Trying a new stylist is a terrifying experience for me. I am really particular about my hair. I had box braids for about 5 weeks and after I took them out and detangled (mostly) my hair I decided to get some professional help. Quality of service 10/10 - Wash, condition, trim, style. She takes care while detangling your hair, she does not rip through or cause breakage. It's great. Timeliness 10/10 - I never had to wait between and of the hair care steps. Results 10/10 - I got my hair straightened with a bit of a curl to add layers and movement. The curls lasted for an entire week and I worked out a few times. The roots got a little frizzy from sweat but no hair dresser can prevent that! Little things: keeping you dry with a nice microfiber cloth at the base of your neck after deep condition!!! Good conversation. She seems like a genuinely decent human being. Which is always nice lol Even the location is great. I cannot overstate how happy I am with this salon. I will be returning! And updating my review:)

I found Leia on Yelp and decided to try her. She is a very pleasant young business owner who appears to be driven to fulfill her vision of a multi service salon. I was quite pleased with my gel manicure and her attention to detail when trimming my cuticles and applying the polish. My nails look fantastic! I would highly recommend her and will return. Having Locks, I'm weary about having different stylist touch my hair, especially outside of Atlanta. While visiting Ohio for a wedding I saw her pictures and saw the many reviews of praise and satisfaction of her work so I booked an appointment. I left 100% satisfied and I received many compliments and questions from people who wanted to know who did my locks after. She keeps a clean and professional salon and attends to each of her clients as if they were her only client. I was really impressed with her knowledge, and appreciated all of her Hair Care tips. If you're in the Akron, OH area I highly recommend you go see Dr. Leia' Love.
