If I could give 0 stars I would. The male nail tech is extremely rude. I was told to go to the pedicure chair where I waited 20mins. They then started the water which was too hot and tried to make me wait to again just to get the water temperature changed. I have been going to this salon since its conception. Sometimes it looks a little dusty! But they are all very professional, and they take good care of your nails. They know who you are. If your nail is having a problem, they let you know about it. And tell you what you need to do.     The first time I had my nails done, I went to an expensive  place, because I was very afraid of getting infected nails! After a while, I realized that as long as the place is clean, nail techs keep the area clean, you do not need an expensive place. The "boat" people take great pride in their work and are happy with the job they have.        This store/spa is not started by boat people, but a family. They work together and children are welcomed! They are not very good about appointments sometimes when it is so busy. But they try to keep them. come in early! No problem. Look around and judge if it is going to be to long as a walk in, in the afternoon!  I love this place, very family orientated. Once in a while a nail will lift. They fix it right away if not to busy. I've been seeing Charlotte for my nails way before she opened her own business. Charlotte and cj are both amazing at what they do and I always love the finish result. I had a spray tan done a few months ago which went amazingly dark and lasted up to 2 weeks!! And as lovely as Charlotte was she also fit me in short notice to sort my nails out for holiday. WORST NAIL SALON EVER!! This is 2 times they pissed me off and now I swear I am never coming back. First off their little employees got attitudes and are too lazy to do their damn job they try to throw on false charges and excuses just so they won't have to do what you want done. Totally unprofessional and this guy that works there (don't know his name but he seems new) he is a complete asshole. They need to get rid of him cause he cops an attitude so quick with you when you tell him how you want your nails done and then he wants to start talking to his coworkers in whatever fucking language they speak. Went to have my nails done for a wedding I called before going and asked about price was told $28.00 for full set and color got there wanted my nail shaped with round tips instead of square and only got the tips colored and was charged $38.00 before tax was disappointed cause for the extra price they charged I could have gotten them decorated instead of plain. My moms been going there for at least 10 years. Dad gets her a gift certificate at Christmas time and she always gets so happy Amy is her favorite. I get my pedicure Sometimes and my mom doesn't have to pay full price since I don't get my toes polished! But she loves them there. Read Less

Worst pedicure I've ever gotten. It was a spa pedicure. The woman was nice enough but she did a terrible job. When I got home, my heels looked like cracked stone. The paint began wearing off all of my toes within 48 hours. I called to complain and the guy basically told me that unless I get a shellac pedi, I can't expect the paint to last. Seriously? A pedi should last more than 2 days. He also told me that I must have worn shoes before my toes had dried. I wore flip flops and ONLY flip flops for the rest of the day. He finally said I could come back in for them to repair it, but as I live 25 minutes away, I didn't have time. Never ever again. Read Less

I used to live in Chi up to late July and went to Charlotte's several times, and I miss CJ and her INCREDIBLE manicure. I stumbled upon this salon quite by accident one day when I was out that way - which is totally out of my area and comfort zone. I needed my nails done and took a chance. This turned out to be the BEST mani I've ever had. I wish I had gotten the girl's name who took care of me. She was awesome. No sloppy edges or bare spots like I constantly get from the place I usually go. As the Fairfield location is not convenient for me at all, I'l definitely try the Milford store to see if they are just as good. Almost two weeks later, my manicure is still looking good! It was ok...My first impression walking in is that it seems kind of dirty. A rag and some all-purpose wouldn't hurt. I only went in for a cut down and color change. I was seen immediately, so no wait. The girl who did my nails did seem like she was rushing, but my nails did come out fine. If you need a quick polish change, it's ok. But if your getting a full pedi or set, you might catch something. Read Less

This is by far the WORST place to come and get your nails, eyebrows, or eyelashes done. I waited for an hour and because I was doing the eyelashes extension, a longer process, they kept taking people who came after me, stating I had to wait because my process will take longer. Completely UNSATISFACTORY this is not how you run a business let alone provide customer service. I have been a faithful customer of Q nails for about a year until recently when the quality of service and professionalism wasn't up to the standards I expect out of a nail salon. One or two of my nails after a week of getting them done would fall off. After awhile when I would call for an appointment  the owner (who would always answer the phone) refused to write my name down, so as a result I would have to wait  30 or 40 minutes even though I had an appointment.  There are other things but may seem pety to others so I will stop at what I have wriiten. I was faithful to QNails almost weekly during the awesome time of life when acrylics were in. I love this place. Like the other reviewer mentioned, the main woman remembers EVERYTHING and everyone. While there are a plethora of these type of nail salons around, this one is by far the best one I've ever been to. They're the nicest people, make my feet and hands look pretty, don't let me contract some disgusting skin condition that you'd hear about looming around nail salons on 60 minutes, and the main woman who works there remembers EVERYONE... Not just that she saw you a month or so ago - but fine details like where your parents live or your sisters name or what your degree is in... now that I think about it - its a little bizarre.
