Wanted to get a full set. Told me it was $35, no big deal. Then was told to get gel polish was $20 extra. I could buy the whole bottle of polish for that. Then was told it was an additional $7 to have the nails shaped the way I liked. Just kept adding on prices. Which I understand to a degree , but $27 in extras ?? I was a semi regular client to get pedicures here with a girlfriend of mine and they were always good. Because of this, I decided to get a balance on my nails in addition to the pedicure this past Sunday, 7/23. The salon opens at 11 and I arrived at 10:55 with 7 people on the list ahead of me. I waited 90 minutes to get an available technician. She gave me a good pedicure and was mostly quiet (this is typical) but friendly enough. After the pedicure was over, she directed me to her spot to do my nails. To be fair, they weren't in the best shape:  two had completely fallen off and a couple were moderately lifted somewhat, but still definitely attached to my natural nails. This technician wanted to take the easy, quick way of removing these nails by jamming another artificial tip between the acrylic and natural nails to remove them, which is extremely painful. I mentioned several times how much she was hurting me and she was extremely rude and told me, 'it not hurt so bad. You need let me get these off and if not, you can wait 30m to let them soak off for extra money.' I'm not sure if any of you have had nails removed this way, but I can't for the life of me understand why she'd continue to rip them off, taking layers of my (already thin) natural nails off in this way. It was all I could do not to cry out in pain. My whole body was shaking and I kept telling her how bad it hurt. Each time I told her, she got even more snippy with me and kept going. Once she got them all off, my natural nails looked just awful, were throbbing in pain and I questioned whether it was safe to even put another set on with my natural nails in such bad shape. She gave me a nasty look and said, 'I no know what you mean by safe. It's ok, we put more on.' And kept going. The new set she applied in a crappy, quick way and gave me uneven, misshaped nails that I'm completely disappointed with. When I told her they were too long, she gave me attitude. When I told her the shape was off, she told me,'they good' even though they're not and I'm unhappy. I paid the $98 she charged me, tipped her $20 and left. I will NEVER return and wouldn't recommend that anyone ever go to this shop. They make you feel like you're bothering them and are a nuisance if you want the services you're paying for done well. I'm just sick about this and wanted to write this review in hopes that no one else ever goes through such a nightmare. Read Less

After waiting 55 minutes, I was told that they could not do what I asked for. So I went with an color that I like. Once the woman was done with my nails I asked who would be doing my eye brows? She went to the owner of the shop and the owner said "Oh I'll do them next time, I'm too busy" when I wrote my name down I asked for a balance and to have my eye brows done..... please don't Wast your money and time here. Walk-ins only on Saturday at 10:00 am. They specifically said 10. Got to salon at 9:50... 10 people already on list. I understand the concept, however, if 10 is the time, 10 should be the time. Slow. I typically have to get me nails republished after 1 week. I don't believe their OPI is actually OPI. Faculty is clean. I had an appointment, and they did not write it down. Then poor customer service after that error. They imply customer lies. They don't accept responsibility. Read Less

Those 1* rating are so wrong! This place is amazing. No matter how busy they are, they still give you the BEST Pedi or Mani ever. Ladies are willing to wait 2hrs (walk-ins) for services because the employees are dedicated to great service. Clean atmosphere, beverages available, and attentiveness employees. A+++ Read Less

I had the absolute best experience at this salon! The technician was very friendly and VERY talented. She did an absolute FABULOUS job on my new full set of pink and whites. I have been to many salons and have never had them look this good! I originally chose this salon because of it's excellent reviews and I was not disappointed. Worst pedi ever. Look from far away only. Bad paint job and my feet look worse coming out the going in. They don't know new nail techniques. My shellac was 55 dollars what a rip off. Not smooth nor even at all. Will never go back spent almost 100 dollars to walk out think I could have done a better job. Read Less

My favorite nail salon!  I have only ever gotten pedicures, they are a great price at $28.  The staff is friendly and the service is great.  The massage chairs are fabulous and much more comfortable than other area salons.  I have never had an appointment and they have always been able to take me right away. I have been to several salons but what salon works out of a metal tray? Seems fishy. And my nails are horrible! They are okay people though but if I am paying for my nails, I expect good work. Keep your conversation! Read Less

Coming from Chicago, nail prices seem high everywhere else!  I needed a quick pedicure and this place was convenient, so I gave it a shot. I got right in and the service was good, they were not rough and fairly thorough which is always good. They had several nail color selections and they do a nice foot/leg rub. For $28 it was worth it, but you won't catch me paying thy much in Chicago!! Read Less
