Giovanni's Salon/Spa has the best service, products, and the most knowledgeable and courteous staff available, and I'll never go to any other salon.For 34 years, I've tried a plethora of salons within the US-for almost every hair style-fad available-and none of their staff were capable of styling, cutting, or coloring my hair to my satisfaction- I always felt like I had settled for what they wanted to do, not what I wanted to have done.I never have any of these issues at Giovanni's, and my loyalty to their staff will never waiver due to their helpfulness and courteous nature!          -Novena S Read Less

I have been going to Giovanni's for years, once in a while going somewhere else, or even out of state. I have never found a place that was better. Spotless shop with staff that can do it all... We chose this place because they were able to do hair and makeup and were close to my wedding venue. I got my trial hair done with them and it was fine but when I asked about trial makeup or to at least see some pictures they said don't worry about it because their girl is great. This concerned me a little but I had faith. Big mistake.I had my hair done first which was just curled down so that was easy and looked normal. For my bridesmaids I showed them a picture of a low messy bun but for every one of them they just pin curled their hair and then gave them a basic updo. No bun to be found. One of my bridesmaids had her makeup done first and when I saw she was done it just looked like she had done her own makeup. Nothing special about it except that she had said use nude colors and I saw a lot of purple. My makeup is when I really started to panic. I showed the makeup "professional" a picture of myself with my makeup done by someone else. So that should be pretty easy to copy because it's my own face that I am showing her a picture of but that was not the case. She just did her own thing and got frustrated with me when I tried to explain what I really wanted and to fix things.We were able to fix things but it was not a relaxing experience before a wedding. I have been with Kristy for a while now. First the cuts, then the color, now highlights. I love her work! She always fits me in her busy schedule if I don't have an appointment. It is a top notch salon and her excellent customer service. Her and her staff go above and beyond. I have many laughs when I leave. Giovanni's was a great experience for me. I drove from Bath, Ohio to have Lisa Boyle cut and style my hair and I am so happy! The salon is efficient, warm, friendly and has plenty of hair and skin products.
