Literally burnt me!! I have scabs under each of my eyes from getting waxed two days ago. Shape of the brows look good, but I still have hairs that were missed. Not going back. They always take their time and all the work they do is custom. It’s very hard in Columbus to find a nail shop who takes pride in what they do as much as this one here. I had THE best experience I've ever had at a nail salon. We got there an hour and a half before closing & there was a wait (which I didn't mind because I knew they got alot business so I expected it) & when it was my turn it was pretty much time to close. They didn't turn us away or make us feel like we were keeping them from going home. I was in for a balance that I got done at a different salon (they were terrible looking) & when I say Nicole fixed my nails it is an understatement. The quality of her work is amazing & I honestly expected to pay more than what I did! I've never been so happy with a set before. She surpassed all my expectations. Not only did she do an amazing job on our nails but it was so fun. They make their customers feel welcomed & valued. Nick and Tim own this gem in Hilliard. They truly make us feel like family each and every time we visit. Prices are average for the area, but you do receive above average service. They are also a wax bar, and it seems like the hottest place in town for a brow wax. Read Less

Beware of the mother in law. I had a pedicure and gel manicure. Her idea of a manicure was to use her thumb nail to push back my cuticles. There was no trimming. Her idea of cutting/filing was to use the electric roller over the top and across the front of my nail. That was it. Same with toes minus the roller. Both chipped the first day! I've had gel nails last me over 4 week and these didn't last a full 48 hours. Very disappointing. I now have to go to another salon when I get back from vaca and have redone. Read Less

I have been getting acrylics for years and I was expecting way more from this place. It is extremely over priced & I definetly did not get what I paid for. My nails are crooked. The male is the owners husband and he does the pedicures. He has no idea what he is doing and I'm not even sure if he is certified to be working in a salon. I needed my acrylics taken off and get a whole new set, the owner had her husband take them off and he had no idea what he was doing. I had to pretty much tell him what to do. I was also in there for 2 and a half hours which is absolutely ridiculous. I am a cosmetologist so I know all of the state board rules and qualifications and this place does NOT meet them! I just moved here from Arizona and I was really iffy about going to a new nail place but, I am so glad I found them!!! Nicole and Raney are both very creative and artistic. The pedicures are great and all of the workers are very friendly and always take their time. It's hard to find nail salons that focus on the quality of their work more than the quantity of customers and that's what I love about this place. Nicole is the best when it comes to eyebrows! She is fantastic. I have been to a lot of places and they never get it right, every time I have come here it's been perfect. It's usually busy but I assure you it's worth the wait. The first time I visited this nail salon they were extremely busy so I left and came back later in the day. My gel manicure was mediocre at best, not the color I asked for, and the polish started peeling within a week. When I returned to get the gel polish removed I explained why which really seemed to annoy the lady in charge. I attempted to make friendly small talk and she would barely look at me let alone speak to me as she dug her pointy nails into my hands. I will never return to this salon. Read Less

I am so happy I tried Gloss Nail & Wax Bar out!  It had been entirely too long since my last pedicure, I'm ashamed to admit. Tim took great care of me (and my now happy feet)! The decor is clean & beautiful. I started off with their Grand Pedicure ($54) which included a soak, scrub, mask, paraffin wax, buff and polish. I chose a gel polish which Tim did an excellent job and Nicole did some gorgeous nail art for me!  (I was super giddy as I have ALWAYS wanted nail art). After my pedi I chose a basic mani with gel polish. They are so welcoming, accommodating and helpful. You never feel like they're rushing. Very down to earth!  I'm so pleased to say I will be back (again & again)!!! Thank you guys for making my stressful day bright and making me pretty for my anniversary get-away!!!! I've been to other salons and find that they rush you out and don't do a good job as far as applying the acrylic so they are sturdy, and shaping. This place does it all, I'm a fan of the long nail look & this place never lets me down! The owners are so cool & sweet. Absolutely recommend this place!! Read Less
