I am not usually one to complain but I have been to Purelux Nail Spa 3 times now and left completely dissatisfied every time. Today, after making an appointment, I went in and waited almost an hour to get a fill in. Once someone finally got around to helping me, I asked her if she could do a square shape for my nails. I showed her a picture of what I had in mind and she proceeded to tell me the picture was coffin shaped. I have been getting acrylic nails for many years now, both coffin and square. I know the difference and the picture I showed her was most definitely square. I told her I did not want the coffin shape and I just wanted them to be square, forget the picture. She shaped my nails somewhere between coffin and square and still charged me for the coffin shape. While filing my nails, the woman filed the skin of my fingers as well. I kept pulling away telling her it hurt and she proceeded to ignore me and shape them the way I didn't even want her to shape them. This place is careless and absolutely overpriced. I can go down the street to another nail salon in Loveland and get the same thing for nearly half the price, nicer staff, and leave far more satisfied. Read Less

I really want to like this place, but they've been more disappointment than satisfaction.  Twice they've told me they 'have time' for a pedi and I've waited over an hour.  Last time, my daughter who came in with me waited an additional 1/2 hour for a nail tech after being told they could do her mani.  Viktoria did my pedi last time and it was terrible (painfully rough - and I'm tough, cut my toenails unevenly with fingernail clippers that were not in a sanitized pouch..yikes).  They're wonderfully kind and seem very accommodating when you arrive, and we go often for eyebrow waxing (which is generally great!).  But I'd go elsewhere for nails. Again, I want to like this place, it's close to my house and their hours are convenient. Read Less

The nail service is ok... but beware the wait. They put you in pedicure chairs while you wait- which sort of "traps" you to stay well beyond quoted time...they seem understaffed given their growing client base as they are conveniently located to many neighborhoods. I've now had three experiences (twice as a walk-in) where the wait is misquoted and I'm there for in excess of two hours.  Most recently, I made an appointment and was told the wait would be 30-45 minutes when I arrived.  If there is no wait- it's an ok place...they do a decent job... I hope they hire more technicians to avoid losing clients due to reliability-especially in honoring appointments. Read Less

The lady that did my nails was very opinionated. They kept trying to up sell the shellac for my toes but I just wanted a regular nail polish. They were very pricey. I got a shellac or no chip polish on my hands and they started peeling within 4 days of getting my nails done. I have never had any issues with no chip polish. They also didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for no chip polish. I was very unpleased with my experience and won't be going back there. Read Less

I went in for manicure & left with owner & wife yelling at me! Where to start... the name is deceptive...there is nothing luxurious about this place. It's dirty (dead bugs on window ledges, floors & shelves need cleaning, instruments not in sterile packaging. Then the nail tech scrapes off the shellac directly onto the station, dips the cotton ball into the cold water my hand is soaking in & squeezes it back out - back into the same bowl my hands are in. I decided not to get the shellac but just a regular manicure & it's awful! Lumpy & uneven - I told her there was still shellac on the nails & she told me it was my own nail that they are wavy. Huh? All of them? I asked for the manager & told her my dissatisfaction - NO Refunds! After being there over an hour, seriously? They can do them again...NO, who has that kinda time!As a business owner, I told them I get it, but I'm not a satisfied customer! No Refund; not our fault, they said. She & her husband said they will come to my business to find things wrong there; I welcome them as we're not perfect either; however customer service is utmost! Whatever the customer needs.
