I had a scheduled appointment at 2:30 pm, when I got there I got a chair right away. I selected the middle of the road pedicure with gel polish which should not have taken over an hour. After an hour in the chair, the gel polish was finally done and then had to rush through the rest of the pedicure in 10 minutes. Because she was rushing, she burned me with water and wasn't sorry at all. They still charged me full price for the service. If I hadn't asked how much longer the pedicure was going to be, I am certain I would have been there another half hour to 45 minutes. Read Less

I have lived all over the country and have gone to many nail salons but none truly beats Central Nails. You are not just a number there. They truly take the time to cut your cuticles instead of pushing them in.  You guys are the best. My manis always last 3 weeks and they look amazing. Read Less

Had the worst manicure yesterday. I have a dedicated two week appointment w a fabulous manicurist but due to a last minute interview I needed a quick fix until my gel appointment w her. I decided to stop by central nails after calling to see if they had availability. The manicurist was cold and unfriendly. She kept pushing gel on me but I explained I have a standing appt every two weeks this was just needed as a last minute fix to look fresh for my interview. She was visibly displeased that I wasn't getting a higher priced service. She started painting my nails and the nail polish was obviously thick and tacky. She applied the first layer then switched it out with a "fresher" polish. Applying a very thick layer to cover the shoddy first layer. Then the top coat. The nail polish job was sub par to say the least. I then sat for twenty minutes and my nails were super tacky. She came over and said "you can leave but be careful". I told her my nails were still very tacky and I said I wasn't comfortable leaving yet. She used some weird drops on my nails and said "ok you're good". My nails developed these hideous air bubbles all over them and started chipping with in 18 hours. No shower, no hard labor, just normal daily activities and needless to say my manicure didn't even make it to my interview. Will not ever be back. Read Less

I just recently moved to the Columbus area about a year and a half ago and struggled for along time to find a really good nail salon. I kept getting really bad service or really rude people. Well a friend recommended Central Nails and I have been going there ever since. I love it. I will never go anywhere else ever. My nails always look amazing and there prices are reasonable and there very nice and make you feel right at home. Thanks to Katie and her amazing team my nail probably disappeared! I give this place 5 stars and that is rare for me because I think of my self as a perfectionist and see the flaws in everything. I never give comments either this is my first one for a public place. I come often for just a pedicure and brow wax. I really don't have any complaints. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It helps to come in with a friendly attitude as I see so many women come in with a chip on their shoulder or "I better than you" attitude. They can only fixed the ugly on the outside. Read Less

Negative -10 if there was a such rating-HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE just went in to get a SIMPLE MANICURE-they put way too many coats of polish on expecting my nails to be dry in 5 minutes, when polish smeared I had to come back then repolished to be told 10 minutes but I said to myself(I'm not a specialist but I'm gonna give it 20 minutes instead to be safe) I even walked to another technician to check to make sure they were dry and she said "they are dry" while looking at me crazy.... While driving out the lot, I realized they smeared AGAIN. At this point I just wanted my money back because I was already there 2 hours so they only gave me back $6 of my original $15 stating that they did a cuticle cut. So I guess cutting cuticles are $9, It's not my fault the polish did not dry and I'm being told to leave both times because they assumed it was dry-I paid yall to know better. I should've known it was going to be a bad experience when I had to wait 20 minutes as if I was a walk-in and I had an appointment. Pedicure was good but paint job was poor. I stayed under the nail dryer and touched it lightly before I left to make sure it was dry. At some point while I was home both big toes were smudged. I think the problem was the man did not spray that dry spray thing on my toes. All I know is, I did my part. I'm pissed and I can't reach them until Monday! Read Less

Do not know what they are doing when it comes to acrylics. They are sloppy and rush. We also paid more than what we were suppose too. Whoever their "new management" is, needs to rethink of who they have working for them and how they want to price things and then make you pay more than what your suppose too. Read Less
