I used to go to landen nails routinely! But the passed several times that I went back to them they did an awful job and treated me like dirt. They stopped talking to me and rushed me out the door. The gentleman that did my nails made sure to give me exactly the length and shape I wanted while educating me on why he did what he did for my repairs and because a few of my nails were lifting. Nails were spot on - they look amazing and the ladies doing them were brill! I will definitely come back for my nails her in future. I'm not too sure about the place to have a facial in - it's a bit cold & quiet as there's no music and I could hear a washing machine going in the background which wasn't that relaxing!! This salon is the best by far of all the ones I've been to, even the exclusive spa ones!  I teach swimming four days a week and am constantly getting positive compliments on my nails by kids and parents. I was even complimented yesterday while practicing IV starts in class.  My preferred manicure is shellac on acrylics, because it lasts for a month to 6 weeks. Just basic pedicures which, even in the water, last the longest. Tim, Jen, Kim and the newest male technician that started in October are my current favorites, but I have never had a bad experience here from any techician. All are professional and friendly. This is the third time over several months that I've tried to get a pedicure there. The first two times I waited over 30 minutes. I figure everyone has a bad day so I tried to give them chance after chance. This third time, I also waited 35 minutes before giving up. I told the tech the water was too hot for the pedicure tub. She turned on cold water for about 4 seconds and then left it hot. Maybe they figure the wait is so long that it will be the right temp by the time they get there an hour later. I'm your customer, however extremely disappointed on my last visit yesterday. Firstly, with the welcoming - had an appointment booked for 5pm, was told to sit down and not being told when approx. And who will be doing my nails. Then 15 mins later I was picked up by one of the girl, no acknowledgement of delay. Now, colours - picked first - not available, picked second - not available. What is going on? I decided to go for the removal only and still being charged £10. In my opinion I should not since I initially came for the gel. I love long, pretty nails and as mine never grow without breaking I had the pleasure of having my first ever gel nail extensions with the very skilled and lovely Soraia ( I also had a luxury pedicure). She took the time to explain the process and didn't rush. She as well as the other staff were very pleasant and friendly. It was a very relaxed atmosphere in the shop. Soraia was very knowledgeable with regard to what colour would suit my skin tone and what shape would suit my hands best. She checked with me every step of the way as to if it was as I wanted it. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my nails and she really outdid my expectation. The end result is truly stunning and I can't stop looking at my gorgeous nails. Daisy's is a fabulous place to go to get your nails done. I've been biting my nails for years and have started getting gel manicures each month. The women who work here are all lovely, skilled and very careful with your nails and take the time to make sure that everything is as you want it. Unlike a lot of other nail shops, there's no horrible smell or overcrowding, and it really is a treat to go to Daisy's. It's never too loud or hectic and is a really relaxing environment overall. They also have so many colours to choose from and the manicure lasts a hell of a lot longer than other places I have been to, so you don't have to get them done so often. I went on a Sunday morning hoping to get a relaxing pedicure. The water was cold in the pedicure bowl and after several times of telling the tech to warm it up I told her not to worry about it because she didn't want to fix it. The whole time in the chair receiving my service an employee was face timing her boyfriend while at her nail station. You could hear the whole conversation. I would not recommend this place to anyone that wants to relax in a professional environment. Read Less

Then they left the soak to take off the shellac on me for so long that it burned my skin, and then started other people's nails that came in after me. I've been going to Landen nails for over a year now. They by far have the best customer service and they always do an incredible job! Jen, the owner is always so incredibly sweet and welcoming and always makes sure I am happy before I leave. Everyone in the salon is friendly and welcoming! I have visited many nail salons and this is by far my favorite and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. It is a bit of a drive from my home, but for the great experience and product I am willing to make the drive. I would highly recommend Landen Nails to anyone! Very unhappy.   This is the first time I have ever been to this salon.  I went in Mother's Day weekend to treat myself (which I rarely do.).  My pedicure was rushed and not at all relaxing.  My nails (full set) were honestly the worst quality I have ever seen and the gentleman who did them didn't pay one spec of attention to what I asked for.  He did what ever he wanted to get me out the door as fast as possible.    A week and a half later I was so embarrassed by my nails that I went elsewhere to have them removed and was told that my nails are so damaged from the heavy drilling he did that I should t get them redone right now.  Please,  just save yourself and go somewhere else.  I also plan to file a state board complaint in regards to this visit for cleanliness concerns. I came here because of the reviews on Yelp and because I have been searching for a permanent nail salon to go to. When calling to ask about pricing, it was a few dollars more than normal but I asked about having a student discount. The girl I spoke with said if I brought my ID card they would honor the discount. Upon arriving I was immediately sat down but when the nail technician, Tim, sat down he asked what I wanted. He then took out his phone and had an entire conversation right in front of me with a friend before even touching my nails. When he did touch my nails he assured me that he had a special method to make them really good. I didn't know the method was to thin them down so much the nails were broken and misshaped. Strike 2. I had told him I wanted my nails to be about the same length and knew that meant a little shorter than before because you have to file them down to shape. I told him I liked them narrow and square shaped. I was getting a pink and white fill in but I wanted a decent amount of white left the same amount as was there before he filed my nails down. When doing the pink and white process they looked fine and I was happy with pink:white ratio and overall length. After filing, he turned a great manicure into a horrible one. Over and over he filed my nails so they were short, stubby and small white even when I told him I did not like that. It got to the point where I had to order him to please STOP filing them down after the 4th round to which he ignored me and said "Don't worry it's fine". NO it's NOT fine; I am the customer. When it was my turn to pay I reminded him about the student discount he had told me in the beginning but he said he would not give me a student discount but they did have a prom discount which I was never told about. He had asked me before in conversation if I was going to prom this year and I had said probably not and now I know why. I told him I was never told about that discount on the phone when asking, I was only told of a student discount and the lady told me to just come in to the store and she would honor it so I was confused. Tim really did not want to give me a discount and openly argued with the lady to not do it right in front of me. I will not be going back and I urge you not to either for your own sake. Read Less

I used to come to Landen Nails frequently and was very pleased but they have become too busy and the results arent satisfactory.  They tell you it will be 5 minutes and it's 35.   Then they rush through it.  The whole point of a pedicure is to relax.   The technician actually washed the tools she used in the water while my feet were still in it.   The drying area is way too small and precarious with wet nails.  I won't go back even though it is convenient.    I would rather pay more for a good experience. Love landen nails. I always come here when I need mine done. Very friendly and remember their customers. I hadn't gone in in almost 4 months and left my daughter at home with my bf to get my nails done they immediately asked where she was and how big she is now. Not to mention if you want glitter they can actually dip your nail in a jar of glitter. Read Less

I stopped getting shellac manicures often because they ALWAYS peel. I came here to kill time one day and splurged one one anyway and it was by far the best one I've ever had. It lasted well into the third week and didn't peel one bit! Read Less

If I've had a bad day I know that all I have to do is walk into Landen Nails for a smile to return to my face. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean and competitively priced for the area. They have every color under the sun to choose from and I always walk out of the shop with nails that I'm proud to show off. I usually make an appointment because sometimes the wait gets pretty long for walk-ins and there isn't much space for comfortable waiting, but it's easy to get in within 1 hour of calling - even on the weekend. All the nail technicians do excellent work, they pay attention to detail. The atmosphere is friendly and cheerful, almost like a Cheer's bar where ""everybody knows your name""! They do know their customers and take good care of them. The prices are reasonable and they do very good work, the gel nails are thin and look almost natural. I would highly recommend this shop. I just moved to a neighborhood right around the corner from Landen Nails and was looking for a new nail place to fill the shoes of my old salon from where I used to live (we know how hard that can be). I went in for a pedicure and was very impressed. The employees were extremely friendly, and they did a great job. I changed my mind twice during the pedicure on what polish color I wanted (I have a hard time making decisions) and they very patiently waited letting me get up and look again, making sure I was completely satisfied in the end and offered to change it if I wasn't. They knew my name by the second time I came in and always remember exactly what I want. I have never had to wait or come back to get anything done. Love them! Read Less
