My pedi was done horribly by a nail tech that made me bleed 3 times while attempting to do my nails. None of the instruments look like they were sanitized. My blood was blotted off with the used cotton ball. My gel mani came off in 4 days. I went back and they redid it for free. Then it came off again 2 days after that. Though pleasant people to accompanied by, the quality of work is horrific. I called ahead to insure they had shellac after being told yes, I arrived to completely different answer. I decided to go ahead with the SNS but, that was a mistake. I showed my nail tech a photo and she said she could do it! Wrong! Not only did she cut my nails shorter then I had asked but, they are also really uneven. My nails have bumps all over them (they look like the bill on a platypus). Completely disappointed! I went last weekend, got there pretty much when they opened. I had a pic of what I wanted, nothing crazy, just pearl white. I got a gel mani/pedi. My technician, whose name was Kim was completely rude and not very nice. I tried talking to her a couple of times, but gave up when she very obviously was not interested in interacting with me. Fine, whatever. My fingernails looked nothing like what I had asked for. Oh well onto the pedi. I told he...r just make them match what my fingernails looked like. She tried to talk me out of gel. She said it cost more. REALLY! I explained to her I was going on vacation and I wanted gel. I think she didn't want to spend the time to do it. She never smiled once and was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. My toes ended up looking nothing like my fingernails. I thought, ok maybe it's the light in the salon. However, once I got out to my car, in the daylight and saw how horrible they looked, I marched right back in. She tried, I guess, to fix it, but I am still not happy. Please AVOID this place !!!! They overcharge you for everything in the world. First I had to wait 20 min while multiple people sat around on their phones and didn't say one word to me. Rude! I came in for fill and pedicure. The girl Kim asked if I wanted dip which I have already tried and told her no. She kept talking about it nonstop even though I already said I wasn't interested she kept harassing me so much that I finally agreed to it (unfortunrtely). I didn't like the sha...pe or length of my nails that of course I was charged extra for. After I was done and she told me the total was $60 my jaw hit the floor!!! I have never paid that much in my life for a fill in so I decided not to go through with pedicure since everything was so expensive. Needless to say only 5 DAYS later this dip made all my nails start falling off one by one !!!! Compete RIPOFF!!! I love MK nails! I have tried other nail salons in the past and have always ended up sticking with MK nails. I have been going there for about two years. Kim and Mike always do exactly what I want or better. They also know their clients very well, I hadn't been in in a couple months and Kim complimented my hair cut. I came in just for a fill in, one nail repaired, and a star on each ring finger. The technician spent a chunk of my appointment on her phone. After 45 minutes of her working she still wasn't finished. my fiance at this point had to leave me there and pick me up later after he ran errands, because it was taking so long. So I was in a hurry to try and get it moving so I wouldnt have to wait. At one point he came over to talk to me briefly,while she was filing my fill in, afte...r placing the new acrylic. I then was told to wash my hands. She painted my nails. Had to redo the star twice, and I ended up only with one. As I am under the fan for my nails to dry, I pulls my hands out to look. And my left hand nails are about half the length of my right hand. Which they charged an extra $3 for the "length". I talk to the guy who seemed to be the manager, because the girl couldn't be found. And he tells me she can just shorten my right nails. Which defeats the whole purpose. And then he said I would be charged. The girl then comes out and talks to me. Saying it's my nails. that I didn't check in the middle. And at no point do I recall her checking length to match. Which they did match when I came in. This is my favorite place to get my nails done! I always have excellent service and am never disappointed. If they are ever busy they make sure that every customer is taken care of, and they make sure if they are too booked for a walk in appointments, they schedule a time later that day or the very next day. I just recently had my nails done with Kim  and she was FABULOUS! She was very engaging and friendly and did one of the best set of acrylics I have ever had! She is kind and caters to the customers ever need and makes sure that they are satisfied with the job she did and fixes things if needed.
