Always great service- I hadn’t been in for literally a year and a half and as soon as I walked in I was addressed by name and they always make sure you feel like you’re important. The staff is always willing to try any kind of nail design I’ve asked for and I’m always the one who needs them super short and nobody ever has an issue with that or tries to talk me out of it like other places have. Just tried the dipped nails for the first time and I’ll definitely be back for that again! Pedicures are great, they aren’t rushed through and typically everyone makes small talk so there’s not awkward silence which I appreciate. Always leave A Nail Spa feeing like I got my money’s worth. They were very nice. but this is the 3rd time my nails have chipped or cracked wearing there Gel first was there Yellow and it peeled right off and then i got there mold changing pink and purple and it cracked the next day. and i went back and they fixed it and then 2 days later the same finger nails crack and my pinky cracks. Like ALL nail salons in Lima.....TERRIBLE service! I drive an hour and 15 minutes every 2 weeks just to get my nails & feet done because of the service here in Lima. At this particular salon, I was treated badly the instant I walked in. Nobody wanted to help me because I just needed a repair and then when I got put with the girl, she complained immediately. I knew I was going to have to pay for my repair and I always tip well. I do not recommend this salon to ANYONE. I will never go back. Warning.....Go at your own risk! My sister and I went to this salon for the first and only time today. We are from out of town and figured we would try it out as we both needed fill ins. When we walked in we were told to sign in and that it would be a twenty minute wait which is totally understandable. Roughly 15 minutes later we were told to sit at seats 7 and 8. This is where it all went downhill. After an additional 20 minutes of waiting we were told "Someone will take care of you guys next. They skipped... over your names to complete $60 pedicures instead." Not great, but okay. Another 25-30 minutes later our fill ins were started. Come to find out we were skipped over not once but TWICE. My sister had to get up and move to seat 2 on her own otherwise she would have been skipped for a THIRD time. When we signed in there were zero names above ours. When people came in and were serviced before us I assumed that they made appointments (again fully understandable), but a nail technician told me flat out that there were not any appointments and that they were just trying to get to the expensive pedicures first, not fill ins. I've gone here every 2-3 wks since they opened. Never again ! Every single time I go here, I wait as they take several others ahead of Me ! Well My time is just as important as others. They say those people were in before and they came back so they have to take them first. Well I didn't see that many names ahead of mine that they took ajead of Me and they greet them as though it's their firsy time in there today. Hmmmm.....and then they don't even know what they needed done.... It's becuz they were never in there today. Besides, if they come back almost an hr after I'm waiting, I think they should have to wait. In the meantime My hands are soaking in acetone thats been used over and over by multiple people. I went to get my nails done today because my regular guy I go to has been out of town and I got tired of not having my acrylics. The lady was very nice but did not do my nails good at all. I asked for my money back and for them to take them off and a different lady "fixed" them. then proceeded to tell me my color looked bad so she charged me an extra $6 for gel. I hated them completely and went to turn back around to just say no take them off and give me my money back but the doors were locked. I'm leaving town tomorrow so can't go back when they open!! Tried to get my nails done here. Their open and close times are incorrect on here and their website. They have a hand written "winter" schedule taped to the door even though it's June. Outside had a bunch of trash and its next to a bar with patrons outside smoking. No thanks. Read Less

I had a very nice experience at A Nail Spa today. The mani-pedi was done well. They were very friendly and helpful. I felt no pressure to have anything more than a regular mani-pedi. i came here for the first time this week. I like how they did my nails, but it wasn't what I really had asked for. I think they are too pushy and want you to spend more money. I wanted only one nail with a design and they told me it wouldn't look good on my nails. this is how I got it done at the other place I went to. no problem there. I have been a regular client at Generations Salon for years and love my visits there. They provide warm Tea Tree towels which are relaxing and very lovely while getting pampered. All of the employees are very friendly and accommodating. I have not had a single unpleasant experience! Read Less

I had a wonderful experience at Generations Salon. I felt relaxed and very at home during my time there. I enjoyed the hot towel while I was getting my hair shampooed. Where do I begin? They put hot, stinky, mildewed towels on your shampooed hair, the owner ragged on her stepchildren most the time I was there and was super annoying. I've always had great service here, hardly ever a wait! Tony and Nina are super nice and always remember me and what I've asked for in the past. Pedis are great- best around town. You could go somewhere for a little cheaper but you get what you pay for. They also sell the exfoliating scrub and I highly recommend trying some! Read Less
