I am doing two separate reviews. This 4 star review is based on my experience with Katie. After I asked her to take over from Amy (because Amy kept hurting me and didn't seem to care) she redeemed my experience completely. She listened to what I wanted and was careful and gentle! She was also friendly and nice. As we chatted i began to relax. I could tell I was in good hands. I love the way my nails look, very neat and professional and exactly what I wanted! Katie stayed an hour past closing to finish my nails. This salon is lucky to have Katie, I will return but only to Katie. I would give Katie 5 stars but dont want the salon average to increase too much, since I would not want anyone else to have a painful experience with Amy. I came here for the first time yesterday and had a great first experience. I got a gel manicure and the deluxe pedicure. The pedicure was insanely good, probably the best one I have ever had. I would rather pay $37 for clean equipment and phenomenal service than to go somewhere cheaper that might half ass the job. My gel manicure was also great. I will absolutely be returning. What i dont understand is how I walk in the door and was asked what services i was needing i tell them and i patiently wait for almost an hour for them to ask me to come back tomorrow because they won’t get to me when they could of said this up front that it’s an extended wait time when i told them what i was getting so i could of made the decision to leave along time ago. I've been going here for years & never had any problems. The staff has always been very nice to me & the service is outstanding. I am extremely picky about how I want my pedicures or occasional manicures, but they meet or exceed my expectations every time! I see Jenny because she does a fantastic job on my pedis & is so sweet. I highly recommend Sunny's Nail Salon!! Give it a try & judge it on your own experience, instead of other's. Ask for Jenny, she is wonderful & listens to what you want : ) Just speak up if someone is doing something that you don't like & explain to them what you want. Communication solves a lot of issues. Absolutely horrible. I waited 2 hours but was told beforehand they don't accept appointments. I was sitting in a chair with scolding hot water for an hour before even being serviced. The polish selection was minimal and sucked. The nail dryer doesn't work. They do not sanitize their instruments or clean their soaking basins. I asked the nail tech to trim my ingrown nails as salons always have before. She took that as "cut down your nail vertically, and rip it out." Everyone was glaring at me in agony as I gripped the chair and sweated. I've been in pain for the past 2 days since. Keep disinfecting to try to keep infection at bay. Ibuprofen is the only thing that helps me sleep. I have now experienced medieval torture. And it was only $28. Read Less

This rating is only on my initial impression. I did not receive service from Sunny's. One is that when I arrived, there was a sign stating they no longer take credit cards on Sunday's ...so random and a huge inconvenience. Then when trying to clarify pricing, one employee was unwilling to explain and just seemed not to be interested in my business. It was also extremely hot. I left and won't be returning. Read Less

They people are nice .However I went for a balance with one nail broken..the lady peel my nail trying to get off the remaining pieces that were left on my nail. I told her it was hurting and also bleeding she ignored it and tried to talk me into still getting them done...Now anybody know if your actual nail is cut it's going to burn when they fill it smh she still insisted on doing my nails the manager seen that my nail was bleeding I asked for a band aid I was told they didn't have any he didn't seem to interested that my nail was bleeding either ...Moral of the story is I WILL NEVER GO BACK the best nail shop in Columbus is Hot tips on Cleveland and Morse it's like every shop I go to other than that one I have a bad experience You would think the manager would offer a discount or something he didn't care at all😩✌🏽✌🏽😤 Read Less

My daughter (11) and I both got our nails done she(had gel polish that we provided) and I got a balance and polish change. I go here because its close and convenient. The people are not always kind and they charged me to use the "light' for the gel polish which was I believe 17$ I thought that they would charge something of course but never did I think I would spend over 50 bucks for a child's gel polish and a balance. I wouldn't have been so upset if the people were so rude and rushed. I am going to go back because it's so convenient, but please believe me when I tell to the owner/manager about my previous experience. I would not recommend getting the single lashes costing $100.00. After the girl did my first eye, she said my lashes were too curly & grow in too many directions; therefore she could not make them full. If this was her observation she should have stated that prior to doing the work. I've had individual lashes before & they were beautiful & natural looking. Hi I got acrylics done last Tuesday so 1 week ago and they have all fallen off! They came off whole as well and didn't just chip off, I've had acrylics done before and this has never happened. I came in your shop today with the nails that had fallen off for proof that they shouldn't just fall off like that. She wouldn't replace them which I thought was very rude. My friend then asked so how long should they last for and this girl said a week or 2. I'm sorry but I've had these done a fair amount of times and they have always lasted me over 2 weeks!! This place is by far the best from Atlanta to Chicago no one does it better. I have had the same set of no chip (gel nails) for 19 days and they haven't chipped yet. I get my nails done in three cities throughout the country and the others chip after 10 days are so. But these have held up like always. I used to come when I worked in Columbus. Now when I visit this is a must stop. They are quick, clean, and have more colors than anybody. See my pics. Read Less

1st time was really good experience. I got a manicure and pedicure with gel nails. I loved it I was very pleased and wanted to return. The 2nd time was not so good. The wait was long but to be expected but the service SUCKED!! The gel nails were worthless and sloppy I don't know the girls name who did then but she was worthless too. I made it to my car and turned around to go back and let them know I wasn't happy. That was a waste of time too. Like talking to a brick wall, they said that's how they are suppose to be. Ok, well I'll make sure everyone knows these sh*tty nails came from your business. I won't be returning, they had their chance to fix it and they blew it. I DON'T GET MY NAILS DONE ANYWHERE ELSE! Love the service here! I usually have my daughter with me when I go and they are polite and try to keep her entertained. I appreciate that they acknowledge her instead of acting like she is a nuisance. Pricey, but worth the money! Plus, the designs are awesome! Read Less

Amy did my nails and they are very sloppy to me. She was kinda rude and acts like she had an attitude the entire time. I don't recommend this salon also because I called and ask for prices and they told me a different price when I came in. Very dissapointed in my experience. Read Less

This place is HORRIBLE!!!  I went to get a pedicure, recently and it took over 2 hours.  Instead of telling me they were behind and that there would be a long wait, they prepared the water and sat me in the chair.  My water was cold after over an hour and no one had even started on me.  Two women came in after me and also waited forever.  After waiting an hour and half, a man came in to get a manicure and a pedicure.  For some reason they served him before us and he was finished BEFORE anyone had even started on me.  Then the woman who did my pedicure did not even know enough English to understand basic instructions.  I also think  the place is unsanitary.  They actually waxed a woman's eyebrows as she was seated waiting for her pedicure. Jessie is my girl. I always have her do my nails and they are always perfect! She such a sweetheart and always asks about family, ect. Making a conversation is great. They have great prices here as well, and amazing pedicures! The lady who does the eyebrows, she's fairly new to the shop; but she does a perfect job!! Always looking good after she's done with me. I work around the corner and get my nails done here fairly regularly... good, quick service..very affordable, especially eyebrow waxing.. a little pushy about wanting you to do a gel manicure, but I like gel so its not a problem for me. Read Less

Went to use in business card they give out for you to use in the future. Manager would not allow me to use it because those employees no longer worked there. You don't treat customer like. You are an embaressment to other spa & nail services. Read Less

I've used this salon several times for shellac manicure and pedicure. Customer service was excellent. When I had a problem with one of my shellac nails, I went back and it was redone quickly with no charge. Family friendly. My girls, ages 10 and 13 love to go too. Read Less
