I've had my hair cut here for the past 12 years or so. Carly has always been consistent and able to adapt to the style I want. The massages have been average, but the facials are fantastic. I spent the day today at the Gahanna/New Albany location...and it was wonderful. I treated myself to a whole day of just me time! First the massage from April was simply amazing!! I was so relaxed I melted when I got off the table. Next was my facial and eyebrow wax with Paisley. It was perfect! She was gentle with everything and my brows look great. Lunch was fantastic!! I didn't know how hungry I was. Then off to have my mani/pedi with Nancy! She was fantastic! M...y nails look amazing and hands and feet are soft as butter! Lastly, Sarah got my head right and gave me an amazing cut and style that I'm super happy with! Wendi...I can't forget her! For a “Grand Salon” I was not impressed with the service I received. I booked online to change my hair color to a lighter blonde and the one option I saw was “ all over color” which makes sense to me to be color put all over your hair. I was told after driving an hour to my appointment that I scheduled for a root touch up and that she didn’t have time because that was a 30 minute appointment. I would give my nail technician 5 stars all the way.  Debbrynne did an excellent job.  She created a very relaxing environment and made the experience very comfortable.  She is knowledgeable about her profession and was very helpful in navigating gel options.  I was getting a manicure because I am in a wedding and wanted something elegant and light.  Debbrynne picked the perfect shade!  I would 100% schedule Debbrynne for a manicure again.   I chose to get a get manicure at Penzone's because I received a gift card for Christmas. I had a Columbus sweet experience today, for 6 hours at Polaris. Natasha gave me a hot stone and deep tissue massage for 2.5 hours. I am a stay at home mom to almost 4 year old twins and I have really neglected myself since their birth. Not exercising or eating right, basically focused on their thriving not mine. So upset and extremely disappointed. I got my nails done at the Polaris location on Thursday December 25th for my Cancun vacation. Turns out my boyfriend proposed to me on New Year's Eve! We are having our engagement photos taken this Friday at the resort. Today only 5 days after getting my nails done (paying 100$ after tip) one of my acrylic nails simply falls off. I am extremely disappointed especially because of the special occasion photos I will be having taken. Because I paid so much for the experience and the nails I expected them to last for my entire vacation. I would not recommend this salon. Read Less

I had to ask the makeup artist to use both a primer and a finishing spray. She also admitted to their products being "OK but not great". The hair stylist used a wide barrel on both long and medium hair which caused all our curls to fall within 30 minutes. I asked her to do a fishtail braid and she did just a regular. She then charged me for an up-do (when it was mostly down with exception of the braid) and they would not change the pricing because of the simple braid. I absolutely love going to Charles Penzone grand salon. It's a treat and a great experience always. I drive 45 minutes to go to the specific salon because it's my absolute favorite. Sawyer is my go-to artist for my haircuts. She always does a great job and understands the evolution of my hair.Charles Penzone not only has an amazing hair salon, but other services include; massage, nails, facials, and others. You can also buy packages through their website that offer limo rides and brunch. It's so fancy!The lobby is relaxing with several comfy chairs and they always offer refreshments while you wait. The salon is located on Polaris Parkway, just a couple blocks past the mall. Ample parking is always available and free. Read Less

My two daughters and I had appointments at the Dublin salon today at 3:15 and 3:30. My one daughter whose appointment was at 3:30 is done. My other daughter whose appointment was at 3:15 has not been started. When I asked about what was going on for her appointment and mine I was told her person, Hanan, was running 30 mins behind (it's now been 45). They had not checked on mine and Michelle was supposed to check and come back- she never came back.... I have been going here fairly regularly for about a year. The team who answers phone calls is extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. My appointments lately have been cancelled with far less than 24-hours notice (via email that goes to spam, not the phone), yet 24-hours notice is required for clients to cancel. Booking is extremely inflexible. Yesterday, Erica was supposed to make an appointment for me for 5:45 this evening, and to call me back with verification it was made. I received no phone call. This is the third time cancellation issues have happened, and is unacceptable. Having a weak system in place to handle client's phone calls as well as their issues has lead me to go elsewhere. I hadn't had my hair cut in almost 3 years (other than a random trim once). I *thought* I wanted to grow it out. I was wrong. I had some good length on it. I realized that the only thing I liked to do with longer hair was pull it back into a ponytail. I needed a cut and I needed a good one.I booked online (as I'm a return customer - mostly to the spa which is amazing, BTW). I looked for a senior director at the Polaris Grand Salon location that had an open time and found Liv. When I came in the door, I was greeted warmly right away. After being offered a drink (very good coffee) I was greeted by Debra Penzone. She asked what I was having done and about my hair. I thought that was a nice touch. I showed her the picture I had brought and she agreed that cut suits my face shape very well. She went over and asked her husband, Charles Penzone, what he thought and he agreed as well. It was a very nice, personal touch to have so much attention from the owners.Liv not only gave me the exact cut I wanted but also helped me learn how to style and care for it. She gave me excellent tips on keeping my new look updated. Charles and Debra checked back in with me before I left.Before my haircut I had a eyebrow arch with Anya. I normally schedule with Emily, who wasn't available at that time. Both are professional and excellent. I'm never red when I walk out.I would recommend Liv for a new style. This was my first time at the salon.  I felt very welcomed and comfortable.  Elle did my manicure and was very thorough but speedy. Super-friendly and down-to-earth. Aileen was my hair stylist and did a fantastic job!  She was very easy to talk to and  super sweet. My hair is just what I had asked for. She even showed me a few different ways to style it. Finally decided to give this place a go because every time I drive past the lot is filled with cars.  Can't say I'm terribly fond of their booking system online (I prefer to call and let them hunt through for times) but I can see the convenience of it.  Booked a pedicure (they have a slew of types)  for 3:30, checked in, got a cup of coffee and then waited for 20mins to be seen.  Not a good first impression.The guy working at the desk saw the look on my face asked me what time was my appointment and went back to check.  I was told the girl I booked with was running behind.  Ok.  Eventually got in, had the pedicure and apologies for being late.  While it was a good pedicure (not great, good) I can only give it 3 stars.Want to book a massage next to see how that goes and perhaps another pedicure with another tech.  I'm willing to give them another try.
