This nail salon earns 2 stars for the simple fact that I was able to get in when the first two places I tried were too busy. They were also friendly, which was a plus. I had a gel manicure done. I've had gel polish done many times before; however, I've never had them chip within the first week. Going on week two and they look terrible. All but 3 nails are severely chipped. I also used my debit card to pay with the tip in cash, as encouraged. Three days later when looking at the charges, I was over charged by fifteen dollars. I know I should go back and try to get a refund, but it's not convenient since we are out of state. Just really bummed on the entire experience. Read Less

I won’t go anywhere else for my nails! Just like any place that’s really good, they are super busy so I highly recommended making an appointment before going. Everyone is so nice, I’ve been to several techs and they all do a good job. They are a little more expensive than your typical nail spa but they do such a good job it’s worth it. My dip powder treatments will last 4-5 weeks before I need them done, other salons are 2-3 weeks max. Read Less

After waiting 40 minutes for our appointments, I got my nails dipped. Overall experience was fine. My cousin had the same treatment right before me, she had cuticle oil applied to her hands, while after waiting for my nails to finish drying I expected to also get cuticle oil, except he had moved onto the next clinent. For waiting 40 minutes for my appointment time, and lack of consistency in treatments I’m very disappointed. I understand that it was a Saturday, one of their busiest days, but if you can’t get to me in a reasonable time, and then moving on to the next client before my treatment was done left me very disappointed. I have been pleased with the job all the techs have done at this salon. My schedule is so variable making it hard to make appointments to far in advance. Normally I call to see if Ican get in and so far have been able to everytime. I have a particular situation with my natural nail and Ivy took care of it yesterday allowing the outcome to be even better!!!! Was very happy with our experience. Haven't been to a lot of nail places, but of all the ones I have this is definitely the best, we will certainly be back. We did have to wait a bit, but that was partly because we called about an hour before we wanted 3 pedicures. This place is super nice--with a normal price range. They squeezed me in for a pedicure when they were a half hour til close. The pedicure chairs are really nice--they even have a little leg prop for when the scrape the bottom of your feet! (Which I've never seen before). The interior is nice and contemporary. After Years of going to other nail salons I am happy to say I found home! Polish Nail Bar is just amazing! The staff is friendly and very involved. My sister and I started going the week they had their opening and watching them blossom into this constantly busy and booming salon is just awesome. Yes you will have to wait sometimes because they are amazing at what they do and are busy, but in that case you can grab a drink from their bar! I called ahead and was told that they could get me in quickly. When I arrived, I was told that it would be a 5 min. wait. I finally got a seat about 20 minutes later. My nails were cut much shorter than I wanted, then filed even shorter than that. There was a tear on one of my nails that he noticed, but then ignored. I received a gel manicure, but the polish was not started close to the cuticle at all. The manicure looked like it had grown out for a week already. The atmosphere is neat, and everything is clean. Clean salon, nice people and atmosphere. However, my $40 GEL manicure only lasted one week.UPDATE : I received a message to stop in to get my nail redone. And they did, free of charge. The woman I spoke to apologized, told me it should have lasted longer and told me to come in if it ever happened again. I truly appreciate this type of customer service! This is a newer establishment, being open only about 6 months per the owner. I called them at 4 pm hoping to be squeezed in and was told they could get me in at 6 pm! The location is not hard to find either, I'm new to the area and had no trouble finding the place. I was pleasantly greeted upon arrival and after signing in I was taken to a table. Ivy, my nail technician (and co-owner), was so friendly and engaging. It was my first time getting the gel dip and I wasn't sure what I wanted and she was so patient with the explanation. My nails are short from biting them so I opted to have them extended with acrylics (only I didn't know they'd be acrylics at first). As a nurse, I cannot wear acrylics at the hospital for risk of infection. I explained this to her after she applied one acrylic and she was not at all mad and happy to take it off. She was wonderful to converse with! I didn't realize she was the co-owner (she and her husband own the nail bar) until talking more with her. The staff and other customers looked happy as well which was nice to see. They have a great selection of services along with a bar! When I called the guy was very polite and helpful with making my appointment and discussing what I wanted. When I got there it was very nice, clean and the staff was all friendly. Went last week for an acrylic fill and was amazed with thier service...The couple that owns the place are very attentive, excellent and quality products ( they use OPI polish, CND acrylic)the place is gorgeous, extremely clean, they offer  awesome treatments, their clients feel pampered in a  wonderful atmosphere for a nail place.... loved so much my nails, that I went for a pedicure the next day and was left with an awesome experience...had the "lavish" pedicure and trust me it's a lavish experience.
