My sister in law and I went there today for the first time. We both got a pedicure and I got a shellac manicure. First of all this place is absolutely lovely! It smells like a spa when you walk in the door! Kat is such a very lovely lady, she took great care of the both of us!!! After scouring the tri-county area for a place that offered lash lifts rather than lash extensions, I finally found Kat Lotus. I had heard about the procedure, and I felt it was the perfect solution for my droopy, curl-resistant lashes (seriously, I've tried every lash curler I could find!). I perused the website, and noted that they offer an online booking system. I think this is awesome as many times it can be difficult to coordinate scheduling over the phone, however I did end up calling to make my appointment as I had some questions about the procedure. The owner, Kat, was the one that answered the phone, and she was really patient with me and my questions. She explained the procedure from beginning to end, and prepared me for how long it would take and what results I could expect. I was really happy to find that they offer early appointments, I was able to come in as early as 8:00am so I could get the procedure done before work that day. When I came in the salon, I do have to admit I found it a bit tacky and a little messy as well. That being said, for the price I was paying for the procedure, I couldn't really complain all that much. The room she placed me in was small but adequate. She again explained the procedure step by step and made sure I was comfortable. The lash lift itself has 3 steps I believe, in short, it's a perm for your lashes, making them curl from root to tip. Kat was very careful to use caution to cover the entire eye area to prevent anything from getting in my eye while administering the solutions, and also was sure to ask me a few times if I had any sensitivities or allergies. The whole procedure lasted about 45 minutes. Kat was sure to take a before and after picture so I could see my results, but I didn't need to... the results were really obvious right after I opened my eyes... who knew my eyelashes could look so great!? I was really happy with the results, and she told me they are estimated to last anywhere from 8-12 weeks, and I could return whenever the results diminished. She also said I would have no issues using makeup or oils even after the procedure. I was particularly worried about any side effects from the procedure (I've heard horror stories about lashes falling out after lash extensions) but I'm about 2 weeks out now and my lashes still look full and amazing, and I haven't experienced any side effects. I definitely will be returning for the procedure, and for the reasonable price I'm surprised everyone isn't doing this! I also want to mention that Kat seemed like a very kind, friendly person, which also made me want to return. Definitely recommend for those ladies that want to ditch the lash curler! Read Less

So happy I found this place. It's in the back of a kinda empty plaza, but have no worries. Kat is amazing, and her place is super cute.  The Spa Manicure was relaxing, especially with the hot towels and scrub. I'll definitely be returning. Read Less

I booked an appointment for a few friends and I to get pedis (and one mani.)We were so glad they could accommodate all of us at the same time! The environment was perfect for us gals to catch up and get a lil pampering. Kat and Bay were exactly what we needed! Sisters who love what they do and let it show! They were attentive and skilled, let us chat but were so sweet when we engaged them in conversation! Their option for "green" products is amazing!
