The staff was very nice and professional, but this was not a great manicure. My gel polish lasted all of 5 days before peeling off in sheets. Not sure what went wrong here, but they usually last almost 2 weeks before even showing small chips or wear. Read Less

I wish I read the reviews before going into this place.  I had a poor experience and hate that I dropped almost $50 to now have cuts all over my fingers/cuticles.  I paid for a dip manicure and received absolutely no exfoliation, massage, or lotion on my hands.  I pray my fingers don't get infected. Just went to this salon for the first time for a quick color change. Gave a $50 (absolutely positive I did, as I had just tried to use it at the shop next door and they asked for a smaller bill) and they gave me back change for a $20. They acted like I hadn't and several of the ladies quickly "confirmed" so there was nothing I could do -- i.e., they totally robbed me in front of my own eyes. I will never go back (and the unfortunate thing for them is, I get my nails done every week and had they not robbed me, I would have gone every week and they would have made way more than $50). I will NEVER come here again. I was there last week and the girl was in a huge rush to do my nails, told me they didn't do Matte WHEN THEY DO! And my nails look awful. There are tiny bubbles , my nails are way too thick and uneven, my nail came off when I was at work picking up a box of shoes after only one week, they just look terrible! The moment I walked in I knew I should have left, always trust your gut. I walked in and there was a lady out front on her phone, I signed in that same lady walked in, started my nails, she glued, without measuring the tips to my fingers first, and cut the acrylics all while still having her conversation on the phone. I will never bring my services back to this place. They need to get real licensed professionals. I don't know what was worse, the female turning her face up at me when I asked for pink and white coffin shaped nails, the face that she needed to use a tool in order to give me a french tip, the fact that she didn't give me what I asked for. Coffin shaped nail, my nails look like press on's, they are very thin, with no arch, the arch gives that strength in the nail, I have 2 nails that have decent arches. 38 years old and just had my first ever manicure and pedicure! Took my mom with me for a girls day. We both loved the experience at nail avenue! Great service and prices! My only regret is not getting the name of the man that did my treatments! I would love to be able to book appointments with him! Such incredible service. I had a mani/pedi done at Nail Avenue on Thursday. 50% of my nail polish is already chipped off (4 days later). I felt that the conditions were unsanitary. The pedicure bowls were barely cleaned between customers (a few quick wipes with a towel-- I saw this done to 2 different bowls by two different employees). My cuticles were all cut away (which isn't safe for the nails). My nail polish was applied in a rush. The polish was dripping off the applicator onto the table as she was painting my nails. It went on very thick and sloppy. She started another customer in the middle of my manicure and slapped a top coat on as I was leaving.I do not recommend this salon Read Less

I have been going to Nail Avenue for over 4 years and have never had a bad experience with my Deluxe Pedicures. I can only speak for pedicures because I have never had a manicure or gel nails, but i go every 2-4 weeks and have never been disappointed! Read Less

Terrible product! I came in for a basic balance with one repair and I'm skeptical whether the tech was licensed as she had to ask for assistance with filing and applying acrylic. After 45 minutes she called someone from the back to finish filing my nails and I ended up walking out without polish to just finish them myself. Poor polish selection, most colors were off brand. I couldn't be more dissatisfied with a paid service. Also in a week I've lost 4 nails. One star because she was nice even though she lacked experience. Read Less

By far, the WORST nail place I've ever been to. The lady who did my nails could not have been any less interested in my treatment.....or her work. Strike one: I came in and she sat me in a chair with a bowl of acetone on a heater to remove the gel. She did NOT file off the top coat first, so I knew right off the bat this was going to hurt, and take forever. Strike two: never once, did she try and offer me a drink, make conversation, etc.Strike three: the bowl of acetone got HOT and fast. I literally could feel it as my skin was drying out and my nails were catching on fire in the bowl. Strike four: Another of the nail ladies walked by and could see I was trying to get the gel off my hands, and she hands me a scraper and tells me I can do it myself. Are you kidding me? Am I not paying YOU to do MY nails? Strike five: since the nail lady didn't take off the top coat first before soaking my nails, she had to scrape even harder to get the gel off. I literally almost came out of my chair a few times it was so painful. Then, when she was cutting my nails she cut me too! Manicures are NOT supposed to be painful!!!To add insult to injury, literally, they offer $20 gel manicures but beware, if you already have gel on your nails (like everyone does) then it's an additional cost. (Apparently, even if you have to take it off yourself) In the end, I would leave 0 stars if I could. Read Less
