is working. She's the best and most thorough. Read Less

I really wanted to like this place, I did. Everyone was very friendly with us and very hospitable. I came in and got a "classic combo." This was the classic herbal pedi and a gel manicure. The pedicure/spa experience was very nice, they massaged your legs with essential oils, a scrub, and gave a great foot massage. This piece was the best I've experienced. However, the actual pedicure was not great. My toes look like I had painted them, not neat or clean, and he cut/knicked me in several places on my big toe (ouch!). I also found the bottom of my feet could have used a better scrub down, they still had some nasty on them. For $44 for the pedicure alone I would have expected better. The guy was super nice though, I have no complaints about the people's attitudes. The manicure wasn't any better, unfortunately. It's probably one of the worst I've had. Just sloppy, with a few knicks on my one finger. They just don't look great, and again, for $40 I would have expected a lot better. Total bill was $88 (before tip.) I probably overtipped but my guy was so nice and really did spend a lot of time on my nails, he just wasn't very skillful. HORRIBLE!!! Paid $76.00 for a child's pedi that was pretty much feet in water, polish and crappy design. Her mani was nails polished! My pedi, which I said I needed just a quick one, was water, clipped a little skin around nails, didn't file down broken nail, polish and another horrible design! I should've have read the reviews before I came here today. I figured it looked decent so it had it had to be good, right? So very wrong. It took them forever to acknowledge me and when I finally sat down, the first thing I noticed when I sat down was the overpowering smell of moldy towels. Yuck. The lady who did my nails was nice, she just didn't do the greatest job on my toes. Seriously, what she did, I could've done myself. This place has horrible customer service. I came here with my sister in law and there were only three people physically being serviced. My sister and I waited patiently at the counter after signing in and finally after close to ten minutes someone walked to the counter to see what we needed. Right when the female nail tech was going to service us, the male nail tech that had ignored us the entire time said "no, we have 4 appointments due to come in right now, so you can make an appointment for another day and come back." They were due to close in 1.5hr, with no other waiting customers in sight. There is no sign that says appointment only. Very rude. My husband and I have been coming here for a year now and have always had good friendly service. But today 6/22/17 me and my sister in law came here and were totally treated rudely because I feel they just didn't want to service us.. there were 4 women in total in the salon, 2 were finishing up there and the other 2 were half way into their pedicures... we were standing at the counter for 15min before the guy finally decided to acknowlege us. First thing he asks was did we have appointments, I replied no , and I've NEVER needed one before .... he put his head down and started whispering something to his client she then turned and smirked . A woman came from the towel room and started to prepare seats for us, until the same guy look up and told her something and then she stopped and said o we have appointments for the rest of the day we can't take you (while looking at a blank screen ) .. so overall I was highly upset because I never had a problem with them before , I've spent alot of money with this establishment, but I've learned my lesson and will spend my money elsewhere..... Took myself and my boyfriends daughter here for a pedi Tuesday June 13, the tech who worked on Lilly who is just six was very kind however the woman who took care of my feet was so rude! I was there to relax and spend time with the little one and the entire time I felt like I was being bossed around for not putting my feet in the correct places. Not to mention I had a dress on so it was kind of hard in the first place. Not only was the woman rude but incredibly rough on my feet as well to the point that she cut on just slightly. She did not talk to me the entire time. I was hesitant to say something but having the little one with me I did not want to cause a seen. The lady who did my nails was rude and not helpful at all when asked questions. I asked for short square nails and she filed them so much they look like little girl nails. They are not even with my other hand and the straight white line that I asked for isn't the same on the nails. Some nails the manicure line is curved. Very bad customer service. Owner quoted the wrong price in the beginning. In the end changed the price and added on additional charges. The nail tech didn't advise a certain color would be extra. This is a beautiful place by looking at it, I cannot remember the nail techs name who did my nails. I went in for a fill and gel polish. My nails look like crap and my pink polish is turning brown. I don't want to go back because I don't want my nails to look even worse. I will never go back here. I was told one price and charged another. The owner is rude to not only to her employees but the customers as well. Its as if we are inconveniencing her to get out of the massage chair to have her remove her earbuds to actually interact with customers. I've had appointments at 10:00 am when they open, well the owner was 30 minutes late. She is the only one with keys to open. For the lack of customer service and attitude by 95% of the employees, this place is way overpriced. I only return to this location for one reason and one reason only COLE. Visited this salon on a Sunday afternoon with two of my friends for a mani day. The check in process was a bit chaotic. No staff member could give us an estimated wait time. They just asked for our phone number and said they would call us. Luckily, we had some other things to do at the mall so it wasn't that big of a deal. Once they were ready for us one of my friends went to get a pedicure and myself and my other friend were instructed to sit for our manicures. My two other friends were started and I had to sit and watch because a staff member was not available for me. It was kind of annoying not getting our nails done together like we intended. Then when my nails got started my friends had to wait for me. The express manicure itself was good and I was happy with it. I just wish my overall experience was better. Poor communication from the workers. Once you pick your manicure or pedicure from their menu they will add on costs without telling you. In the end my $60 mani pedi cost me $106. When you question isn't a cuticle trim a part of a manicure they say yes but still charge an additional $15 because they trimmed your cuticles. I will never go back here again they are a rip off. Everything was going great until checkout. The two gentlemen that did both my cousins and my nails told us that the relaxation scents that they put on your legs came with the pedicure. It's my cousins wedding on Saturday. So I called this place ahead of time with a price of 70$ in mind. Anything more than that is ridiculous. Long story short, they lied and it was a scam. Don't listen to them when they say it's included. The manager didn't even listen to us when we tried to explain what happened and walked away during the middle of our conversation because she was not going to consider that we the customers are always right. I have worked in the serving field for most of my life. I would never make a customer unhappy so they would go on here and write a bad review. Very unprofessional and we will never go back. I had to leave a poor tip because the bill was 20 bucks higher than what we were told it would be. Maybe after they read this review, they will reconsider how they treat their costumers and point to the prices and double check before assuming people who are new to the place to know that it was extra!! If I could give negative 5 stars I would! On Friday my friends and I got mani/pedis at this place. They had no one to greet us which was fine but they didn't seem organized. I had been there before and Cole took care of me. She was amazing and did flawless work so I assumed I would be receiving the same level of professionalism and quality that Cole had given me the time before. To my surprise, it was not the same at all. Chris did my nails. Barely said two words to me the whole time. I was trying to make small talk but it was like pulling teeth. He clearly hated his job and didn't try to hide it. I asked him why he was not in a good mood and he explained that he had been there since 10am. It was 7pm so I understood where he was coming from but there should alway be a level of professionalism and customer service. At checkout, the owner,that's right I said owner, was EXTREMELY rude to one of her workers as she kicked her off the cash register and stepped in to ring us out. She, the owner, started badmouthing her employee to me and my friends. I wasn't having it and started defending the employee and telling her to not say those things. The owner continued to cash us out and when she was finished she said "Ok go home now. Bye bye". We were so taken back by that! Who are you to talk anyone like that, let alone paying customers! That's not the end folks, the next morning I would up to my nails being chipped. Not one or 2 but 7nails! I paid $6 extra to get french tip and they chipped within a 12 hour period of time! What!?! I had a wedding to attend over the weekend and couldn't go back until today but I called her that same morning explaining who I was and what package I got. She(the owner) told me to come in the next day. I was unable to make it on Sunday so I called and rescheduled, again she told me to come in and she would handle it. I told her I would have to come in on my lunch break so I had limited time and she understood. I walked in there today ON MY LUNCH BREAK to have them fix my nails and she came to the counter telling me that she would have to charge me to fix them! She said there was nothing she could do because they weren't "under warranty" when I left the salon. She made me come to the salon just to tell me she she could "fix" it but she would have to charge me for the service! I wanted to surprise my team of 10 employees with manicures, as a thank you for hard work in meeting an important deadline.  I called Le Grand Orchid to make the appointment for 10 of us.  The gentleman I spoke with said they would be able to do 5 of us at a time, and then the other 5 immediately after.  Perfect!  We would be in and out in 1.5 hours tops.We showed up for the appointment and the "owner" (who wouldn't even look me in the eye) told us they were short staffed, and could only take one person at a time.  I told her that was unacceptable, that we had made the appointment, and relayed to her what I was told when booking.  She was adamant that nobody told me that.  OK so I lied?  Horrible customer service.  We ended up going to the other nail place in the mall, which gladly fit us in with no problem.Not sure how our manicures would have turned out, but due to the terrible service, I'll never find out! This place looks nice and the staff is nice but the skill level of the nail techs are terrible.  I spent over 100 bucks plus tip for a pedicure and solar nails.  Chris the nail tech didn't put a top coat on my toes and they never dried so the assistant manager fixed my toes and applied a top coat.  The Tracy who did my nails didn't push back my cuticles and the sides of my nails were lifting as she did my nails.  When I mentioned the lifting she said,"it doesn't matter b/c you are getting  oval nails".  Then my gel coat on my nail has chipped and the nails have  slid down.  They look like I need a fill in and I just got them done not even a whole 5 days ago.  Never returning and I wish I could get my money back. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. My friend booked 5 appointments a week and a half early so we expected to have great service. They were short staffed and overbooked so 2 out of the group sat for 1 hr till we were served. When I finally got served the lady literally scrubbed skin off of my big toe and the heel when trying to get calluses off. The next day when I went to put my tennis shoes on I noticed the scab and redness. She also missed painting my pinky toe nail. We got the herbal combo so when it was time for my manicure I had to remind her to do the scrub. Within 2 days my nails were chipping and I hadn't even done anything to them. After a couple days the cut hadn't gotten any better so I went back to the salon and asked them what they would do to help me. They pretty much said it was my fault for being young and having fair skin and that sometimes the callus remover can be strong but just to clean it and keep checking. I didn't need any education on how to clean a cut but expected a refund for a crappy job. I will NOT be going back here and will make sure to tell my family and friends of the horrible business. When I went in for a new set of "gel" nails they told me they could do them. Once they were done with my pedi they say me down with a different girl to do my nails. She took out some powder for the "gel". Mind you I have been doing my nails for over 7 years and I have NEVER had a powdered substance for gel nails. My last nail girl knew she couldn't use acrylic because I'm very oily and the nails start to reject the powder after a few days and get those air pockets. I did tell the girl that and she said they don't use the liquid gel only the powdered and that the powdered was gel because it had sparkly stuff in it???? I'm very unhappy as I paid over $170 plus tips to 3 different people as my daughter received services as well. I will NEVER return to this place again! Read Less

I tried this salon twice, the salon itself is nice and they have a large selection of gel polish. My main issue is with the gel manicure. Both times it was done poorly, too thick, polish didn't completely cover the nail, and the designs that I paid extra for were very sloppy. Excellent work!  A spa that has many other services.  I was able to get an apt easily, as I could've walked in without an apt as well.   They asked if wanted a beverage, coffee, water or tea.  Very nice.  I had acrylics done. This is a new nail salon inside Great Northern Mall. It is humongous compared to Le Nails... about the size of the Anthony Vince salon at Crocker. There are two schools of people who get their nails professionally done: Those who like sitting in total silence and those who try to create familiarity with the stranger who they are essentially holding hands with for a half hour. I'm more of the latter, so I was a little disappointed that the girl who did my nails here was not very friendly. However, she did a great job on my nails and I was happy overall with the $16 manicure.The inside of this place looks and is decorated like every nouveau riche McMansion I've ever seen. They apparently do waxing, body wraps, facials, etc. I don't think I'd get any of those services done here, but would definitely return for another express manicure. Read Less
