ASK ABOUT HIDDEN COSTS!!!!!!! Was my 3rd visit to Nails 2K. The 1st visit was a balance and gel polish. $32.00. The 2nd was again a balance and gel polish $37.00. This time I phoned and asked the price for a balance and regular(not gel) polish...$20.00 + tax. So I go in...sign in for a balance and pick my color. The bill comes to $35.48!!! (I did need 1 nail replaced...it was cracked and lifted.) So I questioned why so much when I was told $20?? Her answer is priceless....... Because I had to have gel polish taken off: $5 I also needed a “replacement”: $5 And the best.....my nails are too long!! $5 So....to take off THE GEL POLISH YOU PUT ON you charge me $5??? Those nail tips.....are not expensive!! Pennies each maybe....but you charge me $5!!! AND MY NAILS....I had a lot taken off the length, and I mean like 1/4” off the length. My nails are now no longer than the sample color nails you have hanging on the stations!!! But you charge me $5!!!! Did I use the whole bottle of polish??? So maybe in the future you need to advertise all the hidden cost associated with you doing someone’s nails. I won’t be back. Read Less

Found this place via yelp as I hadn't liked the other nail salons I had been to in the area. Was able to make an appointment for that morning and was taken back almost right away despite being fairly busy on a Saturday morning. Both my hands and feet were in need of some TCL so I did both the deluxe manicure and pedicure. I was more pleased with the pedicure than the manicure. It did not seem like the polish stayed on very long before chipping off my fingernails (only a couple of days). The polish on my toenails lasted for several weeks though. My step mom and I literally just left because the man doing a pedicure told us they were closed. It is 6 p.m. on a Saturday and the sign in the window clearly says they close at 7 p.m. I'd you are not going to honor the time then change the time on the door. This was my first time there. Took my granddaughter to get her nails done for prom. We had no appointment ; however, we only waited 20 minutes that was great!! The business had no public restroom so that was a BIG downside!!! Also the employees were not friendly at all!! And just from observation I think they use nail clippers they haven't sterilized between people, not sure but she did put them back in a draw after using them!! After we were done she had my granddaughter sit to dry her nails, I had no ideal how long she should do this. The technician "Emily" never said anything just pointed. After 10 minutes we decided they were dry. I did give it a 3 just because Emily did a nice job on her nails and my granddaughter was happy and I will give them the benefit of the doubt that they cleaned those nail  clippers in between uses!! Finally a place that does SNS nails!! SNS is better for your nail health, ten times lighter feeling then pink and white or acrylic and requires no Dremel drill. I love it! And it comes in hundreds of colors! Tom has been doing my nails for 15 years. I've followed him everywhere and now that his family owns 2K, it's my go to spot! The wait was kinda long since they are one of the only places open on a Sunday, but it was fully worth it!!!!! By far the best pedicure I've ever gotten. I did their Luxury which includes a hot stone massage and parrafin wax. It was fully incredible. My legs and feet were sore from a long week's worth of work and I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Very reasonably priced for a manicure pedicure at around $43 before tax. I have never had to wait long although I see that others may have waited. I always just get a regular mani/pedi no special acrylic or designs and they always do well. They are very nice but it's definitely not their first language so there isn't much chit chat, which is fine with me. In-Out-good price-good result. Read Less

Got a balance and 4 hrs later there breaking and cracking off I call and come in to complain and they accuse me of biting them off!!! So messed up service and customer service in my life with nail shops I got my nails done since I was 13 and I have never been this unhappy about nails! I dont not recommend this place to anyone!! Came in here with my 3 sisters. The lady doing my toes was very rough with them and didnt even do everything that i paid for. I think i said "that hurts" more then i can count. I will never come back here again. Plus once i was done they wouldnt let me sit with my sisters while they did there toes. And it wasnt even busy... very unhappy Read Less

Dude.  I wanted to take my little cousin out for a pedicure and manicure.  She's only 10, but I didn't think about age being an issue.  I called ahead of time to see if they had time for two mani/pedis, and they said yes to come on in.  So we get there, and They were completely packed.  We still didn't have to wait that long, there were a lot of technicians working and we were sat in our pedicure chairs right away.  My tech came over and turned on my water, but didn't turn on my little cousin's water.  I had to eventually ask them to turn on her water, and the tech was like "Oh...SHE'S getting one too?"  She was super annoyed that I was asking them to do a mani pedi for her, even though I called ahead of time.  The pedicures themselves were nice, both of our toes looked awesome.  No problems there.  So then it comes time for the manicure.  While my little cousin's tech was finishing her pedi, she soaked a cotton ball with polish remover and threw it at my cousin and said "take off your polish."  I've never had someone demand that before, it was kind of rude.  So we get our manicures, and my little cousin's tech spent the entire time on the phone and got so wrapped up in her conversation that she put the top coat on and completely forgot the glitter polish my cousin wanted added on to her darker color.  So she had to come over while we were drying and apply the glitter.  After she was done, I said thank you and she didn't say anything and just stomped off.  Our fingers and toes did look really nice, I can't complain about the quality of the work.  It was 43 for the mani/pedi combo, which included the sugar scrub and leg massage as well as the hand massage.  The salon was a little run down, it was also extremely cramped in there.  Pedi stations are so close together the arm rests on both chairs can't be down at the same time when you're sitting next to someone.  There were also flies and gnats all over the place, that really grossed me out.  In summary, I was mostly annoyed by their attitude toward my poor little cuz, as well as the run down and kind of dirty appearing interior of the place.  Good job on the fingers and toes, but I won't be back.  Sorry guys. Good competitive pricing. 7-8 pedi chairs. Great hours to find time in your schedule to go. Very nice customer service from owner. Plenty of nail techs.
