Was my favorite place until I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time, then didn't get the tech I requested. The one time I went to a new nail place, my nails are completely butchered. I asked for basically stiletto, and I get oval. Also, I got nicked with the tool they use on both of my thumbs and bled and didn’t bother to apologize. Not to mention, globs of color so my nails didn’t dry fully so I have messed up polish. I went for a manicure and it wasn’t very good! My cuticles didn’t look any different! She didn’t file my nails so they were all the same length! When she polished my nails they had marks in them!!!!!i had to ask her to redo some! !she was a college student at Akron university! She needs to be in school and not working ! We made an appointment over a week in advance for 4 people. They had 3 of us on one end and one person at the other end. We said we wanted to wait until we could sit together. I have gone there often due to the fact that 8 out of 10 times I get great service. Yes you have to wait, especially in the summer, but to me it is worth it. If you want to get in quicker make an appointment with a certain nail tech. Most of them are great . You may still have to wait till they are done with the client that they have, but it's a lot easier than signing in and waiting. Read Less

I waited almost two hours to get a quick polish change on my toes and nails and I watched people get called back before me who have gotten there way after I have. I was very irritated with the service and I had to leave with only a polish change on my toes and not my nails because it took to long and I had places to be. Overall, my mother and I got manicures and pedicures that turned out nice and pretty but one of the additional services I got wasn't worth getting. They squeezed me in even though I had no appointment. Their prices are fair and color selection is great. Im imposed with the safe and hygienic procedures and concerns for chemicals around their employees. Very impressed! They were thorough and my pedicurist even went back to cut my nails shorter when I changed my mind. Great! Loved the neighborhood too. Read Less

I have been getting my nails done for 6 years-- usually at the same salon. My girl books up a month ahead of time so lately I've had a hard time getting in for a fill. I went in to this salon today as a back up. I made an appointment yesterday. I got there and was told that I would have to wait because "appointments got to go first". I didn't put that I had an appointment on the sheet because it didn't say so and I figured they'd look at their appointment book and see my name. Thankfully I got there when they opened so I didn't wait too long. The tech I got (I'm going to assume the owner, it was a male) was not exactly outgoing. I told him I knew my nails were bad because I had been trying to get in somewhere for weeks but my work schedule makes it difficult as I work 11-7 most days. He commented about the extra work he would have to put in. Didn't speak much. Pointed at things rather than saying "next hand" or anything. So that experience was slightly awkward. On the positive side, he paid a ton of detail to my nails and made sure they looked even. He made sure the polish was all over the nail and didn't miss any spots. He definitely did a very good job- so no complaints there. So, I didn't give 5 stars because I did not think my tech was very personable. But I'm giving 4 because otherwise, the place was clean and my nails were well done. The place was packed with regulars so I assume most people come back. Read Less

Hands down the best place for a mani pedi. I almost didn't write this review in fear that everyone will know my secret place and then have nightmares about not being able to get an appointment. Linn, Brian and Van do impeccable pedicures. They last an hour so if you are in a hurry, keep walking. One word about their pedicures. Perfection.
