I went to get a pedicure and they rushed the service I paid for the smart pedicure and I really don’t know why I did. It’s the same service as the other nail shops except she barely scrubbed my feet and no massage. She also painted my nails like I did it at home so what’s the point I paid for nothing. They rushed everything to get more money . I will never go back there and if your new pick CT Nails or Finger Nails they do a way better job! Highly disappointed with my visit here. There were three of us, so we called days in advance to make an appointment for Sunday the 18th at noon. We knew we were on a tight schedule and we didn’t want to risk having a long wait. When we arrived (on time) and informed multiple technicians we were here for an appointment they told us to sign in and they would be right with us. About ten minutes later after asking multiple times if they were able to accommodate our appointment, t...hey said yes and sat us in chairs with water running. One pedicure was started about 10 minutes later and 30 minutes later two of us were still sitting in the chair waiting for the pedicure to start. Why accept appointments if you are going to keep us sitting there waiting? Every time we asked they kept implying they were about to get us started. Five people who walked in were called and started for pedicures immediately before us (and after we stated we made an appointment), so it is not like they didn’t have enough nail techs. In the end only two of us were able to get a pedicure because we didn’t have enough time. And to make it even worse my pedicure is awful. We were rushing out the door (since they started so late) and I didn’t have time to closely examine it before leaving. There is polish on my cuticles, with the polish on the actual nails being completely uneven; parts are thick in color and other areas appear to barely have any polish. Pros: quick, clean, and they do great work.Cons: slightly pricey for the rush The only reason this is not a five star review is that for the area and how rushed my appointment was, it was slightly steep in price. They did do a really good job however!! I'm VERY pleased with the results. I went here on a recommendation from a friend who's nails are always on fleek and I'm glad I did! They're very able to do the trendy nails here which is always a good sign to me that the technicians are keeping up with the latest techniques. As I mentioned in the pros the area was surprisingly clean considering how many people were in there & the size of the salon. Keep in mind that I got acrylics so them rushing wasn't the end of the world, it would have been more of an issue if they rushed a manicure/ pedicure & skimped on the massage portions. I know there are some reviews in which people had horrible experiances. And yes not everyone does it right. Having gone to school for nail I can spot people who short cut or just don't care. and since they moved the new people there I stay away from and had my own struggles dealing with them. But I will say this I have found such a great guy there I instantly switch from my past regular girl! Lee is so good with customer interaction and trying to accommodate you needs! The lady that does the eyebrows is really rude. She rushed thru it and I wasn't happy. Seemed not to care at all. Went to pay and she told the guy upfront to make sure I tipped. I had a 5$ Bill in my hand to give her as a too and to charge my debit card for the service. Maybe she doesn't understand what a tip is. Its not mandatory sweetie. But because I'm not a complete ass hole I did tip her. However you did lose future business and I will let everyone I know not to go there. You pay a lot of money for a very shitty product. Customer service is non-existent. Super rude treatment and hideous nails. I went in and asked for acrylic nails with polish. The girl refused to do it. She said gel looked better (also more expensive) I agreed. She messed up my nails. They were supposed to be matte black. Well I'm the sun they were blue. If I could review 0 stars I would. I came here in November and got my eyelashes done. I came here only because my wonderful normal lash lady was booked and I needed my lashes done before thanksgiving. I got my lashes done and she didn’t tape down my bottom lashes and had me keep my eyes opened, it seemed odd but I had only gone to one other person so unfortunately I was ignore them in knowing that should have been my first two flags to get the heck out of there. I came back 3... days later because my lashes had fallen off rather fast (but i still had enough left to where I couldn’t tell what was happening) the lady (ivy) agreed to do a fill for half the price since they fell off so quickly. The store claims they last for two weeks so I was happy how they treated the situation and got them fixed. 2 days later all the lashes were completely gone and I had realized my natural eye lashes had chunks missing and are now extremely thin. I was devastated, i had been working with Jill ( my amazing lash lady) for a few months now trying to get my lashes to grow in the mean time she was using a lash friendly “made for eyelashes” glue which I had no problems with. I went in to the shop to show them and asked simply for a refund and let them know that they should look into the glue their using because something is not right. Ivy told me she would not give me a refund and it was my own fault. I politely asked to speak with the owner or higher management which she politely replied there was not someone available, I said okay and asked for her esthetician license which she declined and said she would only give me the number if I signed something stating the salon was at no fault. I then called the Ohio state cos board to leave a message, as I was on the phone i walked over to the wall where the salon had their license framed. The license was in a public area, not behind a desk not in the back it was on the wall where people go to dry their nails. A larger man walked over to me and started to get my attention, I was still on the phone so I politely turned around and said excuse me I am on the phone but I will be able to speak to you shortly when I am off. He then became Irate and was screaming in my ear to get m attention I turned around again and said I am on the phone I will speak to you when I am done. The man then grabbed my arm to further get my attention and said I’m not allowed to know the information on the wall and I was not allowed to stand there. Pros: close to my home. Moderately priced. Almost always can immediately accommodate walk-ins. Lots of options. Tons of polish colors. Offers more than just nail services.Cons: I've noticed they sneak in upcharges or opt to do the more expensive option of two without asking. This is a big moral problem for me. Review: I've been going to this place for years--before they were in this big new location. The reason I keep coming back is because I have a really crazy schedule and I can't rely on appointment times often, so when I can fit in a quick pedi, I go here. They can almost always get me in right away with little to no wait.But be careful. I had a full set of acrylic nails out on here several weeks ago and rather than going with the regular set, they opted for the solar set without asking me. Mind you it has been over 10 years since I've had acrylics, so I expected the application process to change a bit. But when I asked, they said they were doing solar nails and it was quite a bit more expensive than the standard kind. Then the "fills" are a lot more in depth too and cost over $40 each time just to fill them. I was disappointed, and the guy called it a miscommunication. They weren't done well the first time and a lady had to redo them better the second time. They also do stuff like hombre nails, eyebrow tattoo, lip liner tattoo, brow wax, and more. The place can become busy as it has become very popular --be patient they will take good care of you. Its beautiful, clean and runs smoothly. Went here August 26th with my friend that was visiting me from out of town. She bought me gel pedi and mani as my graduation gift from nursing school. The lady who did my pedi did a great job but the guy who did my mani was awful. He made all my nails bleed on my left hand and three of my nails on my right hand bleed from sanding down my CUTICLE! My nail beds were bleeding and swollen by the time I left and the lady at the front desk was too busy texting on her phone to reall...y care about my option when she asked about our experience here and if we were happy. I told her no and was trying to show her my hands but the glowing device in her face was more important I guess? Next time you ask a customer when putting that liquid stuff on their nails when they bleed. I should report you to the health department applying that to my bleeding nail beds and you dab it back in the container and take it back out. Do you know how many blood-bourne pathogens you are exposing your costumers to? Disgusting! I will never be coming back. I had to deal with my crusty fingernails for a whole week. For the last couple of years I have gotten horrible ingrown toenails - since a horrible experience in Nashville, TN. Was so bad I had to have one of my toenails professionally done from a doctor. Well, my other big toe has been getting bad too - so I usually will try and take care of it myself until I have to go back to the doc. Took a chance on an unknown salon based on referrals from a friend and my cousin - they did not steer me in the wrong direction!! My pedi tech did AMAZING! But overall I've never been turned away I've never been told they can't do a service and the girls are always always nice to me. And I really want them to know that I appreciate what they do for me cuz more than most of the time I walk in in the last minute and they have still never turned me away. Decided to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure while visiting family. Worst gel manicure I've ever received. I get my nails done every two weeks. The technician was so lazy he used the electric buffer/ sander to take off my old gel, and continued to use it to buff my nails and used it on my feet too!! I should have walked out. Mistake on my part. My nails are now so fragile I've had two of them break down to the quick in a matter of 4 days since receiving the service. This is especially criminal for the price I paid - $70. I've given this place a few tries because they're super close to where I live. So disappointing. When removing my gels, I've had techs just file the gel off, thus removing layers of my real nails. I've even asked to have my gels soaked off (which is normal!) and they said it was fine and kept on filing away just to make the process faster for them. They can't handle basic nail art requests. And, finally, the worst part. I got a horrible nail fungus on my big toe after a pedicure here. I shouldn't be surprised with how many times my skin was cut by the tech. Read Less

I'm sitting here writing a review while my toes dry because I am that displeased with the service.The actual pedicure is fine and is not the problem with this establishment. I knew coming here was a risk- I've had good and mediocre experiences here. I chose to come here because it's close to home and this is one of the only places around that actually opens new tools in front of you. Today put me over the edge. I have callused feet and ingrown toe nails. So do many others who get pedicures. Today I was laughed at and mocked for these problems BY EMPLOYEES. When nail techs say things to each other under their breath I usually think nothing of it. When they are laughing and pointing at the problem areas on a customers feet, there is a problem in the general professionalism of the employees. This is a business first and foremost. I have given this place several opportunities. I have been here several times without any satisfaction with my service. I am always stuck waiting at least 20 minutes prior to being waited on even if I have  an appointment. At my most recent visit here I brought one of my best friends the day before her wedding day upon her request - she wanted to come here. She made an appointment for three of us for 11 AM. Upon asking the young lady at the service desk she said that there was no appointments whatsoever. There was at least 20 people waiting in the chairs already. My best friend ended up taking over two hours to get a manicure and a pedicure ... That was after we waited... They butchered her ring finger nail THE DAY BEFORE HER WEDDING. Made it bleed. Did not  do her nails to her liking. My nails are also butchered. I requested to have almond shape; And was given Square after several request. Then when I went to check out I realize that they charge $20 more than the other place that I go to. I will never come here ever again. My business will forever be at Classy Nails near Tuttle Mall. I give fair warning that apparently this may not be the place for false nails, but if you're looking for just a quick mani/pedi with no hassle, and basically a polish change, then this place will probably do the trick. I came to this place on an absolute whim after lunch a couple doors down. They got me in within 10 minutes, and in a chair. They have different price ranges here for what you're getting, so check the price cards they have around. Their basic pedi starts at $30 and goes upward depending if you want scrubs, or oil/hot towel treatments on your legs. (Although I suppose I could recommend. It did feel pretty nice.)So the good things:*Quick*Efficient*Nice massage chairs*Decent add on treatments*Average prices*One stop shop--They offer a lot of other beauty related services here. The not so good things:*My nail technician was EXTREMELY light on English compared to the others, which meant no conversation at all. *Technician was rough on cuticles. Like I had some serious soreness going on after I left. Granted, I will disclose that I had not had a Pedi done in over a year, so there was some serious work to be done. *Weird mysterious ATM I was forced to get cash out of by my technician instead of the place just having their own credit processing systems. Like, this is not the 1990's. Please get with the times. ATMs are shady AF. *Girl at front desk who would much rather be anywhere else, as I had to repeat myself 3 times in order to grab her attention from the most interesting text message in the world that she was having. *Technician just disappeared. My sister-in-laws and I went here today and to start off, I actually had a pretty good experience. I love my nails, my nail tech(not sure of her name but she sat at table 2) was awesome and did an awesome job. With that being said, they were not so pleasant to another person in my group. 2 of us received gel manicures and were served immediately while the other had to wait 15 minutes, had another person taken ahead of her and then did not receive what she hoped for. Her nails were not dry by the time we left the salon(even though they were gel/acrylic and she was not told to sit under a nail dryer), one acrylic nail was already lifting by the time we left and the others had nail art that left some of the acrylic nail exposed, and she had to change nail techs because the one she was working with originally could not do her nail art and she therefore had to wait again for another. My other sister-in-law was even asked by the tech to go get the other girl's polish! Weird! I might be back in the future, but I doubt she will! Also, other customers were being complainy and left because they also had reservations 15 minutes ahead of me and were still waiting even after my manicure had began. Not good! Read Less

The salon looks nice but even though I had an appointment & cash in hand, I left before getting the mani-pedi I had scheduled. Knowing they would likely be busy on a Saturday, I made an appointment for the early afternoon. I arrived about 10 minutes prior to my appointment and 40 minutes later I left because I was simply tired of waiting. I literally just left. My first time ever coming here. I got a solar nails pink and white balance which was only 38. Other places it's 45-50. So that's a plus.The lady who did my nails was very nice and she liked to talk. Which is a good thing for me. As I walked out I requested a take-out list of their services, which they provided me. I have been going there for a few years and the services have gone downhill every time I am there. They recently moved to a bigger place and the 3 times I've been there since have been disasters!  The last 2 gel pedicures have taken almost 2 hours and one of them I didn't even get my toes polished for one of them. I was so irritated when I left. Pedicures are supposed to be relaxing, these were very stressful. Every time I get my nails balanced and polished with gel it takes a long time because the girls are constantly on their cell phones talking or texting. They will stop working on you to answer personal calls or texts. I know way too much about the personal lives of the girls that work there!!  I was so disgusted with the service there that I will never return there. No one really told us where to go or what to do here.  They just pointed.  Also, I got into my car after getting acrylics, and two of my nails had already chipped and I noticed a cut on my pinky from the buffing tool they used.  My finger is swollen and very red.  I also asked for acrylic gel nails and they just gave me regular acrylics.  The woman who did my nails was on her phone texting and talking most of the time.  If I do return here, I hope the service is better.
