I have come here several times and each time has been a pleasant experience! Some technicians are more my pace then others, but that just means some are more chatty and some are more quiet lol. They’ve always been nice, friendly and did their best to accommodate what I wanted! I recently brought my mom and aunt with a friend and her mom for a belated mother’s day and they just loved it and had a great time; in addition it was the technicians, the time before, who suggested to come a week later because then things would be less busy and crowded, so I appreciated their advice a lot! Also, my nail got smudged and chipped (I have no idea when) that very day and I was able to call in and come back at my convenience a couple days later and have it touched up at no cost and without waiting for more then 10min even tho I randomly showed up! My husband got me a gift card for a massage and I was so excited! But the room is right next to where they do nails, so the entire time all I could hear was all the noise out there! It was really quite loud and not relaxing at all.... I was so disappointed. The massage itself was great, but I just couldn't get past all the CONSTANT talking and noise in the background. They really need white noise machines or something to help block out the noise. Then I assumed I could leave the tip with money on the gift card, and they said they only accept cash... I, like most people, didn't have any on me so I couldn't leave a tip which I felt terrible about. Venetian is good for nail services, but I find it a bit pricey. And for massage- I don't recommend. Oh how the mighty have fallen.  I remember when this place was new, they did such a great job and you really got to know the techs and they got to know you.  Now it's almost grown too big.  I was over at the outdoor Deerfield shopping center and wanted a shellac-type manicure so I decided to visit the Venetian.  I should have driven back towards home and gone to my usual place.They got me in fast enough, but I knew I should have just gotten up and left when I went through the process of removing my existing shellac.  The tech took my hand and started manually filing some of the polish off.  He was quite rough, dragging none too gently over my nail beds.  I was then told to shove all of the fingers of one hand into a small-ish metal dish of acetone...no cotton ball/foil wrap.  My fingers barely fit in the cup.  Then back and forth a bit...dip in cup, scrape with a scary looking metal tool...rinse and repeat.The nail filing and shaping was fine, but the cuticle removal was rough.  The pusher was shoved back against my nail bed and the cuticles were cut back quickly and roughly.  I wasn't surprised when he actually cut me.The painting of my nails was good on some, but sloppy on others.  Not all of the original shellac was removed so some of the color from the previous manicure showed through.  The application was a bit uneven, which you could see when my nails were held up to the light.  I ended up with polish on my skin in odd places and over the sides of my nails.  That is probably what led to the polish on one of my index fingers lifting up and chipping 4 days later.All-in-all, a disappointing experience.  Especially when I had to listen to the chaos surrounding missing tech tickets and how the drawer is always short when the desk employee that was on duty isn't there.  Uncomfortable to say the least.  It's like this place has turned into a bit of an assembly line than a spa-like experience.  I know that it's no Mitchell's or the like...but I left more tense than I arrived, which is never good.  I don't think I'll be back. I had a wonderful time getting my nails done. They did a fantastic job. I wished that I lived closer so that I could get them done all the time. So I'm new to the area and was in search of a new nail salon. This place was recommended to me by a coworker so I took her word for it and made an appointment. Not only was it packed which is supposed to be a good sign but the girls at the front were a mess. One was crying and tearful almost yelling at techs to hurry to get more people in. My tech was nice. He spent time doing my dip manicure but after it was all finished I looked and I had so much excess power and polish caked on my fingers and I still cannot get it off after scrubbing and even sanding my fingers. At the end of the manicure there was no massage. No lotion. He just got up and said that's it. I had powder on my hands still.  No hot towel no nothing. My cuticles are damaged as well bc he dig into my skin with the nail sander. Needless today I would not recommend this place at all and am still on my search for a new nail salon. See pics below. I had a manicure yesterday and it looks fine which is the only reason I'm giving any stars at all. What I have an issue with is the way my sisters and I were treated as customers. I try not to make assumptions however I was fairly convinced the technicians doing our nails were making fun of us, specifically our eyebrows (we are all Armenian and prefer natural brows). They were laughing and pointing at each others brows and then looking at us. I tried to brush it off but I believe my suspicions were confirmed when a man who worked there walked by and asked me "do you understand what they're saying?". I told him that I did not. He watched the woman do my nails for a minute, made a few comments to her which I didn't understand and walked away. We probably shouldn't have even left a tip but we did. I was so shocked at what was possibly happening that I didn't say anything when I was there. I really don't mind if the person doing my nails wants to have a conversation in a different language in front of me. What is wrong is that we were being made fun of and everyone who worked there knew...that is unacceptable and terrible customer service. We were nothing but polite to these women. I will not be returning. My hope in leaving this review is that the owners will see it and be able to have a talk with their employees. Took my girlfriend here for the first time after finding it online. It’s close by and has really great prices. She went there once and she was hooked and now we come just about every month. The staff is always nice and get us in and out pretty fast. Nails look great and service is just as awesome. Would definitely recommend Venetian to a friend! Read Less

I went in a few weeks ago to get ombré French acrylics. I knew this is a different technique and not every salon does it so I asked at first to make sure they could and they said they could! In the end, they couldn't do the ombré French and I went home with super thick SnS nails. They put 5 or 6 layers of SnS on my nails and they were terribly thick and looked like bubbles. I have never gotten SnS nails so I compared my nails to some of my coworkers the next day and the difference was mind blowing. Not returning here unfortunately. Read Less

Usually so happy with everything at the Venetian and when my mother and I came in today we were greeted with a whole shelf a new polish to choose from.  However the polish we chose (OPI infinite shine) cost an EXTRA $3! even though it was regular polish because our technician said that it would last longer, however my mother's polish began to not just chip, but completely PEEL OFF before she even went to bed!! Quality mani/pedis, and the place is always super clean. Even when they're busy, they do a great job of getting people in quickly. We've also made reservations for a larger group to be able to sit together for pedis. One complaint is that sometimes things feel rushed, rather than relaxing. There have been times that I've been and they've set a timer for the pedi - it bothered me that they were trying to get finished in a set amount of time. But, I haven't seen timers the last time or two that I've been. Hopefully they stopped doing that! Read Less

I walked in with another woman. They asked her could they help her but when I went to sign my name they said they were closed. I was there 45 mins before the posted closing time. I then enquired as to why wasn't I acknowledged but the the other woman was. He laughed and said "we're closed". Totally unprofessional and a bit racist. I will never come back here again. My biggest concern with any nail salon is the cleanliness, not only the appearance of the salon but that all of the instruments are properly cleaned. Venetian has exceeded my expectations. Had microblading and then ombré tattoo eyebrows done my Kimmy- I'm SO pleased would highly recommend- My eyebrows were so wonky before I came to Kimmy and she did an incredible job of matching them and advising me on what shape suits my face. Had an appointment booked for 10am. Sat in pedicure area for half an hour without anyone telling me anything. Eventually left at 10:45 after being told the lady doing my nails was stuck in traffic. Just a sorry about that for making me waste 45 minutes of my very precious time. No incentive to rebook for another time. Called before going in a panic needing a fix for a mess someone else left me with. Sam, the receptionist was patient, sweet, attentive and happy to help. She scheduled my appointment with Rinnie.Short wait upon arrival as to be expected- typical Saturday buzz. Rinnie promptly seated me and got into a full discussion as to what I needed and how I wanted it done. I came in with a plan and she politely made alternate suggestions. I gladly obliged. We had a very comfortably conversation (felt like I've known her for years). While this review may be a bit premature - I do need to see how this shellack holds up, but service and quality of products, timeliness and attentiveness was top notch. The salon is probably the largest Ive ever attended and the space is well appointed with a thoughtful layout - purse hooks, bottled water, wash cloths for hand drying and hot towel service at the end of a mani/pedi. Again hard to speak to the price since I need to wait a few days to see the end result, but the value (so far) feels well worth it.  check them out - recommend scheduling an appointment if visiting on the weekend. Absolutely the worst pedicure I have ever had. "Technician " didnot get the cuticle off, paint on my toes, didn't buff my toenails and the polish didn't go completely over my toenails. She turned a timer on so she would call it quits at a certain time...mentioned a callus on my toe and she said "0h well it will grow back and left it. Do not go to this place, they do a shoddy job. Had a HORRIBLE first-time experience at Venetian today. I accidentally bumped my hand on the table during the manicure and was accused of doing it on purpose to "cheat" and ruin my color! (Given that their drying fans are on the front face of the table instead of on top, it is very easy to hit your nails on the edge when you are taking your hands up, down, up, down, up, down, numerous times during the manicure.) The guy talked to me very rudely and tersely, told me he "wasn't kidding," and basically treated me like a suspected criminal the rest of my time there. Now why would I try to run my manicure on purpose, especially since I had already paid him and given him a tip before this whole incident?! Have never been so angry or humiliated in my life. If the place hadn't been packed, I would have let the guy have it. I'll be telling everyone I know to beware of this place, unless you enjoy paying good money for getting treated badly.
