I have been coming her for about a month now and my first couple experiences were okay but the last couple have been awful so I will not be coming back. The service is hit and miss depending on who you get but none of them that I have had are really all that great to where I requested them every time. They can be pushy and rude. I get acrylic nails with gel top coat and after about a week I notice all the edges starting to lift, by the middle of the next week most of if not all of them have lifted and I am at the end of two weeks now just had a nail fall off. I have been getting acrylics off and on for years now and I have never had my nails just fall off before and they usually always last 2 weeks or more without lifting, just grow out like they are supposed to. I don't know what they are doing wrong but something is not right at this salon and I also feel it is very dirty. Read Less

I went here not even a week ago and I'm highly disappointed. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. The day after my manicure the polish already chipped. It's not even a week later and the polish is peeling off and pretty chipped. You can see brush strokes in my polish. The lady doing my nails rushed through it since there were other people in. This is a great option for nail care in the area. I did a gel mani and pedicure, and they stock exclusively OPI colors for polish and shellac. I was in and out very quickly, and the facility was lovely. The price is $30 for the gel mani, with the shellac change being $20. I haven't been to many salons in this area, but it seemed very reasonable. Read Less

When I first moved to centerville I decided to try to find a place closer to my new house. Initially I was apprehensive. Tools were not in sterile bags. No liners for the pedicure bowls.my technician struggled to remove gel pedicure and rushed through cuticle removal. They do not offer any waxing services. I'm used to pedicures lasting 3-4 weeks with minimal touch ups. This pedicure barely made it 2 weeks. The young lady who gave me a pedicure did not finish my nails with a top coat to seal the polish. She was extremely rough on my feet and cut out the corners of my big toenails. I'm extremely disappointed with this salon. Read Less

This was my first visit to Galaxy Nail Spa and I was thoroughly impressed! I arrived right when they opened so I only had to wait a few minutes why they got everything ready. They were pretty busy, but my friend and I still got to sit next to each other and enjoy our spa day. My pedicure was wonderful! Very relaxing and just what my poor feet needed. This was my second time at Galaxy Nail Spa. Most recently, my sister and I enjoyed pedicures while our mother received a manicure. Although appointments are not required, we had made one the night before as we were advised they had a group of six coming in mid-morning. Our service was scheduled for and started right at 8:30. Having had pedicures at numerous nails spots over the years, I can say that no place is ever really the same. What I really like about Galaxy Nail Spa is that the technician spent a significant amount of time on my feet. Not only did she pull on the razor (with safety blade), she used a couple other tools to exfoliate my feet. Gross, I know, but that's the point of getting a pedicure, right? Granted, I know it can sometimes depend on the tech, but I truly enjoyed the service that I received. By the way, they offer a couple types of pedicures, but what I had was the base service at $30. They advertise a male and female version, but I don't think there is anything different other than opting in/out for nail polish. I was in town and needed my nails done. I called and asked if they did Liquid Gel nails. I was told "yes" so I made an appointment. The manicurist began removing and cleaning my nails to prepare for the fill. Then she brought out the "gel" powder. I told her that I had come in for liquid gels. She told me that she was doing that. I explained to her what I expected (liquid base and liquid top coat) and she became very rude. She pulled out the top coat bottle that is "liquid gel" and tried to tell me that no one who is any good does complete liquid gels. I explained to her that I was allergic to the acrylic and again she was rude, starting talking to the woman next to her in a very nasty tone which I know was directed at me and then proceeded to tell me that that I was being ridiculous. She pushed the fact that the powder was a "gel powder" and not acrylic. She started putting on the "gel" powder and before she got to the second hand my first hand was already red and irritated. I told her that I know had proof that she was using acrylic and to remove it immediately because I couldn't continue. Again, I was met with her rude attitude.  She removed the acrylic and then proceeded to try and CHARGE me for everything. Read Less
