I had the darkest, most black hair and for a while I've been wanting to go platinum blonde. However, I was scared of how most salons would go through with the process, and if I would have to cut it short or if it would end up frying off. Laura and Meghan were my saints. They literally spent hours on my hair (hair is to mid-lower back) and went through every step of the process in detail. Being a multiple visit process, they would not let me leave the salon unless it was a suitable color to walk outside in, from recoloring my hair after bleach to retouching my roots right after. Seriously with the amount of energy and work they put into my hair, I don't think anywhere else would've pulled through with as much care and consideration. More bonuses: super friendly atmosphere, the hours flew by and you don't feel as though you're just another customer. Very skilled when it comes to choosing color and what to use on your hair. They're constantly researching new products and technology. After having my whole head bleached, my hair felt the same if not SMOOTHER than before I came in. Laura takes the time to listen to what you want and gives suggestions and advice. She is warm and caring and takes her time. My hair looks fabulous. The color is fantastic. Been going to Laura Storey for over 2 years. She is professional and extremely good at applying and mixing color. I NEVER feel like she is rushed or has a quota to meet as I did with stylists in other high volume salons. She gives me personalized treatment and is detail oriented. The salon is gorgeous and the ability to make appointments on line is the BEST! No more worrying about getting a last minute appointment or forgetting to call. The highlighting process (Ombree/Balaya...ge) is awesome. No need to have it frequently redone, and it looks so natural. As I am on a limited income, I so appreciate that color retouches are $36! Color Luxe is fantastic! Appointments are available at nontraditional times on some days, which is great, and Laura and her team are some of the nicest people I have ever met.
